Chapter 7 Are You Here to Give Me a Ride

Hearing this, Frederick's face turned dark. He had already contacted the hotel manager on his way here.

The Lance Imperial Hotel was owned by him, and the manager had already prepared an all-purpose room card under his order.

In a minute, he, Julia, and the manager of the hotel arrived at the door of room 6318.

"All of you turn around!" he coldly ordered the other two.

He must be worried that something had happened.

Although Julia was dissatisfied with the fact that he was still worried about Sheryl, a bigger part of her was looking forward to the scene of the two committing adultery.

She couldn't see it, but could she hear it?

"Beep—" The door opened.

"Who is it?" The first sound out of the room was William's voice.

His voice was very close to the door.

How could they be so close to the door? Did they just do it at the door?

She wanted to watch the show, but immediately, William asked, "Frederick, what's the matter?"

His tone was as natural and casual as it could be.

He should not have reacted like this when he was caught committing adultery by the woman's fiance!

Julia quickly turned around, only to see William putting his arm against the door, dressed in a bathrobe.

Where was Sheryl?

She wasn't the only one who had this question, Frederick was thinking that as well.

"Where is Sheryl?" he turned around to ask Julia?

She was unable to answer and asked William instead, "Hey, where's Sheryl? Didn't you bring her into the room?"

He shrugged. "I haven't even seen her. How can I bring her in?"

"You—" She was furious and wanted to curse him for being useless.

However, she held back the words that she was about to say.

What she was facing right now were Frederick's inquiry and doubts.

She turned to Frederick Lance, lowered her head and said softly, "Frederick, don't be angry. I really saw it with my own eyes, believe me..."

He didn't believe her at all.

He slid out his cell phone from his trouser pocket and dialed Sheryl's number.

Her cell phone rang with a strong rhythm, it was ringing nearby and it was getting closer.

He looked up and saw Sheryl running towards him from the end of the corridor. She threw herself into his arms. "Hubby, it's really you. I saw you just now from a distance. Did you come here just to pick me up?"

Frederick: "..."

Did she just call him hubby?

He was a little surprised and looked at her in disbelief. He asked her, "You're drunk, aren't you?"

That was also mentioned in Julia's text.

She tilted her head and looked confused, "Who said I'm drunk? How can I be drunk when I only drank a little? If you don't believe me, you can ask me what does one plus one equal to, I'm sure I won't get it wrong!"

He snorted. He still felt that she was drunk. However, the worries and resentment that had been piled up in his heart had vanished without a trace.

When Julia saw this, she also quickly leaned over and asked, "Sheryl, where did you go just now? I'm so worried about you."

"Ah?" she blinked, "I told you I went to the bathroom, didn't I? Why are you worried?"

Julia's face turned red then white, it was incomparably disgusting.

She had originally intended to tell Frederick that she called him over because she was worried that an incident will happen, but what about now?

After hearing Sheryl's words, it seemed that she did it on purpose!

If someone's gaze could turn into a blade, her gaze would have long since turned into one that wanted nothing more than to kill Sheryl!

Although Sheryl's emotions were hidden at its surface, she'd clearly remembered the changes of expressions on Julia's face during that time.
