Chapter 7 Unexpected Ransom

"I... I don't have money." Kent looked even more pitiful at this time. He continued, "I'm just a gangster. I only make enough to feed myself and sort out my bills. Never in my life have I handled such an amount."

Before Garry could figure out who the sender was, his phone rang again. This time, it was a call.

He answered the phone immediately.

"I have transferred the money already. I didn't call the cops."

A familiar voice came from the other end of the line.

"You now have what you wanted. Please don't hurt Garry. I don't know who you are. Just let go of him as soon as you withdraw the money."

The originally sweet female voice gradually became anxious and a little hoarse.
