Chapter 5 A Steaming Relationship

Both Felix and Gift continued their studies in the college.

Felix felt like he and Gift were one. His feelings for her gradually increased. He found he had fallen in love with her. It was incredible and he had tried to deny it, not wanting to accept it but he could not lie to himself any longer. He was indeed in love with Gift and would not trade her for anyone or anything.

In his class, Felix had two girls who always fought each other for sole right over him. In his place of worship , where he was a chorister, many beautiful choristers threw themselves at him and because of his background, he had found it difficult to resist having flings one night stands or secret affairs with them and though he loved Gift dearly, he could not stop his sextual dealings with them. He felt he would gradually let them all go and concentrate his efforts only on Gift. 'Baby steps', he told himself trying to justify his infidelity. He made sure all his sexual partners were never in doubt about the person who had his heart. He would tell them that they had no future with him because the one he loved and would get married to was no other than Gift.

Whenever he was with Gift,he paid no attention to other girls. In fact he acts as though he did not know them and whenever he was with any of the other girls and Gift came visiting, he sends them off through the back door so there is no clash. On some ocassions when Gift met any of the girls whose misfortune it was to be with Felix at such time, they are always shocked to see her exercise her right over him by hitting him with something hard, daring the girls to stick around and predictably the girls always ran away leaving Felix to his fate.

The fear of Gift built up in these Girls. Younger girls could not dare her and would only come near Felix when Gift was not around.and older girls and ladies tried respecting themselves and not degrade themselves for Gift to insultbut they, one in particular, Favour Igwe would tell Felix that he was insulting her by being with Gift.' Aferall, I met you first. It's not that I snatched you from her'. But that was not the way love worked. It was no respected of persons , position or time. Felix wished he could explain it to her but it was no use, she may not understand.

So Felix would ask those not comfortable with his relationship with Gift to end their relationship with him because he would not give Gift up. As expected, they never left because as well as being very handsome, Felix treats them well and to crown it all he was a great lover having had his training from women far older than he. As young as he was, he never forego fire play. He loved kissing alot and his kisses alone was enough to elicited a passionate response from his partner. He proceeds to the ear lobes, down to the throat, then trails down to the breast. The nipples could never complain about the effectiveness and efficiency of his ministerations on them as they often grow harder than rocks as their owner is pleasured. He takes his ministerations lower, his tools being his hands and his tongue. Before he even inserts his finger into his partner, they are dripping wet, ready for his penetration. He either forcefully and savagely enters her orgently as the whim takes him but also in accordance with the preference of his partner.

Either way, the experience is always a wonderful and unforgettable experience for his partners that they can't seem to get enough of him no matter that they had to play second fiddle to Gift in his life.

Things continued this way untill Felix started writing his final exams in readiness for the university. He could no longer afford spending much time with his women but it did not matter to him.

The person whose opinion mattered to him was Gift and he felt she would understand having discussed this at lent before now. He had also asked his parents to go to Gift' s parents and make formal introduction as their future in laws. All this had been done two years previously. So it was a given that they w ould get married. Midway through his exams, Felix started hearing or getting wind of some incredible rumours of Gift' s escapades. He would not believe it. The other girls must be getting desperate and are spreading these rumours to effect a break up between him and Gift. When his friends started reporting these same things to him, he at first thought they were just showing off their envy but when it didn't stop, his concentration started suffering.

He had to find out if it was true so that he could be at peace and concentrate on his exams. A friend of his had asked him to lye in wait at a particular spot. So one evening he did just that and not long after that, Gift came along, he waited to see where she would go and was surprised to see her enter a place where he knew she had no relation living. He still gave her benefit of doubt. She must have gone in there because she was running errands for her parents, he reasoned. After a while she came out but not alone. She was in the company of the man who owned the house she had entered and he was holding her in a tight embrace. Felix could not believe it. Gift never allowed any man to hold her, say nothing of a tight embrace.

Something was terribly wrong. He followed behind them until close to Gift's house the man gave her a goodbye kiss and turned to go back home. Felix barely controlled himself. He was consumed with jealous rage but he reasoned that his quarrel was not with the man, though he dared to hold his fiancee intimately.

He stole a look at the man and his suspicion was confirmed. The man was none other than Samuel, the village drug seller. He sold all kinds of medicals in his shop. He was a short stout man. Very ugly and dark in complexion. He could not believe Gift would allow someone such as he to touch her intimately. Before Gift could step into her compound, Felix draged her back.

first she was shocked to see him but she recovered very fast.' What are you doing here at this unholy hour? Are you not supposed to be studying for your exams? She asked. 'I could ask the same of you. Where are coming from at this late hour and who was that I saw with you?' Felix asked. ' Oh that was Sam my brother's friend. I went to give him something from my brother,.'she lied ' Your brother sends you to him every night and asked him to hold and touch you intimately?' Felix asked. What are you insinuating? 'Nothing except that I have heard alot of rumours about you. I had asked you previously but you denied it and I believed you but I just confirmed that all the rumours are true. What have you to say for yourself? Or did you forget that we are engaged to marry?' Felix asked the pain evident in his voice. ' Yes, I am having an affair with him. Whatever you heard that I am doing and however you heard that I now act, is exactly what I am doing and how I am acting. What will you do?'
