Chapter 9 Him

"Club here we come!" Karina screamed as we pulled off from my house. I turned on the song Perfect Night by LESSERAFIM; We all sang to it and begin swaying a bit. After twenty minutes we finally made it, after Karina parked the car we got out and headed inside. The music was loud and a lot of people was on the dance floor enjoying themselves. I walked over to a booth and took a seat. Isa and Karina sat beside me as we looked around.

"I'm going to go to the bar and get a drink, do you guys want anything?". I asked while standing up fixing my dress. I had on a tight black dress with silver lace glitter heels that had some cute butterflies attached to them; along with my cute diamond necklace and bracelets and my long silver butterfly earrings.

"Uh yeah I don't mind what you bring me". Isa said.

"Me too". Karina chimed in.

I nodded and walked off to the bar. I stood there for a second before the bartender took notice to me. "Yes?" The bartender asked.

"Uh can I have three of whatever your strongest drink is?". I asked politely.

"Are you sure? One sip and you're going to be all over the place". He replied with some concern. I looked at him with a very sure expression. "With the morning I had today I'm definitely going to need it". I replied as he just shrugged and begin making the drinks. I noticed there was a guy two seats down from me alone just drinking. I couldn't help but steal a few glances at him.

"Here's the first two drinks, I'm almost done with the third one". The bartender pitched while pushing the two glasses towards me. "Thank you".I said while taking the glasses and walked to Isa and Karina than handing them the drinks. "I'm going to go back to the bar my drink isn't done yet, go have fun don't wait for me". I told them as they just nodded and started drinking.

I went to the bar and sat down next to the man. He didn't look my way for looked up from his cup whatsoever. I took notice to it. "Are you here all by yourself?" I asked the guy while looking at my hand then looking at him as he slowly turned his attention towards me.

"Are you talking to me?" He asked with such a confused tone. I nodded at him. He smiled and replied "Yes..I am". He continued. "What bring you here? Are you here just to party?" I asked while staring at him. For some reason I couldn't take my eyes off of him, he was so handsome. His skin looked soft and flawless, his eyes sat low and his jawline was visible and sharp; his smile was enough to make someone else smile as well. I smiled back at him. "Well I guess I'm just here to distract my mind from a ex-lover of mines, what about you?" he said while raising the cup towards his lips.

"Same". I responded back as the bartender slid my glass towards me. "Thank you". I said to the bartender as he nodded and walked away. I took a sip and hissed. It was the strongest thing I ever tasted. It burned my throat but it felt so good going down, such a strong taste. "A beautiful lady like you having relationship problems?". The man asked while turning towards me a bit. I giggled. "Marriage problems". I replied. "Oh so you're married?" He asked. "I was married but I got a divorce this morning". I said as the man sipped on his drink then stopped and looked at me in my eyes. "May I asked what happened?". He said.

I looked at him. "Well he's been creeping around with his ex-girlfriend somebody named Elena and I just found out about it..I confronted him about it and he didn't care so I suggested a divorce and now I'm here". I told him.

"Elena? Did she by any chance have honey brown hair, fair skin, light brown eyes and a small eyes and nose?". He said looking a bit surprised.

I stared at him confused at how he knows what she looked like. "Y-Yeah". I said with such confusion. "Ha! She was my girlfriend.. well ex-girlfriend before I found out she was out with another guy which I'm going to assume was your husband". He said.

"Coincidence huh?" I said while taking another sip. He shrugged and begins drinking as well. "I'm Nola Mace" I introduced myself. "I'm Evan, Evan Lee". He said while sticking out his hand. I grabbed his hand as he lifted my hand towards his lips and kissed it. I smiled.

We kept talking and drinking after. My mind was completely blanked and wiped out of Jace. I could get use to this.
