Chapter 6 Out Of His Mind

Upon hearing what Kasha said, Keith had no choice but to hold Kira's hand, albeit reluctantly.

For some reason, when his hand touched hers, an inexplicable feeling emerged in his heart.

'Damn it!

How could I have feelings for this female?' he wondered.

Meanwhile, Kira could not help but be confused upon seeing the change on Keith's face.

Not knowing what to do, she bit her lip and slowly pulled her hand out of his grasp.

However, Keith seemed displeased by what she had done.

He was just holding her hand, but she felt disgusted with him? The audacity!

Without saying a word, he hoisted her by her hips and carried her on his shoulder.

This reminded Kira of the time when she was brought to his tribe.

Could it be that this person was feeling the urge to mate with her again?

No, she would never let him!

Because she could not scream, she looked at Kasha and Jayda who had just arrived and gestured for help. However, Keith was too fast that she was unsure if they saw her.

Fortunately, they did. But just as Kasha was about to stop Keith, he was already far from them.

"Mama, what happened to Keith? Is he going to hurt her?" Jayda asked with concern.

Keith had gone way too fast that Jayda was unable to stop him. She was worried about Kira, but there was nothing else she could do but ask Kasha worriedly.

In all honesty, Kasha felt a little flustered to how her son was acting.

"Jayda, let's follow them!"

Kasha ordered at once.

"I agree, Mama. Keith has indeed gone too far!"

It was obvious from the way Jayda talked that she was outraged by her brother's behavior. How could he treat a female like this? He had never been rude and disrespectful to any female!

On the other side, Kira, on Keith's shoulder, kept struggling to get down.

Keith was having difficulty keeping her still. All of a sudden, he finally decided to put her down as he had gotten tired of running and her struggling.

"I'm warning you, don't make any sudden move; otherwise, I'm not sure what I'll do to you."

He stared at Kira coldly. The memory of what she had done to his tribe made his tone even colder.

Meanwhile, Kira got mad at what he had said.

As a result, she started doing series of gestures that, sadly, only she could understand.

'I can't even speak!

Why do you have to threaten me like that?

Did I do anything wrong?

Or do you people just treat females like this?'

She started gesturing faster. She was so angry that she even started to curse him using gestures.

She had just knocked him out by accident, but now, he was retaliating against her. What a petty primitive man!

Meanwhile, Keith had a myriad of thoughts as he watched Kira frantically gesture a lot of things to him.

"I won't hurt you. Just follow me and listen to what I say," he said firmly.

For some reason, his heart softened as he gazed at her face.

Kira stopped making gestures at once. She was confused as to why his attitude changed yet again.

Were all primitive males as fickle as this one?

She must admit, it was really hard to guess his thoughts.

Unfortunately, she had nowhere to go, so she had no choice but to follow him quietly.

She swore to herself that she would stay away from this man when she was finally settled down and could survive on her own.

At that moment, Keith led her to a cave not far away from his.

Kira now understood why she could not find this place.

It turned out that the path that led here was covered with grass, preventing intruders from coming.

Once they arrived, he pointed at a cave in front of them.

"That is your cave."

That cave that he was pointing at was much smaller than his.

Even so, it was good enough to protect her from the attacks of many wild animals.

Kira was gazing at her cave with admiration when, to her surprise, Keith came over and went inside first.

'What does he want to do now?' she wondered.

She took a step back subconsciously, only to find that Keith entered the cave to tidy it up for her.

He searched for a big stone from the outside and dragged it inside. As Kira watched what he was doing, she found out that he was making a stone bed for her.

Now that the stone was neatly arranged on the ground, he went to his cave to get some hay and other things that could be used on the bed.

Kira was impressed. Keith even prepared a small stone table next to her bed. Now, it seemed to be a good place to live in.

While Keith was cleaning the cave, Kasha and Jayda arrived.

The two breathed a sigh of relief when they found that Kira was untouched and unscathed.

Kasha looked at them with a meaningful smile.

She knew her son would not treat any female so badly. After all, she raised him well.

"That's my son!" she exclaimed while Keith was cleaning Kira's cave. "Keith, now that K will live next to you, you must take good care of her," she continued.

But when Kasha met Kira's eyes, she felt sorry for her.

'This little female must've not eaten enough. She's skin and bones!

Yes, she's beautiful, but she's too thin and weak, ' she mused.

In their tribe, females must be well-nurtured so that they could give birth to a child safely.

At the thought of this, Kasha walked up to Kira.

Jayda quickly took out all the supplies she had brought and gave them to her mother.

Kasha put Kira's stuff in her cave at once. Once everything was set, she advised, "K, sweetie, you must eat more, so you can be strong and reproduce well with Keith."

Kira's ears turned red upon hearing that.

The primitive people were indeed unreserved and downright. How could they talk about mating so freely?

While Kira was deep in thought, Keith answered for her, "Mama, you don't have to worry about those things. Please leave now."

He was dismissive as Kasha's words made him recall something.

He remembered the time when something unexpected happened, and he fell on top of this little female.

At the thought of this, he hurriedly drove Kasha and Jayda away in embarrassment.

Because Keith and Kira did not say anything regarding the matter, Kasha was unwilling to leave. However, she could not keep disturbing them, so she had to leave nevertheless.

"K, if my son bullies you, tell me right away. If you can't find my place, let Keith lead the way."

With that, she left the cave with Jayda.

Kira waited until Kasha and Jayda were gone.

Once they left, she took the fresh meat and fruit from the cave and put them into Keith's arms.

Keith frowned at her in confusion.

To explain why she had done that, Kira gestured, "I'm giving this all back to you."

Keith was stunned for a moment and looked at the food in his hand with utter bewilderment.

Why was she returning the food to him?

It was unbelievable!

Kira had never done anything else aside from eating and drinking. She never did anything to help his people, but she was always the first to eat at the table.

Why was she returning all the food that Kasha had given her just now?

As Keith was silent for a long while, Kira looked at him confusedly.

'Is it not enough?

Does he want me to return what I've eaten as well?

This man is stingy as hell, isn't he?'

Kira gestured at him, which said, "I'll return the food that I ate in a few days.

I'll pick some fruits and give them to you"

Kira was at a loss for words. This man seemed to be personable for a primitive man, but why was he so petty? It was just some fruits!

Keith furrowed his brows and looked at her with a frown.

Could it be that this female was planning to return all the fruits to him because she felt bad?

How was that possible?

He could not believe it. However, he could not find any other logical explanation.

Or, perhaps, this little female wanted to gain his trust now because she had an ulterior motive?

The second one seemed more plausible than the first, so Keith immediately put down the food in his hand and warned, "Don't try to do anything bad. I'm keeping an eye on you."

With that, he walked out of her cave at once, leaving Kira dumbfounded.

She was sure now.

This primitive man was out of his mind!
