In a few days time, by morning, Christie stood before the skyscraper building of Vistlon Corp.
After submitting her CV and resume online, she came here today for the interview. She wonders who will interview her, will it be Alexa Vistlon himself?
She hopes not, she doesn't know what she might do if she sees the man. She hated the Vistlons with everything she had but she will control herself.
She took a deep breath and started to walk into the building. This? This was just the first step of her revenge plan.
Luckily when she got in, she was directed by the receptionist to the office of the personnel manager who would be interviewing them and not Alexa himself- Of course that's how it should be, what was she thinking?
Alexa interview himself?
Pfft.
After the interview which was a piece of cake for Christie, as this wasn't the first time she was doing this... infiltrating her target's place of work.
Christie decided to take a little stroll around the place. The place was so huge, she was only able to check out some few layers in the building before she decided to leave. Besides, by the time she gets the job, which she was very confident she will get, she would have enough time and privilege to tour this whole place.
When she got home, she decided to give Brian a call to update him on her progress, not like she wanted to.
"Hello, Lieutenant Brian Ridley. This is Christie," she started.
{Brian would do please} she heard him say.
"Yeah, whatever. I just called to update you," Christie replied.
{Good thing you are following. So tell me, why did you go to Vistlon Corp. today?}
Oh...the tracker.
"Well, I went there for the interview, for the job of secretary and PA to Alexa Vistlon, CEO of Vistlon Corp. . The NSA did say I should find a way to infiltrate the Vistlons," Christie responded.
{Good, I wish you luck. By the way, do you always share your apartment with Katherine McNamara?}
What the...
"Are you guys spying on me as well?" Christie questioned.
{We need to protect our interest-} BEEP!
Christie hanged up. How dare they?
She let out a breath. Well now, she has just one more thing to take care of.
That douchebag Phantom.

A young man just pulled up in the parking lot of a penthouse.
He came out of the car and was soon in the building. He took the elevator to his penthouse upstairs.
When he got there, he clapped his hands, making the lights to automatically turn on. He hung his coat and proceeded to his secret room where he kept all his trophies.
He wanted to go check on the most valuable one he had recently obtained, which he will be selling off soon.
When he got there, he walked towards where he had kept it but...he couldn't find it anymore. He wished his eyes were fooling him or his mind was playing mind games with him. But the harsh reality kept hitting him.
"I kept the damn vase here!" he soliloquized. Then he spotted a note on the place he had kept the vase.
He picked it up and read it, "Turn around, love," he turned around and immediately saw Christie.
"Deadly whisper," he uttered. Then before he could react, Christie knocked him out by hitting his head.
Then she tied him up, and made a phone call to the police after that.
"Hello...I have a lead on where the wanted criminal Phantom is. He is currently at the penthouse in Louisette vent avenue," Christie informed then hanged up.
She turned to gaze at Phantom one last time. "This will teach you not to double cross me next time," she told with a smirk and she was out of the penthouse in the next minute, with the vase.
~Few hours earlier...
After the personnel manager was done interviewing all the candidates for the job, he brought the details of the most potential five to Mr. Alexa Vistlon, so that he could review it and choose who he would prefer most to be his new secretary and PA.
Alexa flipped through the files of the candidates and Christie happened to be among the lucky five. When he got to her information, his gaze lingered on it for a longer time.
A photo of her pretty face which was attached to the file, just rings a bell to him, but he couldn't quite pinpoint why.
A couple of days later, Christie grinned mischievously as she stood before Vistlon Corp. again. She really actually got an email from them stating that she got the job.
She knew she would get it.
She eventually walked into the building, everywhere were buzzing with various employees carrying out their required tasks. Her lips curved up as she flashed a small smile at one of the receptionist as she began to walk towards the reception counter.
"Good morning, Christie. Reporting for your first day I see," the receptionist who she smiled at said, welcoming her.
Christie nodded.
"Well congrats once again. You don't know how many people were fighting for this position you just landed," the receptionist continued.
A woman walked up to them;
"Christie... Christie Brinkley?" she inquired.
"That's me," Christie replied. She had changed her last name.
"Good, this way please," the woman uttered as she began to lead the way. Christie followed her.
"I'm Brenda by the way. I'm the head of the personnel department," the woman told. Head of personnel department, oh. Christie had been interviewed that day, by a man, the personnel manager.
"Here's your employee ID," she offered. Christie collected it, it already had a neck feature and so she wore it over her head.
"Where you will be situated is right outside Mr. Vistlon's office, so he can get quick access to you," she continued and push the button to open an elevator.
It opened and they entered the elevator. Brenda pushed the top floor and the elevator started moving upwards immediately.
They got there and they walked towards Alexa Vistlon's office.
"Here," Brenda pointed at where her stance was. It consisted of a counter, a chair, computer, intercom, everything a PA/Secretary will ever need to be competent.
It was right outside Alexa Vistlon's office.
"Let's go see Mr. Vistlon first before you commence duty," Brenda told.
She knocked on the door of his office and only opened it when she got his signal. They walked in, Christie's heart was hammering violently against her rib cage.
Was she nervous?
Why was she nervous? She swallowed and took a deep breath. She can do this, she can, she has to.
Her eyes came in contact with a man who sat on his swirling chair looking so powerful like the boss he was, this was Alexa Vistlon. His eyes focused on the paperwork in front of him and he didn't even bother to look at them.
"Good morning sir. Your new PA and secretary is here, ready to commence duty," Brenda announced.
He sent Brenda away with just a hand signal. He didn't gaze up at Christie but instead, continued with his work. She stood there for minutes, she hasn't greeted him, was that why he wasn't saying anything yet?
"Good morning, sir," she voiced.
He didn't respond, didn't even look at her. 'Rude,' she thought.
Her knees were becoming weak as she stood for more than a hour. The man was still so engrossed in his work.
'Isn't his butt aching him already?' she asked herself.
She felt like punching this scumbag in the face. How can he keep someone standing for more than a hour? But she didn't expect less from a man from the Vistlon family.
Seeing him just reminded her of everything she had gone through, everything she had lost. She wished she had a gun, so she would shoot him, send him to hell as he feels how it feels like to bleed to death from a bullet.
So that his family will know the pain of losing a loved one as it was so easy for them to take a life.
"Christie Brinkley, right?" she finally heard him say. His voice so deep and manly.
"Y-Yes," she almost stammered. What's wrong with her?
'Get yourself together, Christie. You've gotta pull this off,' she scolded herself.
He finally raised his head to face her. His expression was nonchalant and icy at the same time.
He was as good looking as he was in the pictures she has seen of him, in fact even more breathtaking. He had jet black hair and his uncaring grey eyes continued to linger on her.
Why was she feeling this way? For the first time in years, someone was actually making her to break into cold sweat. His gaze and aura were just giving her an uneasy feeling.
