Chapter 6 Alpha Asher Is Targeting Us

Damian's POV

"You are going to stop threatening me." Her smooth voice sounded in my ear. Smiling, I walked closer to her but she pulled back again. I watched as a tear rolled down her cheeks and couldn't help but stare out of the window. "You don't care about me. The fact that I'm here and with you is a better revenge cause now he knows that he can never have me."

"And you think he will accept that without a fight?"

"And you would rather I lose a lot than fight for me?" She spat and I took a deep breath and watched as she walked away.

The moment she was out of sight, my emotions rushed out. I threw my fist against the hard wall closer to me and growled in anger. "Alpha, Selene doesn't look like she's willing to do this." Beta Joe said to me. I smiled and signaled for him to come closer, then I whispered an instruction in his ear walked out of the chamber, and headed towards the field in the palace.

I looked around me and couldn't see a single person. Nodding my head, I walked straight to the hut that was built at the other end, took out some swords that were saved in there, and started training.

I trained for hours and after I was done, I walked straight into my room and took out my clothes before I headed to my bathtub and got myself soaked in the prepared bath.

I thought of a thousand ways to get Selene to do as needed, but none felt like it could work on her. "Should I kidnap her father?" I thought that would be a challenge.

Her father was the highest lycan member in the Ravens Pack. It could backfire. My fists joined together and though I was still lost, I just knew I wasn't going to let everything slide like that.

The thought of Asher burned my fist. The memories of that massacre were still in my head, and I could still hear the death cry of my pups. Swallowing my feelings, I finally stepped out of the bath, and then, right after I was dressed, I walked straight to my chamber. "Alpha it's time to visit the Pack's borders." Beta Joe reminded me and I nodded.

"Where is she?" I questioned

"Busy with her maid, Elaine. Elaine appears to be very loyal to her." He reported and I just walked out.

A few hours later, we returned, and I decided to retire to bed for the day. I was getting depressed with each hour that passed.

I slammed my door shut and hopped on the large bed, ready to close my eyes only for a knock to widen them. "Okay, what is it?" I said and beta Joe walked in looking distressed.

"There's a problem Alpha! The weapons at the southern end of the Blood Moon pack have just been stolen." He reported and I jumped out of the bed in shock.

"Who are the culprits?" I questioned but he had no answer.

Pissed, I shoved him out of the way and drove straight to the southern end of my pack to inspect what was missing. Half of our deadly weapons were cleared, with over thirty dead bodies of my warriors lying on the floor. "It's good you all are dead. It's better to die than live and watch my possessions get stolen." I spat with so much anger.

"Only two warriors escaped." Beta Joe reported, oblivious to what I had in mind.

"Hmm, they must be tough then. Can I see them?" I questioned and he pointed towards a direction and spotted two of my warriors limping. I took out an arrow and bow and fired it straight at one of them.

It caught him straight in the neck like he was a rabbit and I watched him drop dead. I then turned to look at the second one. He was shivering deeply. I smirked. "Let that serve as a lesson for you. Perform every duty of yours with all your might. You owe me your life." I spat and turned to look at the beta.

"Give me valuable information before dawn," I ordered and he bowed. I walked past and the moment I got to my room, I fell asleep.

The next morning, I freshened up and stepped out of my door only to find Beta Joe already there looking serious.

"I think we are in trouble, Alpha Damian. All my findings led to the Ravens pack. I think the information I leaked is causing a storm in the Ravens pack. They are in the process of haunting us again but this time, with our own weapons." He reported.

I froze in shock.

Ravens pack!

One pack that gets into my tough skin every single time it is mentioned. "Who wants this war?"

"Alpha you know who it is already. Alpha Asher is targeting us." He said this time he sounded a bit scared. I walked past him and headed straight to my chamber with my hands crossed behind me. I had to do something. "If we don't send a warning to them they may strike any moment from now."

"I can't send a warning. Alpha Asher is the only Alpha who can stand up to me. My warriors have reduced, and war isn't something I want for my people right now. We have to find out what he wants and get it settled. We must have done something first because the Ravens, I know, don't strike for no reason." I muttered and turned to look at Beta Joe

He seemed to be in deep thought. "Alpha, could it be about-" he muttered, and my mind caught it too.

He must have found her location.

Fuck!

"This is bad news Alpha!" Beta Joe sounded terrified; meanwhile, I beamed with a smile.

"This isn't bad news. This is a discovery. He found out my warriors' list is my current weakness, but I just found out something deeper." I muttered.

Beta Joe was confused. "What's it about Alpha?"

"Selene! Her location has been leaked, remember, and her presence here is driving him crazy. She's his weakness!" I spat with a crazy smile.
