Chapter 9 Am I Your Pet

There was a contemptuous banter in Phillip's eyes, like a predator looking at its prey. He grabbed the wine bottle from Penny, who was holding onto it so tight as if it was her dear life.

In fact, he even suspected that she would smash the bottle on his head as soon as his eyes left her if he didn't take it away.

There was no way she would be soft on him.

Surprisingly, she smiled at him. She was cold and stubborn just a few seconds ago, but now she was smiling coquettishly.

"Since you are now my husband, how about I ask you for some benefits? Give me a kiss."

She tilted her head and stared at him. Her narrow eyes were full of amorous feelings, like a soul-sucking goblin at midnight. Yes, she was seducing him blatantly.

"Stay away from me, Penny!" Instinctively, Philip moved back. He gritted his teeth and looked at her with obvious disgust in his eyes.

"Aren't you my husband? We've been married for almost two months, but you haven't fulfilled your duty as a husband until now... I'm just asking for a kiss. Is that too much?"

The flirtatious aura enveloped Phillip, causing him to almost throw his reason out of the windows.

'This woman...'

Before his defenses could collapse, he pushed her away, and pulled her again making her twirl. Then he put his hands on her sides, and pushed her again.

Shocked with his sudden action, Penny screamed as she stumbled to lean against the window behind her.

They were on the second floor. It might not be very high, but she could still break her legs if she fell down from here.

It never occurred to her that a simple flirting could anger Phillip to the point where he acted so violently.

"Are you trying to kill me, Phillip?"

He held her wrist with one hand, as if he was going to crush her bones, while he held the other with their fingers interlocked.

Penny really hated the feeling of being played by him. Her coquettish look was now gone. She looked up at him and dug her fingertips deeply into the back of his hand, wishing that she could make it bleed.

"Didn't you ask me to kiss you? Then be good."

"Am I your pet?"

When Philip's face was only just a few inches away from her soft red lips, he said in an insulting tone, "How can a pet be as ugly as you?" His voice was hoarse and his eyes were full of disdain as he said this.

Sure enough, Philip had become more powerful. He was no longer the helpless young boy who lived under the roof of the Lou Family.

As she was busy thinking about this, Penny felt that her body was pulled back by a powerful force. Her heart was beating fast the moment she felt her feet landed on the safe ground again.

The first thing she did was push him away as she calmed herself down. Looking at Phillip in front of her, she recalled the morning when she met him in front of Cody's tombstone in the cemetery.

Along with the memory, she heard the sound of the rainstorm which she would never forget.

"Mr. Yu, it's been three years. Is there anything wrong with your body?" She raised her eyebrows and looked down along his belt sarcastically. Her eyes were becoming dark and provocative. "You used to be so energetic, especially in this kind of thing. But now..."

The moments they spent together when they were younger had been blissful. They used to be so happy, but it was all in the past now.

"Maybe you are already too old." Shaking her head in disdain, Penny continued to provoke him. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone else that you can't perform in bed anymore."

After saying that, she turned around and walked out of the room.

She stumbled towards the bathroom.

It was too quiet, and the lights on the corridor were dimmed, giving her an eerie feeling.

Meanwhile, Philip remained standing by the window. His face was gloomy and his hands were clenched into fists.

"Go to hell! I'll kill you!"

Suddenly, a shrill howl broke the silence.
