Chapter 3 Kevin's Mockery

Tristan decided to just ignore the obnoxious couple. After all, today was his birthday, and he also had to complete the Magnate System's task.

But he wasn't going to just let them go either. He'd remember how they humiliated him today and make them pay in the future.

Without so much as looking at the two, Tristan took out his bank card from his pocket and handed it to the hostess. "Take this and process my membership application."

The hostess hesitantly took the card.

Judging from the clothes Tristan was wearing and what Kevin and Ellie said just now, she couldn't help but suspect that Tristan was bluffing.

After thinking for a while, she decided to ask the manager on duty.

As soon as she left, Kevin walked up to Tristan and placed his hand on the latter's shoulder.

"Are you pretending to be deaf, Tristan? Let's be real. You collect trash and eat leftovers at school every day. Do you really have enough money in your card? I know you only have a few dollars in your account."

Tristan cast a cold glance at Kevin. Without saying a word, he plucked Kevin's hand away from his shoulder.

Bored by this scene, Ellie strutted over to Kevin, deliberately swaying her hips from side to side provocatively. "Kevin, this idiot doesn't have any money in his card. I used up all his money every month. And his roommates said that he's only been eating bread in the dormitory lately."

"Oh, my God! Really? That's terrible!"

Kevin pretended to be surprised, but the next second, he burst into laughter. "Even my dog lives a better life than you. Tristan, how about this? Kneel down and beg me; then I'll give you our leftovers. What do you think?"

"Kevin, don't do that. Save the leftovers for the dogs. As for Tristan... He's worth even less than a dog!"

"True. Even dogs deserve more than him! You should've broken up with him a long time ago. I don't know how you put up with such a loser for so long."

"It's because I didn't meet you sooner! I would've dumped him long ago if I had met you earlier!"

The two looked at each other flirtatiously, and Kevin even licked his lips with an obscene smile.

Tristan, on the other hand, didn't flinch. He just stood there calmly.

Just a few hours earlier, he was just a poor guy. He could do nothing but vomit blood and pass out on the sports field when this shameless couple humiliated him.

Now that he had the Magnate System and one million dollars in his account, he didn't feel the need to argue with these worthless people.

When Kevin saw that Tristan was unfazed, he flew into a fit of rage.

Just as he was about to teach Tristan a lesson, the hostess came running toward them.

"Kevin, look! She's back with his card! It was declined so quickly!" Ellie laughed complacently.

Unexpectedly, the hostess completely ignored Ellie and Kevin. She walked right past them and went straight to Tristan.

Having been ignored, Kevin frowned and took out a black card from his pocket. He waved it in front of the hostess impatiently. "See this? I'm a senior member of your hotel. Now I'm going to use my privilege to ask you to drive this piece of trash away. I don't want to see him again. Do you hear me?"

Kevin was very arrogant. He barked orders at the hostess as though she was his servant, straightened his suit, and looked at Tristan with disdain.

To Kevin's surprise, the hostess still ignored him. Instead, she stood respectfully in front of Tristan and bowed to him deeply.

"Mr. Stanfield, I'm really sorry. I wasn't thinking straight just now. I hope you can forgive me for my rudeness! Mr. Stanfield, please accept my sincerest apology! I hope what happened just now won't affect your appetite."

Seeing the hostess bowing and apologizing to Tristan humbly, Kevin and Ellie were stunned.

Before the two could react, the hostess suddenly straightened up and violently shoved Kevin and Ellie out of the way. To Tristan, she smiled and gestured at him to come inside the hotel. "Mr. Stanfield, this way please!"

Seeing that Tristan was about to enter Breezy Hotel, Kevin stopped Tristan decisively and roared, "Wait just a fucking second! You're letting this loser inside? Why?"
