Chapter 9 Desperate Situations, Desperate Measures

Gift continued to see Desmond. She was getting addicted to having sex with him and the thrilling thing about it all was that she felt her actions may be condemned by many who would feel that she was not supposed to have any intimate relations with her ex's friend but she was having a great time enjoying fabulous sex with Desmond and if it was seen as forbidden, then she did not care.

She kept visiting Desmond and sleeping with him.

Desmond was not the only man she was having an affair with. She had numerous lovers.

she had wanted to stop herself having so many male 'friends' but she found that she only had to like the looks of the person and she would immediately start feeling hot between her thighs and such heat had to be cooled and what better way to do that but to sleep with the object of her desire.

Most often than not, the men are unable to resist her because of her youth and captivating beauty. And why resist? They often asked themselves when they also desired what she was offering and did not have to work too hard to get it.

Among them all though, Desmond was the most regular.

Gift remembered how this uncontrollable sex drive began.

She had long tired of Sam her suitor cum lover. But because of his diabolic ways, she had had to stay with him reluctantly as she desperately devised a means to get free of him because she knew she could never consent to marrying him. It would be like locking herself up in a prison for the rest of her life.

She also did not want to involve her parents because she had feared endangering their lives.

So, she got help from a very good friend of hers who introduced her to an old man who was vast in his knowledge of subduing and controlling dark powers.

And he told her that he would free her from the clutches of Sam but there was a price she had to pay.

'What is it, wise one', she asked. 'Tell me and I will pay and even if I don't have the money for it, I can borrow from my friends. I just want to be free of this relationship with no risk to myself or my loved ones', she pleaded.

'Don't worry my daughter. The price is something you can afford if your freedom is important to you'.

'Okay. How much is it?', she asked again.

'The payment is not monetary', he intimated.

'It's not?

'It's not'.

'Then what is it?' she was starting to get suspicious but she refused to accept what she was intuiting.

'It is a very small price to pay. Just sleep with me', he said.

Gift had felt like her whole world had come to a stop. Her worst nightmare was staring her in the face. How could she allow this ancient man touch her intimately? Did she really want her freedom that much?

'Think carefully before you refuse because if you leave here, I will not have you back here for any price.

Gift remembered what he'll she had been enduring with Sam and going back to the same hell when she could do something about it was unthinkable but it was also unimaginable being in a close embrace with this dirty old man.

It was really a dilemma and she was not sure there was another way out and she did not want to miss the opportunity to cut ties with that demon Sam.

'I accept', she said.

'Wise choice' he said.

After it all, she found out that it was not really bad at all. She had actually enjoyed herself. The man must also be wise in the act of satisfying his women.

She cleaned herself up, took the portion the man offered her and left.

Gift applied the portion exactly the way the man had asked of her and prepared herself to wait and see the effect of the portion.

Sam started acting strangely towards her. If she hadn't known better, she would say he was afraid of her but it was not possible or was it?

After two days of this strange behaviour and nights when he refused touching her but glued himself to his side of the bed, Gift was sure it was the handiwork of the portion the old man had given her.

She felt that the time had come for her to grab the opportunity and leave this enslavement which was her relationship with Sam.

She woke him the second night and was surprised at the way he woke with a jerk.

'What is it now?', he asked.

'I want to talk to you', she said.

'At this time of night? Your timing is impeccable', he said sarcastically.

'We are not working', she began boldly.

She felt if she could endure a night of passion with a dirty old witch doctor, she could face anything.

'We are not?', he asked not comprehending what she was driving at.

'We are not and I want out', she said.

'And what have you been waiting for? Why are you still here?', he queried.

'Sam I am serious. I am calling it quits with you'. she said.

'And I have never been more serious in my whole life. You are welcome to leave. After all, we are not married yet, so there is no case of a divorce'. he said.

It was almost like a dream. She could not believe that she had her freedom back.

The next day, while he was in his business place, Gift packed all she owned and went back to living with her parents.

Her parents' disapproval of her actions and continued animosity towards her caused her to go live with a friend of hers who was living alone. A girl of easy morals and like the saying goes, 'birds of a feather flock together'.

Gift was already acquiring a taste for free, uninhibited sex and living with her kind of roommate, she found that she had lost control and didn't even want to control her perpetual urge for sex.

She had even gone on several occasions to the 'dirty old witch doctor's for sexual gratification.

It was as bad as that.

Her parents tried to talk to her and remind her that she was from a good and moral family and her actions were causing them shame.

They could not lift their heads up anymore.

She promised to behave better which was the same promise she had made them on many other ocassions like this one but continued with her promiscuous life like her parents knew she would.

Her parents became old with grief. Their consolation was the joy, they got from the behaviours of the other children they had.

Since then Gift had lost every sense of propriety. Her life mission seem to be to get laid any time she so desired it.

She came back to the present and remembered that she wanted to pay Desmond a surprise visit.

She grew wet anticipating her night with him. He always had that effect on her.

was the seeming forbidden nature of their relationship or was it something else? Perhaps chemistry?

In any case, she just didn't care as long as he continues to see and satisfy her.
