Chapter 10 Are the Turner Family Pigs

Bob glanced at the dirt on her body and ignored her.

Emma jumped slightly, sitting on the pine table, swaying her legs and saying, "In fact, people are like plants. We won't feel fine if we don't get bathed under the sun."

This was actually Emma's "Plan A for dealing with Bob." She believed Bob's family had reasoned with him many times. If that had worked, they might not have gone so far. So she should take an indirect method.

She thought he was unhappy, but what could make people happy in time and efficiently? Of course it was dopamine.

Dopamine was a neurotransmitter in the brain. Once it was triggered, people would be excited and happy. Otherwise, it would cause various symptoms. Exercise could secrete dopamine, and some foods also had such an effect. Of course, doing things people liked to do was also a method. Romantic love would work as well.

Emma felt that the top priority for this guy was to go out and feel the love and beauty of this world. Only when he was in a good mood could he be full of hope in life.

"Why did you let them go?" Bob suddenly asked this question.

Emma tilted her head and didn't understand.

"Those insects."

"Oh, you mean butterflies and dragonflies." Emma smiled, "Because they have a short life span, ranging from a few weeks to a few months. How nice it is to let them fly freely."

"Then why catch them?"

"You don't understand, right? I'm telling them to be prepared for danger in times of peace. Life is full of traps. The next time they meet someone else, they won't be so lucky."

She was defending the indefensible!

Emma saw the corner of Bob's mouth move and asked in surprise, "Did you smile?"

Bob scowled, "No."

She jumped to the ground, "You just smiled."

"No." Bob felt that this kind of dialogue was naive, so he ordered, "Go out. I'm tired."

Emma walked to the bedside table and held the lunch he didn't even touch, "If you don't eat, of course you are tired." She walked up to him and asked, "Want to go on a hunger strike? Then why did you eat fried rice yesterday? Don't you feel pity to waste such good food?"

The two looked at each other. She seemed determined to solve his eating problem today.

Surprisingly, Bob should give her an unexpected answer, "It's unpalatable."

Emma was startled, "Ah? Really?"

She took a sip of mushroom soup with a spoon and had a taste, then she grinned and shook her head in disgust.

She was confused. It was made according to the recipe, why did it taste completely different?

"Excuse me, I didn't do it well. Are you hungry now? What would you like to eat?"

"You..." Bob stretched his voice, thinking for a while, "You are afraid of paying the liquidated damages, aren't you?"

"Of course." Emma was startled, wondering why he mentioned this.

"Close the door," Bob ordered.

Close the door?

Emma's heart tightened, wondering if this man was going to do something to her? But the Agreement didn't say that she should sleep with him...

But looking at Bob's clear eyes, there was no sign of evil intentions, not to mention what could he do to her with his body like this? So she comforted herself that she might think too much.

When closing the door, she clenched the plastic handle of the net bag in her hand, thinking that if he dared to mess around, she would poke this thing into his nostril.

She returned to Bob and asked timidly, "What's the matter?"

"Go find Mrs. Stock and ask her for some ready-made meals. Remember, it's you who wants to eat, not me."

Emma breathed a sigh of relief, "That's it? Okay. But don't you have any dishes to order?"

Bob snorted coldly, "Mrs. Stock's dishes are better than yours even if she made them with her eyes closed."

"Hey! Didn't you eat a lot of fried rice yesterday?" Emma walked towards the door noisily.

Bob reminded her, "Remember to take me some spiced beef if there was some. If you dare to expose me, I will make you leave tonight."

Emma rolled her eyes, "I know."

Emma felt something was wrong when she went out. She thought that Bob was pessimistic and tired of the world because of his injury, but he didn't seem that way since he still had an appetite. If so, why did he refuse to see his family and receive the treatment?

That varied from what Mike had told her, which didn't even make sense.

As she thought about this, she had already entered the main building, where Mrs. Turner and Jessica were sitting in front of the French windows and chatting.

"Judy, what were you doing when you ran around in the yard?" Mrs. Turner asked, sounding like she was lecturing her.

"Catch butterflies for Mr. Turner." Emma walked over.

Mrs. Carter glanced at Jessica and muttered, "When did Bob like butterflies?"

"Nonsense." Jessica pouted.

"He doesn't want to go out, so I can show him the colorful world outside. By the way, Mrs. Turner, where is Mrs. Stock?"

"What do you want from her?" Mrs. Turner asked suspiciously.

"Learn to make a dish so that I can cook for Mr. Turner."

Mrs. Turner stretched out her hand and pointed at the front, "Don't you know where the dining room is? You will find the kitchen after you pass the dining room."

Seeing Emma enter the aisle, Mrs. Turner said quietly, "Well, she is kind of considerate. At least she knows learning to cook."

Hearing that she was almost praising Emma, Jessica hurriedly added fuel and jealousy, "Don't believe her. She is a scheming girl. Last time she even beat..."

"Beat what?"

Jessica wanted to say that she slapped her, but she would be humiliated by the fact that she was slapped by a young girl. Given this, she said, "Break the plate. Also, she's red-handed."

Mrs. Turner turned her head, "Where did you hear this?"

"They all said that. That girl Alice only worked here for a few days, but she said she always lost things."

"There are so many people in the house. How do they know she was the one who stole it?"

"They caught her. Alice said she always sees her own stuff in Judy's house."

Mrs. Turner's face turned gloomy and she sighed lightly.

"My advice, now that you've tried your best, just let her go. Those of unknown origin are unreliable."

Emma pushed open the kitchen door, wondering if she had strayed into the back kitchen of a grand hotel. She froze there like a sculpture.

This space was too big. Not only was the space large, but the equipment inside was also large. The refrigerator was with a multi-layer sliding door, which was enough to hold five or six people in hot summer. The oven was as large as those in the baking shops. There were also several gas stoves, a cleaning area, and a vegetable preparation area. They had so much stuff in this place that she couldn't even see them all with a glance.

Were the Turner Family pigs? Could they eat up all these things?

"Judy, you are here?"
