Chapter 10 Mr. Right (Part Two)

"The boss is the boss, and I am just a common cleaner! We have nothing special to do with each other," Evelyn explained immediately.

'It's called hiding in plain sight!' the three secretaries thought together.

All of them believed that there was an invisible relationship between Evelyn and their boss.

"By the way, if you need me to do something, you can come to me! I'm more leisure than you."

If Evelyn wanted to enter the core group, she had to consolidate the foundation of the masses. Evelyn knew this well, so she planned to start from winning people's support.

Cathy Wei took out a report from the pile of documents on the desk and asked, "Can you help me send it to the Planning Department?"

"Sure. Who can I give it to?" Evelyn said.

"When you arrive at the Planning Department, you can find anyone you like. Tell them that it is the monthly report of last month and they will hand it over to the planning director."

After taking the document and making an "OK" gesture, Evelyn trotted to the elevator door.

After she left, Grace Liu and other two secretaries gathered together and whispered, "Cathy, why did you ask her to do that just now? If she is the..."

With a confident smile, Cathy Wei said, "Evelyn is just a graduate. As a new member of the society, she must be full of enthusiasm. If you don't let her do anything, she will feel uncomfortable all over her body. She even thinks that we don't want to establish a good colleague relationship with her."

Beth Chen was suddenly enlightened.

Grace Liu gave her a thumbs up and said, "Brilliant!"

The Planning Department was on eighth floor.

Originally, Evelyn wanted to ask Doris to hand over the document to their department director, Craig. However, she was stunned as soon as she entered the Planning Department.

Countless office glass walls were separated, and the inner wall was like a maze. When Evelyn walked around, she found that even the tea room was designed exactly the same!

Evelyn was on the verge of breaking down.

When Evelyn was at a loss for what to do with the documents, she suddenly bumped into a man with a cup of coffee in his hand.

In order to protect the documents, Evelyn subconsciously crossed her arms over her chest, and the coffee splashed on her apron.

"I'm sorry." The man's voice was like a heavy rain hitting a stone, powerful and warm.

He put the cup in his hand in time and took Evelyn aside to give her a tissue.

"Are you from the Logistics Department?" he asked.

Evelyn wiped the stains on her apron hard and her face was about to collapse. "Yes, I'm from the Logistics Department. If Mr. Song sees me like this again, I'll be done!"

The man didn't seem to hear what she was saying.

"Then why are you here in the Planning Department? It's not the right time to do cleaning," the man asked.

"Well, I..." Raising her head, Evelyn was surprised to find a handsome man standing in front of her!

The man was dressed in a straight and capable black suit, with wide shoulders, narrow waist, long legs, and a precious watch on his wrist. His ten fingers were clear and looked like scallion tubes.

His face was more attractive-dashing eyebrows, peach blossom eyes, thin lips, and the nose was high enough. His features were three-dimensional and exquisite.

"Well...I... I'm here to... In fact, I'm here to..." With a red face, Evelyn said, "I'm here to send some documents."

When Evelyn faced a handsome man, her heart would beat faster and she could not speak clearly.

"They said... As long as it was handed over to the people of the Planning Department. It is the monthly report," Evelyn said shyly.

"Okay. I see." The man took the A4 paper from her hand and said, "Thank you."

"You're welcome!" Evelyn shook her head with a silly smile.

The handsome man was about to leave. But his arm was grabbed by Evelyn.

"Anything else?" He frowned slightly.

"Well, I want to ask you, where is your department director, Craig?"

The man looked at Evelyn with a strange look for a few seconds, and finally reached out his hand to grab the golden token on his left chest.

There was a name neatly written on it-Craig.

"You... You... You, you are..."

Ignoring the exaggerated expression on Evelyn's face, Craig walked past her and left quickly.

"No wonder Doris said he is her Mr. Right! This man is so handsome!" Evelyn murmured.

'But he was still not as good as the boss!' With a serious look on her face, Evelyn analyzed the situation. 'Craig didn't look as picky as the boss, nor as imposing as the boss. Most importantly, boss is the one who gave me salary!' she wondered.

Byron, who was on a blind date in the teahouse, sneezed.

"Byron, do you catch a cold? Do you need to go to the hospital?" The beautiful woman in front of him looked worried.

"No, thanks." Byron took a sip of the tea, but his eyes were never fixed on the woman sitting in front of him.

The beauty pulled her white tassel shawl in disappointment.

She was speechless.

Byron's phone rang. He took it out and pressed the answer key, but he didn't see the injured look in the beauty's eyes.

"Something wrong with the contract? Where is the lawyer? He is not there? Okay, I'll go now."

After hanging up the phone, Byron took out a credit card from the inner pocket, picked up his suit jacket and called the waiter.

"Miss Cheng, I'll pay the bill. See you next time."

His words ended the blind date between the two. He didn't seem to want to explain why he left in a hurry to her. After paying the bill, Byron walked out of the tea house without looking back.

The beauty lowered her eyes, took out her phone and pressed the power button. When she was about to finish the last sip of the tea, she found that the tea was cold.
