Chapter 2 Get a grip girl

Luke couldn't

believe that he had let his father talk him into spending a year in that end of

the world, this was all because their alpha was doing a great job and his father

thought that he as a future Alpha king would benefit by learning from the alpha

Dilan of the red moon gang , not that his father could make him do anything,

because ever since he first transformed at the age of eight it was clear that

he would be much stronger than his father and older brother, but Luke couldn't

say no to his father lately as he was seriously ill.

"Haa go cheer up

your mate might be there" says Diego his brother and future Beta

Luke quickly looks

at Vanessa, but she still seems to be sleeping.

"Oh sure, I just

sleep with all the girls in the gang and if I'm lucky one of them is the

promised one" , he answers wryly , "by any chance has that worked for you?" he

asks his brother, for although people believed he was cursed, it was not true,

for all male descendants of the first Alpha king had the same condition, they

only suffered the mate bond with closer contact.

"Not really, more I

have fun trying," Diego replies and Luke can't repress a smile

"For me daddy was

the luckiest to find mommy and her to be his mate" says Luke

"Maybe he is right and we are somehow attracted to our

mates, look at dad, he says he couldn't help it even though he was dating

someone else, and Uncle Beto said he hated Aunt Silvia so much that he only

slept with her to get revenge and that she was his mate"

"The only person

that attracted me in this life was Vanessa and we already know that she is not

my mate" Luke says once again checking if his girlfriend is still asleep.

Diego rolls his

eyes, it's no secret that he doesn't like Vanessa.

Luke loves and

respects his brother and values his Beta bond, but he doesn't agree with him

about Vanessa, Diego says that Vanessa is fake and deceitful, and has me in her

hands playing the role of a shy and demure girl when in fact she's the devil on

earth, According to him, all the accidents that happened to girls who got too

close to me were the work of Vanessa and her best friends Tiffany and Rachel,

but for Luke the brother was prejudiced because Vanessa was a hybrid, half wolf

and half vampire, and vampires and werewolves do not have a very good track

record.

To Luke Vanessa was

exactly the sweet, shy girl she seemed to be, and he was glad he hadn't found

his mate if he could make Vanessa his queen instead .

"Are we there yet?"

asks Beto my best friend and Gama, who shares Diego's opinion about Vanessa and

her friends.

"No Donkey" says

Diego laughing at his own joke.

There are six of us

in all, my father wanted me to leave Vanessa in the kingdom, but she refused to

stay, and so I had no choice but to let her friends come along too.

The Van's headlight

illuminates a sign that reads " Welcome to Forks population of three thousand

five hundred and forty-five."

"Finally," says

Beto.

The driver who had

picked them up at the Seattle airport said:

"Welcome to Forks"

And headed for the house next door to the alpha's that had been meant for them

to stay .

To Luke's surprise

there was no one waiting for them, which makes him happy.

As he gets out of

the car a shiver runs down his spine and his wolf Tron stirs.

"What was that,

buddy?" asks Luke to Tron but gets only silence in response.

Taking Vanessa on

his lap he enters the house and puts her in the room she will share with her

friends, it's not that they didn't sleep together but Tron was territorial, and

didn't like sleeping with Vanessa in the same bed.

The house had four

bedrooms with individual bathrooms, so he and the boys would take one room each

and the girls shared one.

Luke lies in bed

thinking about the Companion that he probably won't find, but he believes that

she would be like Vanessa, sweet, shy and quiet.

The next morning the

alpha Dilan and his son Trevan come to welcome the group.

Luke is happy to see

that the two cars and the motorcycle they brought with them are already parked

in front of the house. After a quick conversation with alpha Dilan, Luke can

already see that the guy is really special, always putting the welfare of the

group first.

Now he Vanessa and

her friends are heading to the school, the boys are right behind in the other

car, Luke makes a face when a red BMW convertible passes them , who would drive

such a car in that end of the world.

Vanessa sitting next

to Luke thinks that she should have stayed in the kingdom, from the

conversation she overheard yesterday between Luke and that idiot Diego made it

clear that she didn't run the risk of Luke going around looking for that

Companion, it had been a lot of work pretending all the time to be this girl

without salt to win him over, and now he was getting closer and closer to mark

her as his companion, if it wasn't for his wolf that was also making things

difficult this would have already happened, but now looking at this end of the

world, she can't help but regret for having come along.

Meanwhile Hellen arrives at the school just in time to wish

good luck to Mike, who was going to take the test to be a warrior of the gang,

if he passed he would start training with the elite and who knows this way his

father and Trevan would stop picking on him.

"Hey there kitty,"

says Mike kissing Hellen's cheek who smiles at the gesture .

"Hi , look Mike

about the other night..." starts Hellen

"Relax kitten, next

time maybe we'll have better luck" says Mike winking at her and wrapping his

waist with one hand and asks, "but we are together aren't we?"

"Yes we are," Hellen

replies decisively.

At that moment

someone bumps into her and if it hadn't been for Mike holding her, she would

have fallen.

She turns to see who

was the rude stray when her eye makes contact with a beautiful boy, he was

tall, strong, with blond hair and blue eyes that Ellen didn't know it was

possible to have eyes that color, but his face showed disgust, and a certain

anger.

He just walks by as

if she was nothing and he hadn't just almost thrown her to the ground.

"Hey rude, where did

you come from they didn't teach you to apologize when you bump into people"

says Hellen as she is not used to being ignored.

A girl who seemed to

be his friend said:

"Touch yourself

girl, you are talking to Prince Luke Didion".

But Hellen is not

intimidated and says:

"Oh, now I get it,

it's the cursed one" and she turns to Mike, who stares at her.
