Chapter 2 Humiliation

Nyla's POV:

I turned my head and looked at the door. Panic already surged in my heart. And I was even more terrified when I saw a group of people rushing in aggressively.

I fumbled with my broken clothes and put them on in a hurry, trying to cover the marks on my body.

It turned out that this group of people was led by the current Alpha of the Black Moon Pack, Robbin Cohen.

He glared at Killian and cursed angrily, "Killian, you bastard! Do you know what you're doing? I wondered why you suddenly disappeared at the banquet. Who would have thought you were here messing with an Omega? You are a disgrace to our Black Moon Pack!"

While he was scolding Killian, I ducked my head awkwardly and curled up my body, hoping they wouldn't notice my presence.

But the next second, I was pulled out of bed by a great force that made me fall to the floor.

Then a heavy slap landed on my face with a crisp sound. I felt the burning pain. I didn't need to look in the mirror to know that my face was red and swollen.

You bitch!

The sharp curse almost pierced my eardrums. "How dare you seduce Killian! Shame on you!"

I raised my head and found it was Alyssa Ortiz who slapped me. She was the daughter of the Beta of the Black Moon Pack. Everyone in the pack considered her as the perfect match for Killian. At this moment, her face was distorted with anger.

I lowered my head again and covered my aching face with my hand. My ears were still buzzing from the slap. But I didn't dare to fight back at all.

She was so angry that she could kill me.

I looked at Killian stealthily. I was scared, but I still held a glimmer of hope in my heart.

I wished he would speak for me.

I was very much aware of my low status. But even if he didn't want to recognize me as his mate because I belonged to the lowest members of the pack, what happened last night was proof that I was his mate. Otherwise, why did he rape me?

But much to my dismay, Killian didn't even look at me. He was also in a rage. He said coldly, "Something was wrong with my wine last night. Someone must have put a drug in it."

His wine was drugged?

I was so stunned that I froze for a moment.

All the wine at the banquet was prepared by this bitch. She must have set you up, so she could climb into your bed, Alyssa said fiercely, pointing at me.

After saying this, he turned around and left.

Killian didn't stop his father. He just turned and glared at me. His gaze was so sharp that I felt like it pierced my body. If only stares could kill, I would have died on the spot.

I was so frightened by his gaze that I kept retreating until my back was pressed against the cold wall. I had nowhere else to go, so I could only lower my head helplessly.

I waited for his punishment. I really thought he would beat me up.

But the next thing I heard was the sound of footsteps. I raised my head cautiously, only to see Killian's angry receding back.

He actually left just like that?

When Alyssa saw Killian leaving, she gave me a fiery glare and hurriedly followed him. Somehow, I breathed a sigh of relief.

I struggled to get up from the floor. The other werewolves didn't leave yet. They all watched me with disdain, pointing their fingers at me.

I ignored their disgusting mockery. These werewolves didn't know the real me, so I no longer cared about what they would say. I endured the pain, limped back to my room, and threw myself into the bathtub.

The blotchy marks were very visible on my naked body. I was so disgusted by them that I rubbed my skin vigorously. It was as if I could erase them this way.

I accidentally lost my virginity, my mate disliked me, and I was accused of setting Killian up. Whoever experienced this would really cry to death. This was what I felt right now. I wanted to cry regardless of anything.

But no matter what, life must go on. My mother was seriously ill in the hospital. She was still waiting for me, so I couldn't give up.

I took a deep breath to calm myself down. Then I got up from the bathtub, got dressed, and prepared to leave. But before I could go out, the door of my room was kicked open.

I turned around in horror, only to see Alyssa's angry face.

She shouted, "Catch this bitch!"

The werewolves behind her rushed inside, swarmed to me, and pressed me down to the floor.

I struggled hard to break free, but there were too many of them.

I could only scream, "What do you want from me?"

Alyssa looked at me condescendingly with disgust written all over her face. "I am just following the Alpha's order. You tricked the future Alpha into sleeping with you. You have committed a serious crime. We are here to drive you out of the pack. From now on, you and your mother are no longer members of the Black Moon Pack. Get out of here!"

Alyssa's words came like a bolt from the blue. How could they drive my mother and me out of the pack just like that?

I was so stunned that I froze for a while.

No, I couldn't let this happen. My mother was critically ill. She couldn't be taken out of the hospital. If we became rogues, she would die.

Who else could help us?

At this moment of despair, all I could think of was Killian. He was my mate and the Alpha's son. As long as he interceded and was willing to plead for me, my mother and I could stay in the pack.

At the thought of this, I raised my head and said, "Where is Killian? Take me to him. I have something important to tell him."

Seriously? After setting him up, you still have the nerve to see him? Do you really think you matter to him? Dream on! Alyssa sneered. She looked down at me and added, "It will never happen. Killian doesn't want to see you ever again. In fact, he wants you to disappear right away."

I was dumbfounded. For a moment, I couldn't think of a word to say.

Killian was my mate. We had proven it last night.

How could he be so cruel to me? How could he abandon me just like that?

There was no way he didn't sense our clear mate bond last night.

But no one listened to my cries. I was still pulled to the door of the pack house.

At this moment, a car drove over.

I recognized it was Killian's car.
