Chapter 7 Sing Only For Me

Killian's POV:

I had been knocking on the door for a long time, but I didn't hear any movements inside. It seemed no one wanted to open the door. I lost my patience, so I directly pushed it open.

Inside, I saw Nightingale, the singer who performed on the stage earlier. She still wore the light blue dress and the mask on her face. Her tall and slender figure was very eye-catching. Her fair skin glowed under the light.

Nightingale looked blankly at me. I noticed that her body was trembling. There was also a trace of panic in her voice when she asked, "What do you want?"

I had been staring at Nightingale for a long time, and this seemed to trouble her. She didn't even glance at me. Instead, she looked at Samuel and asked, "What do you want to discuss?"

Nightingale became wary. "Let me remind you that you are in the Crescent Club. I hope you don't get yourselves into trouble."

I enjoyed listening to her as she spoke. She was not singing now, but her voice was still as beautiful as fairy music. The restlessness that had been in my heart for a long time magically subsided.

Even my wolf, Willie, had become much quieter.

Take her away, Willie reminded me in my head. "We need her."

He was right.

We needed her.

For many years, I had been troubled by this madness almost every moment. I had to be always on guard in case I lost control in front of others. Fortunately, Samuel was always there for me. He had been trying his best to cover it for me.

I had been trying hard to find a way to restrain myself but to no avail. But this woman did it so easily. I didn't know how it happened.

She might be the cure I had been looking for. There was no harm in giving it a try, anyway.

Looking at Nightingale in front of me, I finally made up my mind. She was the one I needed.

No matter who she was, I must get her.

With this thought in my mind, I approached her step by step.
