Chapter 8 The CEO Of Megatitan Group

Jeanne snorted indignantly. "Who can't afford it? Who the fuck are you referring to? Do you think everyone's as poor as you? Can't you tell that Kim's the richest person here? Obviously, the alcohol here isn't good enough for him!"

Everyone then chimed in to flatter Kim. It was as though this hotel was owned by his family.

Little did they know that Kim was just pretending to be calm.

Face ashen, Kim said to the waiter reluctantly, "Give us seven bottles of this alcohol. That'll be all."

Brian had seen the price of it just now. It cost only $1888 per bottle.

Brian rolled his eyes and then feigned a surprised expression. "Mr. Percival, is this the alcohol that you usually drink? No way! I always thought that someone like you would only drink good alcohol! Well, to be honest, I'm a little disappointed."

His sharp words managed to irritate everyone present, especially Kim's followers.

They immediately stood up and started shouting at Brian. "What the fuck do you know, you peasant? How dare you be so arrogant? Kim, let's order something more expensive!"

"Yeah! How dare he dislike the alcohol you ordered? Order a more expensive one and see if he can afford it!"

Among them, Jeanne cursed Brian the most fiercely. "You're nothing but a fucking hillbilly! I can tell at a glance that you know nothing about the finer things in life! Do you know what Royal Salute is? Kim gargles with it!"

Everyone jeered, telling Kim to pick a more expensive alcohol brand so that Brian, the peasant boy, could see the world.

It was hard to tell whose side these people were on-Kim's or Brian's?

Brian scratched the back of his head, pretending to be embarrassed.

Kim cursed these idiots silently. Royal Salute? Easy for them to say! Who's side were these idiots on?

Brian took this chaos as an opportunity to take a look at the menu. He pointed at something on the menu quickly and said, "Just order these. Mr. Percival, what do you think?"

Kim craned his neck to look at what Brian was pointing at.

But Brian had moved too quickly. Before Kim could see the menu, Brian slapped it shut and handed it over to the waiter.

Kim comforted himself quietly, reminding himself that Royal Salute was at most ten thousand dollars per bottle. Brian had ordered four or five bottles. Now the cost of this meal had gone beyond his budget. It wouldn't be that big a deal. He could always borrow some money if worst came to worst.

But he couldn't let Brian order anything more. He looked at the waiter and snapped impatiently, "What're you waiting for? I'm starving! Serve the food already!"

The waiter had planned to confirm the order with Kim beforehand so that he could tell him about the price of the alcohol that Brian had ordered.

However, Kim's attitude was annoying, which made the waiter changed his mind. He smiled and left without saying anything more.

After a while, several waiters filed into the private room with bottles of alcohol.

Kim was stunned. One bottle, two bottles, three...

The waiters had brought in more than twenty bottles of Royal Salute to the table.

Without hesitation, they popped the corks off all of them simultaneously.

All the color drained from Kim's face instantly. The second the bottles were unsealed, it was too late to return them.

The waiter from earlier looked at Kim with a smile and said respectfully, "Sir, your bottles of Royal Salute is ready. Please enjoy."

Looking at the bottles of Royal Salute in front of him, Kim felt as though his world was collapsing around him. And his face was extremely pale.

He had never expected that Brian would order so many bottles of Royal Salute.

The next second, anger surged through his veins. Brian was making trouble for him on purpose!

Brian, on the other hand, seemed completely unfazed. As soon as the dishes were served, he wolfed down the food on the table.

Seeing this, Kim couldn't help but tremble with rage. He would wait and see how Brian would pay up later! If worst came to worst, he could just go back on his word. Anyway, it was Brian who ordered these bottles of extravagantly expensive whisky.

The others watched Brian in disgust and then raised their glasses to flatter Kim.

However, Kim was in no mood to listen to their stupid praise.

Even though the table was covered in gourmet food, he had no appetite. Instead of eating, he pulled out his phone quietly and began to text his friends, asking if he could borrow some money.

At this time, Brian's phone suddenly rang. It was an unknown caller.

As soon as the call connected, a humble voice came from the other end of the line.

"Hello, Mr. Tennant. This is Tom Leech, CEO of Megatitan Group. Charles has told me that you're the future boss of my company. If I may, could I pay you a visit and report my work to you? Is it convenient for you to see me now?"

Oh, God!

Brian was under the impression that the "small" company Charles mentioned last time was some unknown company.

Unexpectedly, the "small" company Charles talked about was actually the Megatitan Group!

The Megatitan Group, with a market value of nearly trillions of dollars, was Brian's now!
