Chapter 5 What is She Planning to Do

She stood in front of the large mirror, fitting the reflection of her entire body.

She looked gorgeous in the mirror, with a good figure and all, but her clothes were exaggerated, heavy metal, and punk-like.

She didn't like this sort of outfit, but Julia Simons had told her that William Gates liked odd girls of that.

In reality, it was obvious that he certainly didn't like it.

Julia only wanted to make her look 'unsightly' as much as possible and enough to disgust Frederick Lance.

Julia didn't expect such an answer from her. After a long period of silence, she continued, "Sheryl, you've misunderstood. William's always been fond of you."

"You sure know him better than I do."

"No, no, that's not what I meant. Let's do it this way. There will be a classmate gathering tomorrow afternoon at five o'clock. It will be at the banquet hall on the second floor of Lance Imperial Hotel, and William will be there as well. You must come and meet him. This was the main reason I called you in the first place anyways."

"Okay," Sheryl said with a smile, "Is there anything else?"

"No..."

"See you tomorrow then."

Sheryl hung up the phone with a cold look in her eyes.

If she remembered correctly, she had been intoxicated by Julia during the classmate gathering in her previous life. Soon after, she asked William to send her to the hotel room to rest.

She was unconscious, but as soon as she woke up, she finds herself in a scenario where Frederick catches her in the act of committing adultery with William.

That incident sparked a huge conflict. If it hadn't been for the actions taken by the elders of the two families, the engagement would've surely be called off.

"Sheryl, I forgot to remind you yesterday that this is just an ordinary class reunion. Don't wear too formal clothes, just wear what you usually wear, I'm sure William will like it very much."

She only replied, "Okay."
