Chapter 2 Helping a stranger

George was filled with worry, standing frozen as he stared at the old man. Suddenly, a flashback took him back to their dining room, where his father was in the kitchen making pancakes. The delightful aroma wafting from the kitchen was irresistible, and George found himself eagerly anticipating the moment the pancakes would be ready. He could hardly wait to hear his father's voice.

"Son, your pancakes are ready! I'll be there in just a moment!" his father called from the kitchen. The thrill he felt whenever he heard his father's voice was unlike anything else.

His father placed the pancake on the table while his mother prepared waffles. As they waited for her to finish, he gently fed his son the pancakes.

As night began to fall, his mom finished making the waffles just as his dad's phone rang. It was Geoffrey, his friend, calling.

"Geoffrey's voice echoed through the phone: 'The classic film Lawrence of Arabia is showing live in theaters tonight! I hope you and your wife and son can come!'"

"Of course I've been waiting for that movie!" his dad shouted before hanging up.

"Son, we're leaving for the cinema, so I guess you'll have to wait on those waffles!" his father shouted.

"Dad, please! I'm begging you! You know how much I love waffles! Just let me have a few bites!" he pleaded with his father, his voice rising in desperation.

"Okay, son, but make it quick!" Mr. Carter yelled.

His mother carefully took the waffles out of the kitchen and set them on the dining table.

"Yummy! My favorite!" George exclaimed as he pulled it from his mother's hands and popped one into his mouth.

"Table manners, dear! You shouldn't rush your food like that; it could choke you!" Fiona exclaimed to her son.

"I'm sorry, Mum, but I simply can't control my love for waffles!" George exclaimed.

As George started to eat his waffles, his father gently tapped him and whispered,

"Son, we don't have much time. The move will start soon, so we need to hurry!" Mr. Carter shouted.

"Please, honey, be patient; he'll be done soon," Fiona urged her husband. Her flashback was interrupted when the old man tapped George on the shoulder.

"Are you okay, George?" When he didn't respond, he began speaking to himself in a loud voice.

"Oh, how I wish my dad hadn't gone to the cinema that day; they would still be alive today. I just wish they had let me go with them!" George yelled.

Mr. Garry tapped him again and asked, "Are you okay? Why have you been so quiet today?" "What are you talking about?"

"You seem worried, son you shouldn't be I mean you no harm . I'm Garry. I need a favor from you. I'm heading to a wedding, but my car is having big problems. I've taken it to a lot of mechanics, and every time they fix it, the issues come back worse than before within a day." "I heard about you from a customer who said you're really good, so I decided to check it out for myself," the old man whispered. "You've arrived at the right spot. Can I take a look at the car?" George answered calmly. "Come with me," he said gently as he followed the old man outside. When they reached the car, he moved closer and looked over the vehicle. He wanted to speak but held back for a moment. "What's the matter?" the old man asked curiously. "Sir, the car is really damaged, and it will take some time to get it fixed," George said softly. "Oh no! I don't have much time! The wedding is in two days, and I need to fix this right away!" the old man shouted. you're in good hands sir, I'll lend you one of my cars you can use it for the wedding you can use it for other purposes till I'm done fixing yours George whispered. When the old man heard this, he felt extremely happy. "Wow, thank you so much! You really saved my life," he said. "You're welcome! Let me grab the car for you." He carefully walks into the garage, selects one of the cars he created, and drives it out. "Here are the keys, sir," the old man says as he takes them. He smiles for a moment before driving off. As the old man drove away George calmly walked away. On his path, he noticed something on the ground and carefully picked it up it was the old man's card which he mistakingly left behind The card had this message written in big letters: "The current CEO of Gary Motor Company!" George nearly had a heart attack because he was struggling to breathe He couldn't believe his eyes. "Wow, the world is really small!" he shouted..
