Chapter 5 5

Meisha's POV

The blood kept dripping from my head causing my other comrades to be confused. Seia immediately approached me and touched my shoulder.

"Meisha! What are you thinking ?! Are you crazy already? Why did you knock yourself out the window ?! " I heard it shout.

Ah. It doesn't echo anymore. My side no longer hurts and I can no longer feel the pain on my forehead.

I looked at Seia before the broken glass at my foot. The criticism in my eyes seems to have disappeared as well.

Could it be because of what I saw?

I immediately smiled at the absence before looking at Seia again, "Looks like I just need to see blood to get rid of the pain in my body." I said before laughing weakly.

But Seia didn't seem to like that and let me go quickly. I also saw in its eyes the astonishment and horror.

"M-Meisha...?" he stuttered because I looked at him in surprise but I was surprised when a palm touched my cheek.

He slapped me so hard that I was stunned.

"Have you lost your mind ?! Wake up Meisha! " it shouts at me.

My forehead immediately wrinkled. I don't know but I feel like there is something wrong with my body and my actions. Pero

"What I said is true. I'm not crazy. " I spoke to him seriously.

It just twisted tightly before going to the car and picking up the handkerchief I had left there. It approached me before wiping my face and covering my wound with a handkerchief.

It was obvious on his face that he was just holding his breath just to tie the wound on my forehead so that I could get along.

I also noticed the faces of my companion who could not believe. It was as if they had just seen such an event.

I also don't know why I did that. I just feel like when that happens something will change.

But what's even more surprising, is my habit. Instead of crying, I seemed to be overjoyed.

My two eyebrows went up when Kael approached me. He just frowned at me. I'm sure he'll scold me too.

Who is as stupid as a fool to bump himself out the window? Of course I am haha.

I saw Kael raise her hand causing me to close my eyes. I thought it would slap me but it didn't. Instead, it even grabbed my hand and pulled.

"I'm sure it's because of what happened to you that you're like that. I also won't ask why you did that stupid thing. " He said reason for me to look at its face.

There was no expression as if I was just standing on a big wall talking.

"Wait?" my forehead furrowed as he piggybacked me.

"Don't complain." He said more.

I stopped talking and gently hugged his neck so as not to fall. I also made sure I didn't choke it while walking.

But I noticed that Cindy and I looked straight at each other. And I know why he's getting better.

It's just based on the way Kael and Cindy treat each other as if someone is mediating between them. But he has nothing to worry about because I have no intention of ruining the relationship.

"Tch." I just sighed at the lack of reason for Kael to look at me.

He just frowned as he looked at me and seemed to be wondering what I was doing. If he prioritizes, can he look at the road first?

"Why?" I said before covering my mouth and nose again.

Shit. How many hours have I not covered my nose?

"I don't know if it's right that we took you with us. We don't know anything about you and my other colleagues don't trust you very much. " He said before turning his gaze back to the road. "I know it hurts to hear this for you. But we really can't help but be like that. "

I calmed down at what he said and just looked at the road again. I was also a little hurt by what he said but that's just right because I might really be a monster in a few days.

"It's better that you don't trust me anymore. I feel even more calm. " I said before yawning and leaning my head on its shoulder.

I even felt that it stopped walking for a while but I didn't think about it yet. I'm too sleepy.

Kael's POV

I thought too much about what Meisha said to the point that I didn't even realize that we had moved away from the car we left. We didn't carry anything because of what happened to us.

We also didn't wear a mask that made us even more nervous. What if we inhale too much chemical gas? Does that mean we will give up our bodies?

What if the real reason for those people being monsters is this fog that covers the whole place? Does that mean we will also be affected?

"Kael." I quickly turned to Cindy when she touched me.

"Aren't you tired of carrying Meisha? If you let Peter do that first- "

"Oh ?! Why me? It's like you're making me its Nanny. " Peter immediately complained in the back.

I sighed before shaking my head and looking at Cindy, "It's okay for me to lift her. He is not that heavy. " I even spoke to him.

I don't seem to be doing anything because of Meisha's excessive lightness. I keep wondering what it really eats every day.

"Pre, look at that building." Finn once approached us and immediately pointed to a building that had obviously collapsed.

"Why? What's there? " I asked immediately.

"Isn't that the small hospital near the campus?" Cindy suddenly groaned at us as she narrowed her eyes in the direction Finn was pointing.

"That's right. I was thinking that maybe we can stop for a moment and look for something inside. " I frowned at what Finn said before thinking twice.

It would be dangerous if we all went inside that hospital. It's just that based on the collapsed walls here, it doesn't seem like it will last much longer.

But if there are only a few of us, there's a possibility that our chances of getting stuff inside and getting stuck without the building collapsing a bit.

I inhaled a little before sighing. We have no choice, if we want to live long we have to face and fight death.

"You have a point. But who among us will enter? We are only three men and the rest are all women. If we leave them here, something bad might happen to them. "I said and stopped for a moment to watch my colleagues.

I heard Finn sigh as well. He also seems to have a hard time making a decision because of our situation now.

"Then, take a woman and leave a man. There are many of us and I think we can protect each other. " I heard Cindy say.

That's still not a good idea.

"I'll just let the pope leave. Just include Kloe after all, she is also studying in med school. " Presented by Finn.

Not that bad. We would be able to find medicines and other equipment faster if we included Kloe.

"Hmm?" I was like a statue in my position when I heard Meisha moan.

I could feel its warm breath giving me shivering. Shit. I feel like it's warming up too.

"Kael, is there a problem? You are sweating. " Cindy said as she wiped my face.

I swallowed my own saliva when I felt Meisha bring her mouth close to my neck. Fvck! I know Meisha knows nothing of what she's doing but I can't help but be distracted!

I bit my lower lip before looking at Cindy, "You talk first. I just woke Meisha up. Tell Chloe about what we talked about as well. " I said before looking for a place for him to sleep.

I saw a car with broken glass so I immediately went there to lay Meisha down. It's better for him to sleep here than on my shoulder.

Because if he repeated that, I might go crazy. I'm just a man and I feel that way.

Just as I was about to lay Meisha down, I suddenly felt a cold liquid on my shoulder. So I immediately looked at him thinking he might be salivating.

But not.

She is crying. I don't know what's going on with him but I'm feeling he's having nightmares.

During the past few days when he was still unconscious, the same thing happened to him. It's pathetic. I think his conscience is attacking him.

Isn't that because of what he said? As far as I know, he himself killed his sister.

"Pre, I thought you were going to put him to bed? Hurry up there. We will still go inside the hospital. " Peter said just arriving at our place.

"All right Pre, I'm next." I said quickly before refocusing my gaze on Meisha.

I felt Peter pat my arm before laughing softly, "Just slow down. It might melt. " Teasing it before leaving.

Krazy Peter.

I just laughed at what I thought before shaking my head. I slowly laid Meisha on the hood of the car before fixing her hair that was blocking her face.

The sadness on his face is still obvious here. I just shook my head and was about to leave when suddenly something entered my mind.

"I'm sorry, I forgot." I said softly before pulling out of my pocket the gemstone owned by Meisha.

I think it's important to him. It's not dangerous so it's okay to touch.

I slowly laid her gemstone on her side. But even before I left, I saw that it glowed for a moment causing me to be alert.

I was going to prepare myself for what would happen when any of those monsters came out, but all of a sudden the gemstone's glow disappeared.

Weird.

Seia's POV

"The duration of Kuya." Kloe complained while looking in Kael's direction.

It's a bit far from us and it's still turned so I can't see what Kael is doing.

"Maybe he's still laying Meisha down, just let him." Cindy immediately said the reason for Kloe to raise an eyebrow.

"Really? Cindy, I really heard that earlier. " Chloe's words to him were unbelievable.

I just gasped before shaking. Even when it's really Chloe too immature.

"Guys." We turned to Kael when she suddenly called us. "Before we enter, I just want you to keep an eye on Meisha. I haven't been able to wake him up yet because it seems like the depth of his sleep. "

"Wow, special." Kloe whispered before standing up.

I immediately approached him and pinched his side causing him to moan weakly. She deserve it.

"Also, watch around. We don't know when the monsters will attack. " Kael added, we just nodded before smiling.

After a long reminder from Kael and me, they finally decided to leave. I even watched them enter the building even though I was nervous.

I can't avoid it either. Both of our lives are in danger. Whether inside that hospital or here outside, everything is dangerous.

I took a deep breath before going to Meisha. As Kael said I really watched it.

I'm not like others who have a lot of complaints. They just don't let me know what I want.

"Aren't you afraid to be alone here?" I looked at the person who spoke.

Si Finn.

"I'm not afraid to die." I said while watching Meisha's face.

I noticed that Meisha's face was a bit pale. Is it because of the wound on his forehead?

Hays! Is it stupid? Why did he bang himself on the window?

"Based on how you look, it looks like you have a grudge." My two eyebrows went up because of what Finn said.

"If you can speak, it's like you know me." I said before laughing softly.

I heard Meisha moan softly causing us to look at her. Looks like we woke him up.

"You're the noise." When I blame Finn.

He suddenly pointed to himself, "Why me? You are the one near there. "

My mouth fell open at what Finn said and I was about to speak when Meisha suddenly spoke.

"You can be the same." There was no emotion in his utterance while lying on the hood of the car.

It got up from lying down and turned sesame seeds around. His forehead furrowed when he saw the gemstone next to him.

"I thought .. just a dream?" Meisha whispered causing me to frown.

What does he mean in just a dream?

I just shrugged, "How are you feeling?" I asked him to immediately change our topic.

Only now did I notice that we had left Cindy where we had been. Well, Meisha seems to be as responsible as me and I know Cindy can handle herself.

Just don't make him look silly.
