Chapter 1 3'O CLOCK

"I don't love you, I never will..I NEVER WILL!!!" He screamed at me. I popped up abruptly from my sleep panting, realizing it was just a bad dream. I looked next to me see Jace was missing. I rubbed my eyes and looked around spotting the time. 3'o clock in the morning, where could he have gone? I realized his phone was still on the night stand.

I grabbed it and seen he has a few messages from a girl name ' Elena'. I sat in confusion, who is she? How come I never heard of her? I knew about all of Jace friends and Family but her name never once came up. I put the phone back on the night stand.

I got out of bed and put on my robe than walked out the room. "Jace?" I called out softly while yawning, not getting a response. I went downstairs to the basement and there he was working out. "Jace come back to bed it's 3 in the morning, why are you up so early working out?" I asked while feeling and looking desperately tired.

He put his weights down and shot me a cold look. "Go back to bed, I didn't ask for you to come searching for me". He grabbed his shirt and put it back on.

I stood there looking at him. "Who's Elena?" I asked as I watched Jace expression shift after I asked that question. He turned to me.

"She's no one..why?" He replied with such calming tone that expressed it self in a soft manner. He looked a bit happy to hear her name; I shrugged it off and replied back. "No exact reason.. I'm heading back to bed, please return soon". I said.

"Yeah whatever". Jace replied in a cold expressionless tone.

I walked back up the stairs while closing the basement door behind myself. I walked upstairs to the bedroom and sat on the bed staring at Jace phone. I knew it would be wrong to invade his privacy and snoop through his phone but seeing him get happy to hear this girl name weighed down on me in curiosity. I grabbed his phone and unlocked it. I wanted to stop myself but curiosity took over me.
