Chapter 10 The Shocked Madeline

Madeline was stunned. She couldn't help but wonder if she misheard him.

"Are you serious?" she blurted out.

Tristan nodded with a smile. "100%. Miss Olson, please take me to this villa. I want to see it in person. If it's all up to standard, I'll pay for it in full."

Was this guy bullshitting? Madeline eyed him warily. After all, this was their best property, and it was worth ten million dollars. If Tristan could afford to pay it in full, then...

Anyhow, Madeline decided to play along for now. She wanted to see if he could really pay ten million dollars.

If he couldn't, then Madeline was determined to humiliate this guy and make him regret coming here. Even if Lillian was present, she didn't care. After all, Tristan had wasted her whole afternoon.

The keys to the top villas were usually stored inside the office, so when Madeline went to get the key, an older saleswoman suddenly asked, "Madeline, is that your client?"

"No, he's just my roommate's friend," Madeline answered flatly.

"I knew it. You wouldn't bring such a poor guy here even if you were out of your mind. Look at him. His clothes are so shabby. A word of advice: just kick him out of here. After all, this month, you're at the bottom in terms of sales for the nth time," the saleswoman sneered rudely.

"I don't mind." Madeline wasn't in the mood to argue with her. After all, the old women in the sales department were always so mean, and she was used to their bullying.

Anyway, she had nothing else to do now. Even if she didn't make a sale today, she could just take it as helping Lillian find out whether Tristan was a liar or not.

Soon, she led Tristan and Lillian to Stalpree Villas' most expensive property.

As soon as Lillian stepped inside the villa, her breath was taken away.

The villa was luxuriously decorated and equipped with the most high-end facilities, including a cinema, a swimming pool, a sauna, and a gym, to name a few.

Lillian looked around in awe. The chandeliers twinkled brightly, as though they were inlaid with diamonds. Even the toilet bowls were made of gold.

The whole villa reeked of luxury. Lillian had never seen anything so high-end before in her life.

Tristan was also awe-struck. All the furniture and decor were made from the most expensive materials on earth, rendering him speechless.

Tristan quickly touched all the items in the villa one by one. When he encountered something he had never seen before, he would take a selfie with his phone and then post the photos on his social media.

Madeline happened to witness this.

She never believed that Tristan was rich, and now she was 100% sure that Tristan was a lying fool.

No rich person would act like this!

Madeline had it all figured out. Tristan just pretended he was buying a villa so that he could take photos and show off, posting them on social media so that he could deceive more girls.

Madeline hated these kinds of men the most. She even began to suspect that he had conned Lillian in this way.

As for the one million dollar deposit at Breezy Hotel, it was most likely that Tristan was lying about that too. Madeline didn't believe that such a poor, tasteless man had a million dollars in the bank.

Just as Madeline was conjuring a plan to expose Tristan's lie, he did something that shocked her.

Tristan took out a worn-out bank card from his pocket and handed it to Madeline. "This villa is perfect. I'll pay for it in full," he said calmly.

Madeline's jaw went slack. "What?"
