EPISODE TEN

LOUIS POV

Woah, that was weird. How can someone call without a reason. This girl is funny. I dropped my phone and returned to the bathroom. I received a text later saying everyone was to attend the prom party that there was an information that the school wants to pass across to us. Nooo, why??? I said to myself as I banged my fist on the wall. This school has ruined my plans. What if I didn't even have an outfit to wear. Why can't the information be loaded you us virtually. I scratched my hair as I checked my wardrobe to pick out what I would wear tomorrow. I looked at my reflection on the mirror. I have always had an handsome face, everyone in my family has that beauty. Hmm.....my family. I miss my mum but there's nothing I can' do for now.

THE NEXT DAY

AUTHOR'S POV

The parking lot of the school's event center was filled to it's brim with different exotic cars. Students could be seen all around on beautiful dresses. The hall was also filled up and the prom party was about to start.

LOUIS POV

I decided to go early, my plan was to attend and get the information I needed and leave. I got this the event center and was surprised by how crowded it was. I wasn't expecting everyone to come but it seems like no one wants to be left out. I entered the hall through the back door and say quietly in a corner. My eyes searched for Rose but I couldn't find out. I could see Susan with her ex boyfriend, James, looks like she couldn't get a date on time. I felt is since everyone has a date but it was solely my decision, there's no going back.

It was time for that introduction of the couples. My eyes suddenly caught the sight of Those. She was dressed in a black, shiny gown which hugged her body. The dress was slit you the thigh area and it also revealed a little cleavage. She was looking really hot and beautiful as she walked down the hall with a guy. Hold on. Rose has a date. I didn't even ask her who her date was. I looked closely at the guy, he's one of our classmates, Kelvin. I don't know why but I felt bitter looking at the guy holding Rose hand, I felt like pushing him away from her. I haven't felt like this before. I don't understand my feelings anymore. I stared at her briefly and our eyes met. She looked at me briefly and took her eyes away.

ROSE POV

Earlier...

After the "video call" with Louis, I knew that I couldn't bring myself to ask him about his date. It was just few hours to prom and it didn't seem like he was going to ask me out. I checked my WhatsApp and saw different messages from guys asking me to be their date. I was still scrolling, when I received another text. This one was from Kelvin, my classmate. He is a good friend of mine and also one of the most handsome in my class, though not as handsome as Louis, why am I even comparing? I checked the message, he was also asking me to be his date. Kelvin is a shy guy and for him to ask me out means that he is serious. I thought about and after playing around, I finally agreed.

I got to the venue and searched for Louis but I couldn't find him. When it was time for all couples to move to the center of the hall, I stood up with Kelvin and subconsciously, I could feel someone staring at me. I turned my head and saw Louis staring. I really wasn't expecting him to be here since he didn't seem interested. I didn't see any girl with him. Where's his date? I stared briefly at him and looked away. " You look so beautiful tonight Roseline" Kelvin whispered to me. I giggled and looked at him cutely. I turned to where Louis was but I couldn't find him again. Finally, it was Kelvin's and I turn to be introduced. I could feel all eyes on me, the hall suddenly became quiet as everyone started at it. I know we are both good looking, but this attention was just too much. As we both walked to our seats, I could hear whispers.

"Omg, they look so cute together"

"They are so hot'

"I thought her date would be Louis but Kelvin looks cute too."

KELVIN POV

I was so happy to hear people's comment about Rose and I. I have always loved Rose and it's my dream to date her but I am really wish to ask her to be my girlfriend. I have been on friendly terms and have gotten really close to her until Louis came. I have noticed that she likes being around him and seeing them together is so annoying. Louis is a cold hearted person and I believed he won't have feelings for Rose but just to confirm, I decided to behave affectionately to Rose in his presence. I whispered lovingly to her and when I checked where Louis was before, he wasn't there anymore. Did he just get jealous? I wasn't sure. I still need some more confirmations.

" You guys are looking really cute" , Vivian one of my classmates said as she approached I and Rose. Everyone knows she had a crush on Louis, and I am sure she is very happy that Rose and Louis are not together. " Thanks, you are not looking bad yourself" Rose answered. " So, are you and Kelvin dating or what" she asked. " Dating? Not at all. He's only my date for this prom party, he is not my boyfriend. " Rose answered. I don't know what I was expecting to hear but when Rose said that, I felt hurt. " You guys should date, then we can go on a double date , you and Kelvin, I and Louis." She said. " You and Louis? I asked. " Yes, I came to the party alone and Louis didn't have a date , so he asked me to be his prom date. Though we are not dating yet, we never can tell what might happen anytime soon" she went on. I looked at Rose but her face was so expressionless, I couldn't even read her.
