Chapter 10 Apologize

The next morning Hellen already has a plan in her mind, and as soon as she arrives at school she goes to the secretary's office and asks with her most angelic smile to change her schedule.

But to her surprise, the secretary, Mrs. Dulce, is adamant about this, and refuses to change her schedule.

Exasperated Hellen calls her brother because he can make Mrs. Dulce give in.

"Hey little sister, is there something you need?" answers Trevan suspiciously

"Trevan if you love me, get Mistress Dulce to change my schedule please," she makes her crying voice as that always works.

"Um and why do you need that," asks Trevan mentally groaning for making a deal with Diego

"Because I want to stay away from the Accursed, oops I mean the prince," he says hoping his brother understands the situation.

"Honey I trust you can work this out without me having to use my authority to get involved at school, now I need to hang up kisses," and hangs up before she can say anything and he gives in.

In the parking lot a very grumpy Luke arrives at school, he has been watching the entrance to Hellen's house for most of the night, and it is clear that the girl slept with this Mike guy, sure she was one of those who jumped from one bed to another, not that it had anything to do with him, he repeats to himself.

Mike also has just arrived and upon spotting Gloria asks:

"Hey where's my girl?" he says messing up Gloria's hair who snorts and replies:

"She went to the secretary's office to try to change the schedule".

Luke, who heard the conversation, gives the first smile of the day because he knows that Hellen will not get rid of him so easily.

But he underestimated the girl, who in the next few classes swapped places with other girls who wanted to be close to the Prince.

Hellen was getting along fine avoiding trouble, that is until lunchtime.

As soon as she enters the cafeteria and heads to get food Luke's strange girlfriend gets in front of her in line.

Ellen and Gloria exchange a warning look and Mike whispers :

"That girl gives me the chills"

That's when Vanessa turns to Hellen with a smile on her face and says:

"Look I'd like to apologize for that incident in the bathroom," she says and glances over her shoulder and says, "gee there's a piece of paper stuck to my back could you take it off for me?"

Hellen stares at the girl suspiciously, but still reaches up to remove a small piece of paper stuck to Vanessa's back.

And that's when it happens, as soon as her hands touch Vanessa's back the girl throws herself forward a meter falling face down on the ground.

Hellen turns to Gloria and Mike and says:

"Did you see that", but before they could answer Hellen is also thrown away hitting a girl who had just picked up food and turned the whole tray on top of Hellen.

Ellen raises her eyes and sees that it was Luke who pushed her.

And her eyes turn purple immediately and she growls violently at Luke.

Luke stares at her angrily and says:

"Do you like to attack others behind their backs girl?"

"Luke dear let it go, I'm fine," Vanessa says in a crying voice

"Haa you're fine , but you won't stay that way you hateful fake girl," Gloria yells at Vanessa.

"What a bunch of fucking misfits are these," Mike shouts angrily helping Hellen to her feet.

Diego and Beto approach , and seeing Vanessa on the floor ask what happened and na angry Luke replies:

"This girl who besides futile and idiot is treacherous, I saw with my own eyes when she pushed Vanessa from behind"

"You need to wear glasses then, asshole, this was just na act by your weird girlfriend", shouts Mike

"Of course you're going to take her side, you slept with her all night" says Luke increasingly out of control.

"What are you talking about..." starts Mike but is interrupted by Hellen.

"Say no more Mike, it's none of his business who I sleep with or not", and turning to Vanessa she does something she doesn't usually do, she unleashes all her power letting it show in her voice, " and you girl cross my path again and you will have consequences" and turns to leave the cafeteria, but Luke is faster and uses his alpha tone saying:

"Stop right there"

As much as she wants to disobey, Luke is the supreme and Hellen can do nothing but stop in place.

Diego tries to intervene before his brother does something that will drive Hellen away from him forever:

"Luke has had enough man"

But Luke ignores him and says :

"Apologize to Vanessa now"

All wolves know not to fight the alpha power, because it costs the wolf too much, in some cases it even causes death.

But Hellen fights bravely, refusing to give in, her forehead gets sweaty, and she visibly shakes, Gloria rushes out of the cafeteria .

Luke stares at Hellen and unleashes all his alpha power on her, Hellen falls to her knees and still refuses to say the words.

"Luke man you are going too far can't you see why" says Diego in despair at what his brother is doing.

That's when Gloria returns accompanied by a screaming security guard:

"She didn't push and I have the proof"

Vanessa loses all color from her face and stands up quickly, saying:

"Luke there's no need for that, look I'm fine, I don't even know if she really pushed me"

Hellen starts sweating droplets of blood, and Mike gets desperate and advances on Luke, who just punches him away as if he were dealing with a pesky fly.

Diego also advances on Luke because he thinks that his brother has gone crazy for good, and Beto helps him.

But what they don't know is that the same pain that Luke is inflicting, he is feeling, and it has made him lose his mind, it's as if he wants to break up with Hellen so that he too will stop suffering.

The security guard approaches with a tablet in his hand and puts it in front of Luke's eyes and gives the player .
