Chapter 6 Billionaire's Betrayal: A Love Lost

Two days had passed, and Daniel and Bella's relationship had improved, and Bella's relationship with Edward had also improved after Bella herself apologized to both of them, albeit at different times. And that was on the advice and with a little help from Angel.

Bella seemed still comfortable with her relationship with two men at once, although she felt conflicted in her heart. But it couldn't be denied that she felt she couldn't let go of either of them, even though Bella clearly showed her dislike for Daniel's attitude towards her. The woman was so complicated.

Behind Bella's behavior of cheating on Daniel, eventually, she would surely face karma because karma was very real. It's just that she wasn't aware of karma yet.

Like now, with Bella's enthusiasm to come to Daniel's office with plans to bring him lunch she cooked herself. Now the woman was ready with her revealing clothes that always made Daniel angry.

But Bella always ignored what Daniel said; she remained true to herself by wearing her favorite clothes, a slightly tight above-the-knee dress with an open top. Who knows how Daniel would react when he saw Bella's appearance, which always seemed to be showing off to other men. Did Bella not know that Daniel really didn't like it when his property was admired by other men?

"Ready, time to go," Bella said with a cheerful smile on her face. She promptly bid farewell to her mother and went to Daniel's office driving her own car.

In short, the woman had arrived at Daniel's office, she casually went to Daniel's room, and no one stopped her because Daniel's employees knew Bella's status as Daniel's girlfriend.

Without knocking on Daniel's special office door, Bella just entered. She was immediately greeted with the sight of Daniel, who was busy with his laptop.

Bella smiled at that. "Darling," she called softly with her typical gentle voice that always made Daniel addicted.

"Darling, are you here alone?" Daniel immediately looked at his girlfriend before his gaze sharpened when he noticed Bella's attire.

"Yes," Bella replied casually as she sat herself on the sofa in Daniel's room.

Daniel remained silent and got up from his chair. "Why are you dressed like this again?" he asked with a flat expression while looking at Bella from the side after sitting next to her.

Bella still looked relaxed even though she got such a question from Daniel because Bella was busy arranging lunch on the table, so she didn't look at Daniel's unfriendly face.

"Please, don't forbid me again to dress like this, Daniel, I feel restrained," Bella said, looking at Daniel with a firm gaze, although in her heart, she was slightly hesitant when she saw Daniel's sharp gaze.

"Let's eat lunch first, I've cooked your favorite food," Bella changed the subject while diverting her gaze from Daniel's sharp eyes.

Daniel just remained silent with his hidden annoyance. Seeing that, Bella took the initiative to start spooning the food and directed it towards Daniel's mouth.

"Let's eat, darling," Bella said gently, making Daniel melt and end up accepting a spoonful from his girlfriend.

But as Daniel was being fed, he remained silent because he was still angry with Bella, who now began to defy him and no longer obeyed what he said.

After Bella's return after they had lunch together, now Daniel was back to dealing with his piled-up work. Daniel felt like clearing all his work so he could go home early and meet Bella again, although he was still a little annoyed by Bella's increasingly uncontrollable stubbornness.

"Huffhh!" Daniel sighed softly, he paused his focus on his laptop for a moment, leaning back in his oversized chair.

He then unlocked his phone with the intention of sending a message to Bella. It was clear that Daniel couldn't stay angry or upset with his girlfriend for long because he was deeply in love with Bella.

Daniel furrowed his brow in confusion when he received a message from an unknown number, especially since the number sent him several photos and videos that made Daniel curious and immediately opened them.

"Damn it! What is this!" Daniel cursed, holding back his emotions after a few seconds of seeing and digesting the videos and photos sent by the unknown number.

"What does all of this mean? Is Bella really cheating or does this person just want to ruin my relationship with Bella?" Daniel muttered to himself, restraining himself from leaving the office immediately because he felt like he wanted to meet Bella right away and demand an explanation for all the videos and photos.

For several minutes, Daniel remained silent after saying that. He continued to examine the videos and photos showing Bella's intimacy with a strange man he didn't know.

Daniel's logic told him that what he saw was indeed real and not edited or staged. Slowly, his hands clenched tightly until the veins on his hands bulged, not to mention his jaw also tightened as if he wanted to get angry but still restrained himself.

"Bella, you really make me angry," Daniel muttered before he called someone using the mobile phone on his desk. The sound of the man's movements sounded terrible after he finished calling someone without any small talk.

Then shortly afterward, Virgo entered Daniel's room with a look of surprise. Apparently, he was the one called by Daniel.

"Why? Why did you call me? I'm busy, you know," Virgo asked with a complaint at the end. He never hesitated to show his complaints in front of his boss.

Virgo was surprised when he entered Daniel's room and was immediately greeted with Daniel's terrifying expression.

"Find out about the man with Bella!" Daniel ordered with a commanding tone while handing his phone to Virgo.

Virgo received the phone with a puzzled look, but he couldn't help but look at the contents of Daniel's phone and carefully watch the videos inside.

"Oh my, what is this? Is Bella cheating? This looks clear and not like an edit," Virgo thought to himself with a shock that couldn't be hidden. He was very surprised to see the facts he saw, and Virgo immediately concluded that the video was not edited in terms of the quality of the footage and the evidence of the affair.

"Find out immediately, Virgo! I don't want to wait long!" Daniel spoke again with a voice that seemed to be holding back anger.

Upon hearing this, Virgo immediately nodded obediently and left Daniel's room to carry out the task given by his boss.

"I won't stay silent, Bella," Daniel muttered with a purpose or plan he would execute.
