Chapter 2 Deal

As the elevator doors opened, a towering figure emerged, commanding attention from all who saw him. Quin "Quin" Williams, CEO of Law firms, stood at an impressive 6'5" with a chiseled, athletic build that seemed to radiate power and confidence.

His tailored navy blue suit accentuated his broad shoulders and chest, while his crisp white shirt and silver tie added a touch of sophistication.

His dark hair was perfectly styled, and his piercing blue eyes seemed to scan the room with an air of authority. As he strode through the office, his long legs devoured the distance, his polished black shoes clicking on the marble floor.

His presence was like a magnet, drawing the gaze of everyone around him. Employees couldn't help but straighten up, smile, and greet him with a nod or a "good morning, Mr. Thompson." He returned their greetings with a warm smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners, but his gaze never lingering too long on any one person. Alex exuded an aura of quiet confidence, a sense of a man who knew he was in control and wouldn't let anyone or anything stand in his way. "Who's that?" He's cute, One of the new employee asked. "C'mon that's our boss Mr. Quin Willams, He is the youngest senior partner in the world and he has never lost a case.

The man is a legend. Another employee answered the question. "It's Quin Emily look" Lucy whispered while tapping me. Isn't he gorgeous and I heard he's single.

"Emily on the other hand trying to call her number with Lucy's phone. "Uhmmmn who did you say that was again?" She asked Lucy with her full concentration on Lucy's phone .

"Why does Mr. Quin have your phone Emily. Lucy asked looking straight into my eyes expecting a respond. "Uhmmm, I stammered, turning to see his face and was shocked to see my old school mate Quin". "Is he the CEO? She asked Emily looking shocked and confused.

"You left your phone in the bathroom, you should be more careful next time", Mr Quin said while placing my phone on my desk. Thanks

Mr. Quin I said while smiling at him leaving my coworkers dumbfounded and confused. "I saw you working on the draft for the copyright infringing case, looks promising. Why don't you come to my office we can discuss this in details.

"Mr Quin I think that's my case one of the coworkers quickly interrupted". "Your plan has no chance of winning, I'm giving the case to Emily, "but she's just a trainee she added again. "A trainee who knows what she's doing, she can build a winning case she will get promoted if we win the case. That's how things works around here, Mr. Quin said as he made is way to his office.

Emily stood up following Quin to his office with a smile on her face leaving Lucy and the employees confused and wonder in disbelief about what just happened. "Ohh Emily, Quin long time we finally meet again after school days.

He dragged Emily and hugged her in his office. "You remember", Emily asked looking straight into his eyes. "Of course I do", Quin said smiling back at her. "Look uhmmm, last night was an accident, I was very drunk and I'm not going to say a word , so you don't have to worry". Emily trying to explain her self.

"Marry me", Quin said. "You're kidding right? Because of what happened last night?" Emily said facing him looking straight to his eyes with anger.

"Look my grandmother is very sick, Okay? ,her last wish is to see me get married. So whatever your price is just name it. Five million? We can start with that".

"It's a very flattering offer but, I think i will pass. She said angrily while leaving Quin's office. Mr. Quin dragged her back. "Look I'm not gonna trade away my marriage so please just find somebody else. "There's only you", Quin said.

"How" "You are just my school mate and boss" she added while leaving his office.

Emily phone buzzed.

"Hello"

"It's Emily"

"What"

" I'm on my way"

She ran straight to the hospital where her mother was hospitalized. "Miss Emily Gabriel ", your mother's surgery can't wait any longer, her condition is getting worst. It's actually a miracle she's made it through out the last four years.

Right and how much is the medical bill going to be? Doctor. With everything ended up minus insurance would be about a hundred thousand dollars.

Emily left the hospital totally confused and broken.

"Hello"

Look I know it's been a while but I need some help

"Hey Linda look I need to borrow some money " her friend Linda hanged up the call on her without saying a word.

"Oh fuck she screamed out loud, all alone late at night in the street, she called different people but no responds, she cried her self out on the streets late that night.
