After a final nod, Lucid decisively stepped into the portal, entering the portal. Lucid felt as though he was entering a tunnel filled with soft brushes. The portal didnt feel as Lucid expected after all in most movies and anime, when the characters enter a portal they appear on the other side with some slight headache or dizziness but for this portal, it was completely different.

When he came out of the portal, Lucid felt refreshed as though he had left his fatigue behind in the portal, not only that, the steady feeling that he was in a state of both life and death had disappeared completely.

All this while, Lucid could tell that he was still astral traveling or whatever he was actually doing was called but now, he didn't have that feeling anymore. If Lucid didn't know better, he would have thought that he was back in his physical body again. As he came out the portal, Lucid immediately started looking around his environment.

Lucid found himself inside a grand hall but unlike a normal hall, apart from the middle aisle which was unreasonably big, everywhere else was covered by shelves which were all endlessly tall and seemed to stretch for eternity and all filled with endless books.

As Lucid finally settled into his environment, the heavy scent of old books.... Sorry ancient books surrounded him. In this type environment, Lucid couldn't help feeling oppressed. Yes, he was smart but that was only where creativity was concerned, he was no different from a goat when it came to book smarts.

"Zhang Xuan would ascend heaven if he found this place" Lucid commented as he looked around the hall and the towering shelves.

[He wishes!] A voice said out of nowhere, scaring Lucid shitless.

"Who said that" Lucid replied after calming down, he knew that if the other party wanted him dead then he would have being dead than even the word 'Dead'

[Oh don't mind me, i don't get people up here that much] The voice replied and in the next second, Lucid saw energy visibly gathering before him as it formed a humanoid shape.

The energy was continuously condensed until it formed a body no different from a normal human body. Words couldn't even begin to imagine what was going through Lucid's mind at this moment.

This being just manipulated energy in front of him and not only that, he had basically created a human body from scratch. Lucid knew that to a God this may be normal but for him who had only seen this kind of thing in movies and even then he was amazed by them talk less of now, when it happened right in front of his eyes.

"Wha...how?" Lucid asked extremely shocked

[Don't worry, it is to be expected but this is actually very normal at least for me.... Anyway My name is Akasha and I created this place. You can imagine my surprise when someone decided to select me as their patron] the being now known as Akasha said happily as he stretched out his hands for a handshake but Lucid was too busy comprehending what Akasha's words meant.

"Oh sorry, ehm my name is Lucid King, sorry the name is weird" Lucid said as he shook Akasha's hand, he was shaking the hands of a being that was older than time itself, how old does that even make him

[Oh don't worry about it and also please mind what you think, I am Omniscient and can hear it] Akasha warned

"Shit" Lucid called out in shock, not only was the Akashic Record not just an ordinary artifact, it was also Omniscient. This was enough for Lucid to comprehend what he was dealing with here. It simply meant that there would be no secrets here

"Oh don't worry about it too much, there is no type of thought i haven't heard even your dirtiest thought is mild compared to what i hear most times" Akasha said to calm him down and surprisingly it actually worked as Lucid calmed down seconds after hearing that as his focus was more on the thoughts that were even dirtier than his own.

"Okay but what am i really her..... Wait did you just speak englis..... You know what don't answer that" Lucid said after realizing his mistake, Akasha was Omniscient, English wouldn't be hard for him to learn

"Well to answer your first question, Several Mortals were chosen from across all young Universes, yours included, so they can learn from various gods in order for them to pass the trails their universe is going to go through, in simple terms, this is a training arc for the randomly chosen main characters of the various universe" Akasha explained as he turned and started walking deeper into the hall

"Okay that explains it all so since you accepted my proposal then you will be responsible for my training right" Lucid asked as he ran after the surprisingly fast Akasha, he seemed to be walking at a normal pace but he was still very fast.

[Yes but first you have to go through my version of the disciple acceptance ritual] Akasha said after arriving at the end of the hall,

At the end of the hall was a massive arc which led to a massive pool which held water that gave Lucid a holy feeling, it was as though he was before true holy water. Lucid was confused, he had expected that his test would have being to answer some questions or to see how fast he read or something like that but he never expected to see a pool on the other side, did Akasha want him to swim or something

[Yes, It is indeed Holy water, since you are the only one to ever choose me as a patron since the beginning of this program and your creativity meets the mark, you get to skip all the tests and become my disciple immediately] Akasha explained with a smile
