Chapter 2 Girl's talk

"Soooooooooo? Are you going to continue to tell us what happened or are you going to keep zoning out?" My friend Isa asked while being deeply interested in the story.

"Nothing". I said blankly.

"Wait wait wait so you mean to tell me that you seen that girl texted him, you unlocked his phone and went through their messages and found photos of them together as well and nothing happened after?!" Karina pitched while sounding a bit confused and angry.

I stared expressionlessly out of the coffee shop window while trying to wrap my head around everything.

"Are you still with him?" Karina asked.

I looked at her a bit confused by the question. "Well yeah, why wouldn't I be? I didn't find anything out of the unusual". I replied.

My friends looked taken aback by what I said. They looked a me like I had something terrible written on my forehead. I knew just by their expressions my decision to stay with him was dumb.

"Sweetie he's literally seeing her behind your back! Not to mention he's kept her hidden from you AND he has pictures of them laying together!! That's not unusual to you Nola?" Isa said starting to sound a bit annoyed.

I sighed while listening to them. Gosh is it that bad? I picked up my cup of coffee and sipped on it. Such a sweet and hot taste that spread all over my taste buds. I could understand why my friends felt the way they did, I would too if I was in their shoes but I just needed to figure out who exactly was 'Elena' was to Jace.

"Nola I have to go, I'm going to call you later so we can figure out everything ok?" Karina stood up and grabbed her stuff, she grabbed my hand. "I love you!" She said.

"I love you too Karina.. See you later". I replied and sat back in my seat. Isa sat there and looked at me with an unexplainable expression. "Have you ever felt like Jace was creeping or doing something he shouldn't be?". She glanced at me.

"Hmm? Of course not..he didn't give me any reason to feel like that..he was always there by my side especially when I needed him". I said in a low tone.

Isa nodded her head. "Well I'm going to take my leave ok? Call me if you need anything or if you and Karina find out anything else alright?" She said while standing up.

I nodded.

"I love you". Isa said softly.

"I love you too". I replied as I watch Isa smile and leave.
