Chapter 3 Opposite sides  

Diego observes the

scene intrigued as well as Beto, what could have happened to Luke is the

question they ask themselves, they were standing there talking about how it

would be better to be distributed in different classes, so they could have na

overview of how things worked over there, when they realized that Luke was

focused on the conversation of a couple a little ahead, The girl was beautiful

but not Luke's style, she was the typical popular girl, everyone who passed by

greeted her, and although she didn't dress vulgarly it was obvious that she

dressed to call attention, her long dark hair fell almost to her waist.

It wasn't that Luke

was incapable of seeing the beauty of the girl, but it so happens that about

three years ago his best friend discovered that the popular girl at school was

his partner, at first the girl seemed to be happy, but shortly after they had

made up their minds she ran away with a human, a famous American soccer player,

in the letter she left him she said things like she wanted her freedom, and to

know the world, this broke Joshua up and he killed himself shortly after. And

this transformed Luke, who started to have na aversion for that kind of girl.

But to Diego and Beto's surprise he didn't take his eyes off

the girl in front of him, only that at the moment that the guy hugged her and

the girl confirmed that they were going out together Luke had a kind of

outburst because he passed by the girl like a tractor almost throwing her to

the ground.

Beto stifles

laughter as he hears the girl's response to Raquel one of Vanessa's

insufferable friends , unfortunately Vanessa had gone to the bathroom with

Tiffany her other insufferable friend or this scene would get much more

interesting, but the girl calling Luke cursed in front of him was the highlight

of the week for Beto who was doing everything not to fall in laughter, this

showed that either the girl was dumb or brave, but no matter which one she was

Beto was already her fan.

"What's gotten into

you," Luke asks Tron

"I don't know, all I

know is that guy touching the girl is pissing me off" replies Tron

Luke turns around

and looks at the girl who just called him cursed. And he can't deny that she

was beautiful, but if there was na embodiment of the true preppy girl , it was

that one right now, and Luke hated girls like that.

"What did you say?"

asks Luke to Hellen

By now they have

caught the attention of the whole school who is watching them to find out what

is going on.

Hellen gets all

stuck up, and Luke thinks she looks even cuter when she sticks her little nose

up like that.

As he realizes his

thoughts Luke thinks " what the fuck are those thoughts".

"There you didn't

know that's what it's called" says Hellen getting more and more irritated "they

say it's because you can't find your mate like the rest of us, but I personally

think it's because you're uneducated arrogant" she finishes by sticking her

nose up even more.

Beto can't stand it

any longer and bursts into laughter, earning na angry look from Luke, who is

increasingly interested in his brother's reaction.

Luke takes two steps

towards the annoyingly beautiful girl, but the guy who is with her seems to

have taken courage and pulls her behind him, earning a look of admiration from

the idiot girl, Luke decides to show her that his protector would not last a

second with him.

At this point Beto

loses his cool and he and Diego decide to intervene.

At the same time the

Alpha Dilan and his son Trevan and his Beta appear and seeing the situation

they pose protectively in front of the young couple who are the target of

Lucky's anger.

Luke's eyes

immediately turn red; it seems that brat had a habit of winning the protection

of the males of the gang.

Diego and Beto

posture themselves next to Luke immediately and Diego whispers in his brother's

ear:

"What's gotten into

you?"

"What the fuck are

you doing man?" helps Beto .

And that was exactly

the same question Luke was asking himself.

Alpha Dilan is the

first to speak:

"What the hell is

going on here?"

"I thought you guys

came here to learn our method and not to attack my sister" , spits Trevan

already overcome by anger and with red eyes too.

"Let's calm down"

says Alpha Dilan in a tone that doesn't admit discussion.

Luke takes a deep

breath and begins to realize how big a mess he's gotten himself into, because

the brat was Alpha Dilan's daughter.

"Okay, Hellen dear

can you explain to me what's going on here?", Alpha Dilan continues

"I don't know, I was

talking to Mike when the Cursed One..." begins Hellen

"Hellen!" growls

alpha Dilan in warning

"Okay, okay ... when

the hot one ..." tries Hellen once again, and Beto has another laughing fit

"Hellen I'm warning

you" , says na alpha Dilan red with anger

"Okay", Hellen gives

in, "I was talking to Mike when the Prince , came and bumped into my back , I

only didn't fall because Mike held me"

Alpha Dilan arches

her eyebrows looking at Luke, who thinks he has no excuse for this after all

even he didn't know why he acted like that.

"It was just a

misunderstanding" , Diego tries

"It won't happen

again," Luke completes, as he wasn't there to displease the alpha of the gang

but to learn from him.

"Thanks Mike, I

think you can go, with my sister to class now" Trevan says and when Mike makes

mention of leaving he completes , "and Mike sorry about the other night, you

are welcome anytime you want to meet up with Hellen"

Mike cracks a huge

smile, and pulls Hellen by the hand into the school, not even casting a glance

at Luke, and Hellen follows him but rolls her eyes when she sees Luke following

them with his eyes.
