"Oh, come on, Mr. Seir. You've repeated that phrase several times," Gala replied, walking ahead.
"Yeah, sorry... It's just that I'm experiencing a place like this for the first time. It's like being in Europe," Seir responded.
"By the way, Gala, what if we become adventurers?" Seir suggested enthusiastically.
"I've read about it in fantasy novels. As adventurers, we can explore this world more closely... I can also enhance my imaginative abilities even further." Seir continued explaining with enthusiasm.
Gala responded with excitement, "Exactly, Mr. Seir. I'm very excited to see what we'll find at the Adventurer's Guild."
After walking for a while, they arrived in front of a large building adorned with the silhouette of a heroic sword. The Adventurer's Guild, where adventurers from various places gathered to register and share information.
Seir opened the heavy door, and the scent of fresh wood welcomed them. They entered, finding a long corridor with leaderboards and announcements of various adventure tasks.
Inside the guild, the atmosphere was lively and cheerful. Adventurers conversed with each other, sharing their experiences or offering tips and tricks.
"Mr. Seir! Gala!" a loud voice called from a corner of the room. A gallant-looking adventurer approached them, his long blond hair fluttering in the air, adding a brave impression to his figure.
"Who is he?" Seir whispered to Gala.
"My name is Malvin. I'm a mid-level adventurer here. I heard you just arrived in this city. Are you here to register?" Malvin asked with a friendly smile.
"Oh, I didn't expect us to become famous, Mr. Seir," Gala remarked to Seir.
"Of course. Who wouldn't notice people dressed as strangely as we are?" Seir replied in his thoughts.
Seir and Gala nodded, and Malvin immediately led them to the registration desk. There, a friendly officer asked for their information.
"I'm glad to see more adventurers joining," said the receptionist while noting down Seir and Gala's names.
After the registration process was complete, Malvin took them on a tour of the guild. He introduced them to some other adventurers, and the friendly and cheerful atmosphere warmed Seir's heart.
"They are all great and experienced. This guild has many adventure tasks you can take. If you need help or have questions, don't hesitate to ask anyone here," Malvin said with enthusiasm.
Seir observed the leaderboard, noting down the names of some famous adventurers. One of them was known as the "Night Shadow," a legendary monster hunter.
Gala caught Seir's attention, "Mr. Seir, maybe we could try some tasks here. It could be a great opportunity to understand this world more deeply."
"Great idea, Gala. You're indeed the best!" Seir replied with a joyful smile.
"N-nothing, Mr. Seir..." Gala replied, blushing and turning away.
Seir agreed, and together with Gala, they searched for adventure tasks suitable for their skill level. After a while, they chose a task to investigate the disturbance of monsters near the entrance of the Great Forest.
Malvin gave advice, "This task is suitable for beginners. You can gain your first experience and help protect the surrounding area."
"Correct. You both are from the Great Forest, right? So, this task should be easy for you," Malvin added.
"I'll join you, as a guide. Even though you've been to that place, having someone more knowledgeable about monsters might be useful," Malvin continued.
With enthusiasm, Seir, Gala, and Malvin prepared for their first adventure. They left the Adventurer's Guild with determination, ready to face any challenges that awaited them.
The day passed quickly, and the sun slowly set on the western horizon as they left the city. A new adventure had begun, and Seir's steps, along with Gala, became more confident.
The Great Forest presented beauty and mystery in Seir, Gala, and Malvin's adventure. Towering giant trees created canopies that partially blocked the sunlight. The gentle wind played with the leaves, creating a dance and harmonizing the forest's atmosphere.
Seir looked around, "This forest... The first place I visited and your birthplace, Gala." Seir said to Gala, who walked behind him. Malvin, who was in front, did not hear.
Gala smiled, "Mr. Seir, you're right. This is where we first met. I still remember when I was like a robot, only thinking when ordered. Now I'm more like a human, capable of independent thought and emotions. Let's focus on our task. The monster we're looking for should be around here."
Malvin led them closer to the entrance of the forest. At the forest's entrance, there was a cave where monsters often hid, and sometimes adventurers stopped by. The sound of calm rippling water accompanied their steps. Seir pointed towards a dark and mysterious natural cave.
"This seems like a suspicious place. Monsters often gather there," Malvin said seriously.
Seir nodded, "Let's prepare ourselves. Gala, do you sense any monsters around?"
Gala observed their surroundings, "There are some strange auras inside that cave. I'm sure those are monsters."
Malvin drew his sword, "It's time for action. Stay cautious, and we'll surely complete this task."
They entered the cave cautiously. The air's humidity increased as they ventured deeper. Water droplets from stalactites above created a natural melody. As they explored, their footsteps echoed on the brittle stone walls.
"Ssst... Mr. Seir, listen. There's an unusual sound," Gala whispered with sparkling eyes.
Seir approached them, peering into the darkness of the cave. The rustle of wings and mysterious whispers filled the air. "We're not alone here. Get ready for battle."
Shadowy monsters passed in front of them. One of them, with wings spread wide, roared echoing in the cave. The battle began; the light of swords and magic united against threatening shadows of the night.
In the intense struggle, Seir felt the vibrations of magical energy filling the cave. Gala stood by his side, incorporating her magical elements into the fight. Malvin, with his sword skills, became the focal point in cutting a path through the monsters.
"Mr. Seir, be careful with its wing attacks!" Gala shouted while launching magical attacks.
Seir leaped to avoid a powerful blow directed at him. The shadowy monster went berserk, unleashing consecutive attacks. Malvin shielded Seir, deflecting each blow with his sturdy sword.
"Maintain this formation; we're close to defeating it!" Malvin yelled.
Just as the battle reached its peak, a bright light illuminated the cave. The shadowy monster let out a final roar before disappearing into tiny particles. Simultaneously, Seir, Gala, and Malvin saw someone emerge from behind the light.
"Incredible! You managed to defeat Shadowclaw! Not many new adventurers can do that," said the figure emerging from the light. He had a mysterious appearance, with a black cloak fluttering behind him.
"It's okay; we're just doing our duty as adventurers," Malvin replied.
"I am Arion, one of the top-level adventurers in the city of Zonis. The three of you have great potential," Arion continued seriously. "However, remember that adventures are not always about bravery but also about wisdom."
"Arion!? The adventurer 'Night Shadow'?" Malvin, who was very excited.
"You're correct, lad. That's me." Arion replied with a slight smile.
"Wow... I never thought I'd be this lucky. Meeting you is a great achievement for me." Malvin replied with respect.
"Hey, Malvin. Who's that person?" Seir whispered to Malvin.
"How could you not know! He is the legendary adventurer in Zonis, the 'Night Shadow'." Malvin whispered back, looking at Seir with a bewildered expression.
"How would I know? In the guild ranking, it only says 'Night Shadow'." Seir whispered back with a puzzled look.
Gala, with a serious expression, telepathically communicated with Seir, "Mr. Seir, this person is powerful for someone in this world, but both I and you can easily defeat him by showing a little of our power."
"You're right, Gala. But for now, let's just follow his lead. Show a bit of our power. I'll create a power like Telekinesis with magical energy to avoid suspicion." Seir replied telepathically.
"Then I'll also only use dark magic within the level of this world, Mr. Seir." Gala replied telepathically with a smile.
They conversed with Arion, who provided insights into the dynamics of the Adventurer's Guild and the challenges they might face in the future. Afterward, they returned to the city of Zonis, carrying a magical stone as proof of their first adventure accomplishment.
