Chapter 4 Escape Into A Nightclub

Nyla's POV:

Indeed, I was pregnant.

I didn't know if fate was playing a joke on me.

Killian kicked me out of the pack and caused my mother's death. Then I became a rogue. But I was carrying his child?

I didn't even have a place to go. How could I raise this child? Should I keep it or get rid of it?

This dilemma gave me a headache. I was at a loss, not knowing what to do. But after thinking about it for a long time, I finally decided to keep the child.

I realized that this child was my last family in this world. Besides, no matter what, this child was innocent and my responsibility. I must be responsible, just like what my mother did to me.

Unexpectedly, the child in my belly gave me hope. I was no longer as desperate as before.

Since I had a new inspiration, I started looking for a job. I had to earn money to support myself and my child.

While I was walking along the street, someone called my name from behind.

Nyla Higgins!

I looked back in confusion. Then I saw three male werewolves approaching me.

I recognized them. They were from the Black Moon Pack.

I was no longer a member of the Black Moon Pack. They shouldn't pay attention to me anymore. But why did they suddenly surround me?

I found it strange, and I thought something must be wrong.

At the thought of this, I stepped back vigilantly.

The werewolf leading the group wore a disgusting smile. He said frivolously, "Hey, it's really you. You were kicked out of the pack after you seduced Killian, right? What are you doing here?"

The other two werewolves also wore obscene smiles on their faces. One said, "How about having fun with us? We also want to taste the she-wolf that Killian fucked."

As they approached, the memory of that terrible night flashed in my mind. I was once again reminded of the incident that I had long wanted to forget.

I lost control of my temper. I screamed, "Fuck off! You all get out of my sight!"

I had never raised my voice this loud before. For some unknown reason, they suddenly froze for a moment.

Seeing that they were stunned, I took this opportunity to rush out of their encirclement and ran forward desperately.

Without looking back, I continued running at the fastest speed I could. This was the first time I ran this fast.

Before I knew it, I already broke into a nightclub full of werewolves. The flickering lights dazzled my eyes, and the loud music pierced my ears, making me come back to my senses and realize where I was.

My eyes felt uncomfortable, so I squinted. I looked around and struggled to squeeze in the crowd, enduring the loud screams of the werewolves behind me that hurt my ears.

Help! Please help me! Someone is chasing me. Help me!

I shouted for help, but the crowd dispersed.

Obviously, they didn't want to get themselves into trouble. Besides, who would be willing to help a strange and homeless female rogue?

I didn't dare to stop running, finding a way out.

But my heart sank to the bottom when I found that I had already reached the dead end.

I was so startled that I wanted to turn back. But it was too late. They had caught up with me.

The leader grabbed my shoulder and pushed me hard. I felt a dull pain when my shoulder hit the wall. I grimaced.

Damn you! How dare you run away from us! He glared at me and added angrily, "Since you gave us a hard time catching you, I'll fuck you to death here today as punishment."

As soon as he said this, the three pounced on me and began tearing off my clothes. Their dirty hands touched my skin.

Don't touch me! No! Let go of me! Help! Help me!

I struggled frantically and cried for help desperately.

Would someone come to help me? I prayed hard that there would be.

My hands and feet kept moving, trying to break free from these werewolves. In a panic, my fingers seemed to touch a cold object.

It seemed like... A wine bottle!

I grabbed it without hesitation and smashed it with all my strength.

The sharp fragments flew out and cut my palm.

But I endured the pain. My main goal now was to escape from these werewolves. I waved the broken bottle at them. They still stared at me with covetous eyes, but they dodged my attack and retreated.

Using this broken wine bottle as a weapon against them was not enough. I knew I couldn't stop them that easily. And this fact made me feel sad and desperate.

It seemed my only choice was to accept that I was destined to die here tonight. But I would never let myself die in the hands of these werewolves. At the thought of this, the broken bottle in my hand slowly raised to my throat.

If they didn't stop attacking me, I was ready to end my and my baby's lives.

I was about to make a move when the leader of the werewolves suddenly stopped. The other two also backed away.

Their reactions stunned me. I didn't understand why they seemed scared. I raised my head only to find out that I was surrounded by a group of strange rogues.

Their leader was a beautiful she-wolf. There was also a tall, young werewolf beside her. The two looked a little similar.

This place is called the Crescent Club, the territory of rogues, said the she-wolf slowly. Her voice sounded elegant but formidable. "Please stop making trouble and leave now."

Although the werewolves of the Black Moon Pack seemed a little afraid of her, the leader still pretended to be brave. "How dare you stop the members of the Black Moon Pack!"

Fuck off! roared the young werewolf.

The werewolves of the Black Moon Pack trembled in fear. But the leader still said resentfully, "How dare you go against the Black Moon Pack! We will go back and report this to our Alpha. You wait and see!"

They fixed their eyes on me. Obviously, they were unwilling to give up. But they had no choice but to retreat slowly.

I breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, it was over.

After realizing that the crisis was solved, I suddenly felt exhausted. My legs went weak, and I began falling.

Fortunately, a pair of firm and powerful hands supported me in time.

But because I was too exhausted, everything went black, and I passed out before I could even thank my savior.
