Chapter 6 Dangerous Game

"Please have mercy on me. Spare my life!" Kent begged for mercy as his blood continued to gush out. "Let's strike a deal. If you let me live, I can be your slave from now on. I'll do whatever you ask of me."

His pleas fell on deaf ears. Revenge was the only thing Garry had in mind.

He could vividly remember how Kent had threatened him, beaten him, and even tried to kill him some minutes back. How could he forgive such a vile person?

"Shut up! I don't want a useless slave like you," Garry replied coldly. He then snapped at some of the armed men. "One of you should break all his fingers!"

A hefty middle-aged man immediately walked forward and bowed to Garry. "Let me do it, sir. I'm experienced in such things."

Garry turned to look at his father for confirmation.

Rafael nodded slowly and said, "Stone is one of my most capable men. He's very good at this. Give him a chance."

Garry took his father's word for it. He nodded at the willing man.

Stone Miller hurried to Kent as soon as he got the go-ahead.

"Don't! Please!"

Kent tried to prevent his fingers from getting broken. He clenched his fists, but he was no match for Stone.

Stone held one of his hands. He slowly picked out the pinky and turned it to the other side.

Crack!

The sound of bones breaking was immediately heard.

Kent's pinky went limp. His palm took an awkward shape.

The sight of it alone was terrifying.

"Ouch!" Kent cried at the top of his lungs.

It was said that the nerves of the fingers were linked to the heart.

The pain shot from Kent's finger to his heart in a split second.

His eyes were bloodshot at this time. Tears and snot were all over his face. He looked a mess.

Despite the man's heartrending cries, Stone didn't feel an iota of pity for him. He continued to break the remaining fingers.

Crack! Crack! The sound of an additional nine cracks was heard before the torture stopped.

Kent was in so much pain that he couldn't look at his hands or hold them up. He curled up on the ground and cried his eyes out like a child.

"Sir, it's done."

Stone reported the completion of the job to Garry before retreating.

With his hands akimbo, Garry said mockingly, "Let's just say that each finger costs ten thousand. Since all ten of them are broken, I owe you a hundred thousand dollars. Now, let's play rock paper scissors.

I'll take some losses. For each round, if I lose, I'll give you one million. But if I win, you have to give me just one hundred thousand. It's a deal!"

Kent was in a bad state at this time. He was sweating and twitching constantly.

But once he heard Garry's proposal, he quickly sat up with despair.

"Sir! My fingers are broken. I can't play any game with them now," Kent said, raising his deformed hands.

Garry sucked his teeth. "Tsk, tsk! How is that any of my business? I have already squandered the whopping sum of one hundred thousand on your fingers. You must play with me!"

Kent knew he would be in hot water if he dared to refuse, so he had to agree.

It was a wrong decision nonetheless. He couldn't win at all.

After a while, Kent lost four rounds in a row.

Not only did he lose the one hundred thousand dollars he got in exchange for his fingers, but he also owed Garry three hundred thousand now.

Garry's eyes were murderous, but he kept smiling.

"I won four times, so you now owe me three hundred thousand. Pay up now!"
