Chapter 7 Wu jin

The kingdom of the Nagari wolves packs stood still with a serene tranquility that seems unusual for that time of the day, the sunlight filtered in from the patches of in the tree canopies that where branches that were undermined by termites broke off and fell down to the forest floor.

A little footpath weaved it's way into the woods along which a figure strolled rather lazily than normal.

With a cloak covering his face he walks slowly twirling a piece of branch in his hands, the figure soon arrive at a fork where the road divided into two as another figure approached him from one of the roads.

"Hey Eric, long time since we last saw each other" The later asked the first.

"It's been a real long time brother Wallis " The former named Eric answered as he paused and continued. "Ever since Wu Jin the man from the East took over authority of the wolf pack, I have been in hiding; you know am die-hardly loyal to the late Alpha".

"is that why a highranking beta now moves about in disguise" Wallis asked sarcastically.

"You of all people should know the reason why I had to live a life of disguise than compromise my devotion" Eric answered him in a subtle voice. "Or have you forgotten the story of our take-over, or are you just trying to justify your actions of lately".

"Remind of that event once again brother,you know you are a good storyteller just like your father" Wallis said with a smile on his face.

Both men walked slowly in my unison heading towards the extreme of the woods.

Two figures stood atop a high Mountain overlooking a deserted seashore,a man staggered out from the sea with his clothes torn in various places flopping himself down on the sand exhausted and weak.

The two figures swooped down and in minutes stood before the weak man who had already fallen unconscious, glancing over towards the sea that watched as debris and pieces of broken chests and ship planks floated onto the shore.

"What do we do with him now" One of the figure asked the second.

"We take him in first,then when he is in we think about what to do with him" the second replied as he lifted the body to his shoulder and speeds off heading away from the beach.

The sun rays filtered in from the open window shining directly over the figure who laid on the bed, as he turned over drawing the silk curtain partially blocking the sun rays.

He quickly sat up as the door open as two men walked into the room.

"How are you doing" One of the figures dressed in royal purple asked him with a low voice.

"I am doing well, where am i" The man lying on the bed asked curiously with fear inlaid in his voice.

"Fear not" The purple cladded figure said sensing his fears. "You are in the land of the wolves,the Nagari wolf pack to be precise and I am the Alpha".

"How did I get here, because the last I remember is the storm that threw us into the sea" The man spoke out once again.

"Worry not,sleep and have some rest; once you are hall again then we talk" The purple cladded figure who was the Alpha assured him as they took their leave shutting the door behind them, leaving the man as bewildered as he was when he woke up.

Outside the room the Alpha and his aide took a stroll in the beautiful garden scenting great and gay with flowers.

"What is your say on what I have decided to do with the man from the sea?" The Alpha said.

"I think when he is healthy, we will send him on his way. I sense an evil foreboding about him which I can fathom why it's revolving around him" His aide spoke out slowly like he was being forced to say it out.

"Why do you say do Eric?" The Alpha said.

"I had a dream two days ago where an unknown man killed you and enslaved us,I felt the same way I felt when I and that dream" Eric explained.

"But to me its just a mere dream dearest Eric, but I will do as you have said; once he is well he shall be sent in his way" The Alpha gently assured him.

" I believe your sound judgement my Lord" Eric replied him with smiles over his face. "Least I forget,when was the last time we sparred; I think we should probably try it out again".

"Hahahaha Eric,you haven't beaten me once but you keep trying to beat me in the Arena, come off it brother" The Alpha said laughing at Eric who just smiled at him.

"Come on my Lord,let's do it this way; I win, you let me lead the warrior wolves to war against the Lycans and I lose you lead them" Eric proposed.

"Considered it down Eric" The Alpha said accepting the duel as they walked further into the garden.
