Chapter 2 First Night with a Stranger

Selena Kapoor POV

I was sitting on the bed while my bridal dress was covering almost the whole bed. I was being presented to a man that I haven't seen ever and know nothing about him.

But at the time of marriage I couldn't even see him properly and to be honest I was more concerned about so much else. My life was turned upside down in the last three days.

I was pressurized so much to marry a person that I didn't know. His Mom just took me to this bedroom and I was seeing around and it was a really lavishing big room. The curtains, the rug, the bed everything was so Fancy.

I knew that my Husband was Rich but I never imagined this rich. I mean my whole apartment was the size of that bedroom. I was tired of sitting like a doll on that bed. But I wasn't supposed to get up as his mother advised.

I was thinking of the situation My Mom put me in and now I have to deal with it. An unknown family, an unknown person. God, forbid.

I was processing so many things in my mind when I heard the door opening sound and then someone entered the room.

Now, my heartbeat started rising. I had been with my boyfriend alone so many times but we had our limits and we were planning to marry but my plans got canceled because of the person entering the room.

I didn't want him to touch me but I couldn't say anything as I was just there by my own choice. I was having so many thoughts in my mind. What type of person he would be??

Would he even care about me or not?? What would happen to me now??

He was approaching the bed and then he stopped and sat on the other side of the bed and opened the drawer.

He took out something from there and threw it in my lap.

"here's your gift for the wedding from me!! And don't flatter yourself too much. You should consider this an honor sitting with me on my bed. It's just my Dad's wish and one more thing Don't you ever expect anything between the two of us. You can live here and just be their daughter-in-law but we will be just strangers nothing else."

He said so many things all of a sudden and I got nervous when he humiliated me like that I wanted to say so much but I kept myself calm and was waiting for him to say anything.

''Aren't you gonna say anything?? You know it's better if you don't say anything. I like silence in my room and I will be sleeping on the couch and you will sleep on the bed. ''

Well, that was relieving. I wasn't even ready for anything embarrassing. And I would be much more comfortable if he would be on the couch I had no problem with him and actually, I wanted everything like that too.

Finally, I was free and I took a deep breath and looked up. He was sitting by the side of me so I couldn't look at his face and sitting in the same pose I asked.

"By good daughter-in-law, what do you mean by that?? Should I behave like a slave?? What do you expect??"

"No, I don't know. I am tired I wanna sleep now. Change and take some rest."

I got up and looked around and as I see his face I couldn't believe it was him.

The pervert from the bar.

"You."

"You, Oh no." He said while making an angry face.

"You, Oh gosh. Just when I think that it couldn't go much bad It gets worse. Out of all other men in the city he chose you to be my Husband??"

I sat back holding my head because I was recalling my fight with him at the bar a few days ago.

"Listen, I am as shocked as you. What the hell Dad was thinking??"

"He was thinking of a way to make my life hell and look he goes succeeded."

I was pointing at him and he frowned and got up.

"Oh really, Madam Even I am not dancing seeing your face. I am as shocked as you. "

"Oh come on. The girl with whom you were flirting that night is now your wife and is sitting in your bed. It must be the best day of your life."

I said while taking off my jewelry and throwing it on the dressing table. I was seeing his face in the mirror and he was getting red with anger.

"Listen What happened that night was a misunderstanding. And listen madam I have a girlfriend and I have seen so many beautiful girls in my life. You are not so special."

"Oh really?? Daddy's boy is getting angry now. Well, thankfully you cleared everything. I have a boyfriend too and I wasn't dying to marry you. I too was forced."

"Oh, Your love story won't get Disturbed. I will divorce you sooner."

This made me, even more, happier because that face wasn't the one I would love to see daily.

"Really??"

I jumped with happiness and got up and looked at him.

He was placing his hands on his waist.

"Yeah, Even I am not dying to be with you. But it all will take some time. Till then we both will just pretend normal in front of our parents. And then you will be on your way and I'll be on mine"

"Deal"

Now, that was decided. He went to the changing room and I was taking off the jewelry and he came back and I was getting up and going to take some clothes for myself.

I opened my bag but couldn't find my night suit and then I opened the other one but there was nothing. I was wondering about my clothes meanwhile he was out of the washroom and had changed into his night suit.

He looked at me and then at my suitcase and then he stopped immediately.

"What have you done?? this mess. Clean it now. I can't see my room like this."

"It's my room too. I can do whatever I want. You have a problem??" I gave him the death stare.

" I wish I can kill you."

"Do it please. Trust me when I will get the chance I won't hesitate."

" You are a psychopath."
