Chapter 5 Friends Close, Enemies Closer Still

Meanwhile far away in that forest...

The fact that the whole situation had served to help Mike get Trevan's approval only made Luke angrier.

Luke had no idea why he was behaving this way, but with the alpha Dilan looking at him like that he had no choice but to let it go.

Luke turns to follow Hellen and Mike into the school but before he can enter alpha Dilan says:

"Our agreement was for you to spend some time here to learn our methods, I hope then that you will keep your wolf under control"

Luke just nods his head in agreement and enters the school followed by Diego the Beto and Raquel

Raquel who had barely taken a breath during Hellen and Luke's fight couldn't wait to find Vanessa to let her know the facts, for Luke's reaction was very strange to say the least even for na inattentive girl like her.

Luke turns to Rachel and says:

"Go after Vanessa and tell her we're in," and heads to the front office to pick up his schedule accompanied by a giggling Beto and a perplexed Diego.

When he gets to the door na idea pops into his mind and he puts it into practice before even thinking about the consequences.

Seeing that the secretary was also a werewolf he smiles satisfied and uses one of his gifts, courtesy of being the most powerful being among werewolves, he employs his alpha tone and says:

"I am Prince Luke, and you will give me the same schedule as the alpha's daughter, for that matter for me and the boys here Beto and Diego, and you will make sure that the girls who came with me have totally different schedules if possible in rooms on opposite sides, and if the alpha's daughter tries to change the schedule you will not allow it, and after complying with all my instructions you will forget that you received this order," as soon as he finishes the secretary leaves and starts typing on the computer.

Her alpha tone had such power over other wolves especially those who didn't have alpha blood as was the case with the secretary.

Beto is now completely stunned, he couldn't believe that Luke had ordered Vanessa to be put in classes different from theirs, they were so clingy that they seemed to be one in the same.

Diego looks at his brother amused, and a suspicion is forming in his mind, but he can't let Luke get suspicious or it might spoil the Moon Goddess' plans. And if all goes well they will finally be rid of Vanessa.

When he turns around and faces the expressions of Diego and Beto, Luke hastens to say:

"What? Haven't you heard the saying, friends close, enemies closer still"

The secretary returns with the schedules, just as Vanessa and the girls enter the room .

Vanessa is not at all happy to see that her schedule was totally different from Luke's, but the secretary to Luke's relief refused to change it.

Vanessa is intrigued by what Rachel has told her, and wants to find out why Luke is acting this way, and even more so who is the girl who has driven him crazy.

Meanwhile, Hellen enters the classroom, Mike kisses her on the cheek and leaves for his class.

Hellen sits at the back of the class next to her best friend Gloria, who looks at her with a smile on her face and says:

" It's okay, it's okay, it's over, and the whole school is talking about your duel with the crown prince, and everyone thinks it was a draw, so you actually did pretty good"

Hellen loved Gloria as if she were her sister, in fact Silvia Gloria's mother was a kind of mother to her.

Although the two are apparently very different, because Gloria is the straight and studious type, and no matter how much Hellen insisted, she always dressed in loose and comfortable clothes giving her a sloppy look, but she was beautiful, with her big body and full blonde hair, the two are inseparable.

Hellen shows her middle finger to Gloria, who smiles even more.

And that's when the mood in the room gets heavy, Hellen raises her eyes and in the doorway are standing the arrogant Prince Luke and his squires, who she still didn't know the name.

When her eyes meet Luke's she quickly looks away and snorts for all to hear:

"I must have offended the moon goddess, I can only"

Gloria laughs out loud and nudges her saying:

"Há you can't deny they are a sight for sore eyes".

Hellen disguisedly looks in the direction of the group at the door, and really couldn't deny that they were beautiful especially the idiot Luke, but she wouldn't admit that at all, so she decides to ignore her friend's line.

Brat's reaction leaves Luke disappointed, and again he can't understand her reactions.

He heads to the back and sits down right behind Hellen with the boys taking the seats next to him.

Beto gets up and stops next to Gloria and Hellen and says:

"Hi I am Roberto , but everyone calls me Beto and I am the future royal Gamma of the damned" he says with amusement.

Gloria falls into laughter, and Diego is fascinated by the sound, although she is not his type, he prefers girls like the alpha's daughter.

Hellen can't help a smile, and says extending her hand:

"Pleasure I am Hellen", Beto shakes her hand and the sympathy seems to be mutual

"I'm Gloria, her best friend," says Gloria also extending her hand.

Diego takes the chance and introduces himself as well, waving his hand to both of them at the same time saying:

" Well and I am Diego the Beta"

Hellen turns her attention back to her cell phone as if there were only the two boys there.

Luke smiles wryly, for she could pretend all she wanted, but her heartbeat showed how affected she was and Luke liked that.
