Chapter 10 Seduce me

A gasp escaped her lips when she felt her body hit the bed as he hovered above her, his clasp on her neck was firm and strangling.

His grip on her loosen as he realizes it was just her, he was just impulsively defensive because of the kind of lifestyle he led.

They remained in that position for the next few seconds before he slowly let go of her. She rolled away from under him and stood up coughing a little, due to his previous grasp on her neck.

She could have been able to fight him off but she didn't because she didn't want to show this man any part of her that wasn't feminine, at least not yet.

He stood up as well; "What are you doing in my room?"

She didn't respond immediately.

"I'm sincerely sorry sir, I was just taking a look around your house. As your PA, I need to know most of the layouts of your house in case anything comes up. I didn't know this was your room, I didn't mean to barge in," she explained apologetically.

He walked closer to her, his hands crossed on his chest and her eyes fell on the little action before returning to meet his gaze again.

"Okay, let's just assume that. But when you 'accidentally' walked into my room, the best thing you could think of was touching me intead of shutting my door and walking away," he curved a brow at her, she was beginning to realize it was a habit of him.

Yeah, she could have shut the door and walked away but...

Why was he even still dragging this on, longer than it should be dragged. She thought her apology could have settled it. Tsk, he is so petty.

While in thoughts, she didn't know when he moved even closer to her that they were inches apart.

"Ms. Brinkley," he started, jolting her out of thought. Their current proximity took her off guard, this was the second time they were sharing such small space. His fresh manly scent wafted across her nose.

He scoffed, "Why are you blushing?"

"Huh?" was she blushing? She didn't realize that. Her hands went to her cheeks immediately, they were hot. Why was she blushing?

"What were you trying to do when you decided to touch me?" he asked further, when she didn't respond to his earlier question.

She blushed even more to his question. Why was she feeling so embarrassed right now? She could easily excuse her way out of this situation. Why was her mind acting so slow right now? And especially in front of this man of all people?

She didn't respond once again.

He huffed, "Look here 'Christie'. I know what you are trying to do,"

What?

"What do you mean sir?" she asked.

His lips pulled up into a small smile which vanished almost immediately it had appeared.

"You are trying to seduce me," he uttered.

"Huh? W-What? Of course not sir-"

"Sssh I know your types and Ms. Brinkley, you are not my type and I don't date my employees," he cuts in.

"I beg your pardon sir. This is a misunder-"

"So flustered," he interrupted her once again, he looked so amused right now, at her being flustered. This was the second emotion she was reading from him, it vanished immediately as he continued;

"I hope you brought the documents I asked you to bring,"

"Yes sir," she bit her lower lip, feeling pissed off that she was just misunderstood by this man.

"Okay, go wait for me downstairs. I will be with you shortly," he responded.

"Okay sir," she replied and walked out of his room.

She screamed in her throat, in frustration. 'You are not my type,' 'I don't date my employees,' what was all that?

Who says she wanted to date him? He also wasn't even close to her type. Hmmf!

She walked down the stairs, her steps slowed down gradually as she approaches the living room and came in contact with Eric Vistlon.

Why him? Why right now? What was he doing here?

"Now who do we have here, the world is truly a small one indeed," Eric started with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

"Indeed. What are you doing here?" Christie replied.

"What a question, I should be asking you that. I just came to see my brother, Alexa Vistlon. Is this fate, arranged or just a mere coincidence?" Eric inquired.

"You tell me," she responded.

"I'm Eric Vistlon by the way and you are?" he asked but she isn't going to tell him her name just yet.

She scoffed and started to walk away but she felt her back on the wall in the next second. Eric had pinned her to the wall, one of his hands was above her head while the other trapped her by the side.

They held each other's gaze. Just how many times a day was she going to get into small spaces with the Vistlon men. Was this some kind of specialty of them?

Eric's eyes went down to her lips, he couldn't help but run his tongue across his upper lip and the tip of his upper teeth at the sight of her alluring lips. This woman was the epitome of beauty.

'What was that?' Christie asked herself after Eric performed that little action. This man was even more annoying than his overbearing twin brother.

"We weren't done talking. Who are you and what are you doing here?" he inquired, not playing around anymore.

Was he suspicious of her? She can't have that.

"I'm your brother's new secretary and PA and meeting you at the club that day was just a mere coincidence," she finally responded.

"I see. But does my brother knows that his secretary is a karate master?" he inquired.

"You wouldn't tell him," she replied and one of his fingers wrapped around a strand of her brown hair.

"Of course. It's our little secret," he grinned mischievously at her.

"Ahem!" Alexa, who had finished freshening and dressing up, walked in on them. Their gazes went to him but they were still in the compromising position.

"What's going on here? Do you two know each other?" Alexa questioned.
