Chapter 2 Two Women Who Looked Alike

Indeed, the man was Gerald.

Sheila trembled all over. Her hands felt so weak that she almost couldn't hold the plate firmly.

Those images of their entangled bodies and the sound of violent gasping poured out from the depths of her memory. It was as if the pain in her body that night became clear. She continued trembling uncontrollably.

She seemed to feel the fear of being dominated by the man in bed again, just like that night.

When the female housekeeper saw Gerald come in, she quickly put away the whip in her hand and smiled at him. Then she turned to Sheila and scolded, "Why are you just standing there? Didn't you see the distinguished guest come in? Come here and entertain him."

The female housekeeper's roar brought Sheila back to her senses. She quickly put the plate back in the sink, bowed her head, and strode towards Gerald to usher him in.

But something unexpected happened. Because of her panic and the slippery floor, she lost her balance and accidentally fell on him.

Sheila had been washing dishes just now, and the white foam from the dishwashing soap in her hands hadn't been cleaned up. Before she could know it, Gerald's expensive suit was already stained by the foam when she fell on him.

"I'm... I'm sorry, sir. Let me wipe it clean for you." When she saw that his expensive suit was covered with white foam, she panicked even more and apologized repeatedly.

But as soon as she stood up, she unexpectedly fell into his arms again because of fear and nervousness. The faint smell of tobacco from his body lingered on her nose.

Sheila raised her head slightly only to see Gerald's handsome face. Although his suit was stained, it didn't hide the noble aura that seemed so natural in him.

They were so close that her heartbeat went uncontrollably fast. She even forgot that she was still leaning against his arms.

All of a sudden, Gerald snapped, "Fuck off!" His face was cold, and his pair of blue eyes squinted coldly, looking at the woman in his arms disgustedly.

What he hated the most were women with bad intentions. Because of his noble status, he had seen too many tricks like this since he was a child.

He didn't intend to waste time on this kind of woman, so he raised his hand and pushed her away.

Sheila didn't expect that she would be pushed away. So she screamed and fell to the floor, and her glasses accidentally fell from her eyes.

Gerald was about to step forward, but he stopped. His eyes narrowed.

Although he only glanced at her, he couldn't help but wonder why she looked so similar to "Winnie" from that night.

Gerald's frown deepened as she walked towards Sheila.

Seeing him approaching her, Sheila began to tremble uncontrollably. And the memory of that night became more and more vivid in her mind.

And when she remembered Winnie's warning, she became more and more afraid. She was about to run away desperately when a shy female voice sounded. "Gerald, you're here."

When Gerald turned around, he saw Winnie in a fiery red dress walking towards him.

Seeing Sheila on the floor, Winnie complained in her heart. But she couldn't show her true colors in front of Gerald, so she had to pretend to be concerned. "Sis, why are you on the floor?"

"I... I accidentally fell," Sheila replied in a low voice. Then she quickly stood up, put on her glasses, and lowered her head.

Gerald raised his eyebrows and looked at the two women, lost in thought.

Winnie noticed his reaction, and she couldn't help gritting her teeth secretly.

This bitch Sheila was in the wrong place!

She was afraid that Gerald would notice something off, so she came up with an idea. She rolled her eyes and said coquettishly, "Gerald, this is Sheila, the girl my father adopted. You keep staring at the two of us. Are you curious why we look so alike?"
