Chapter 6 Divorce

"I think his name is Kenneth. And there's also that annoying guy named Wesley," Adrian said angrily.

Zoey's face darkened upon hearing this. She cursed in a sharp voice, "What? How dare she cheat on Waylon! How shameless she is! Where is she now? I'll beat her to death."

Adrian said, "But Mom, she told me that she and Waylon have divorced." Then he turned and looked at Waylon's angry face. "Is it true?"

Waylon didn't say anything and just pursed his lips, apparently acquiescing to Adrian.

Zoey was stunned for a while, thinking about something. Then she smiled and said, "Well, it's good that they're finally divorced. At least she is sensible enough to know what to do. In my heart, I only have Ayla as my daughter-in-law. Stella is nothing."

For some reason, Zoey's words sounded particularly harsh in Waylon's ears. So he said, "Stop it, Mom."

Then he picked up his coat and left the house.

Adrian stared at Waylon's back and asked Zoey, "Mom, is Stella really not coming back anymore?"

Zoey snorted coldly, "She won't dare come back. Even if she divorces Waylon, she won't get a penny from him."

Adrian fell silent. He lowered his head, lost in thought.

Suddenly, he felt someone's gaze on him. He subconsciously raised his head and looked up.

Then he saw Ayla standing quietly in front of the railing. He did not know how long she had been there.

Ayla met his surprised gaze and smiled gently. "Adrian..."

Adrian heard from Zoey that Ayla was the only daughter of a business tycoon. She could offer a lot of help in Waylon's career. Stella, on the other hand, was just an orphan. She would only squander Waylon's money.

So Adrian knew what he should do. He smiled and greeted politely, "Ayla..."

The next day, Stella got up early and dressed up.

She took out a tight-fitting black dress from her wardrobe and wore it. She once wore it and showed it to Waylon, but he said it was ugly. Since then, she never wore it again.

But now, aside from wearing it, she also put on delicate makeup and red lipstick. She looked very beautiful.

Stella and Waylon arrived at the court at the same time.

She put on a fake smile and said, "Mr. Burton, let's go. I'm very busy, so we have to finish this as soon as possible."

Waylon glanced at her face and said in a low voice, "Are you in such a hurry for that male model?"

Stella was stunned for a moment. Then she realized what he had misunderstood.

But she didn't explain anything. Instead, she raised her eyebrows and smiled faintly. "You have no right to interfere in my personal affairs."

Waylon didn't like her attitude. It was as if he was an insignificant person to her.

"Do you like him?"

Seeing that he was still on the same topic, Stella got a little impatient. "Yes, I like him. Are you satisfied now? Can we proceed with the divorce now?"

Waylon pursed his lips. His handsome face darkened.

Since she was in such a hurry, he would help her.

It only took them a few minutes to finish all the formalities.

When Stella looked at the divorce certificate in her hand, she suddenly felt sad.

From now on, she and Waylon had nothing to do with each other anymore. She no longer had to compromise for him.

She took a deep breath to swallow all the pain. Then she raised her head and put on a bright smile.

At this moment, a shiny black Maybach stopped in front of her.

Then Kenneth, wearing a jacket, got out of the car. As soon as he saw Stella, he smiled gently. "I'm here to pick you up."

Stella was stunned for a moment. "Didn't Wesley say he was coming?"

"He booked the whole Bliss, saying he wanted to celebrate for you tonight. He asked me to pick you up."

Kenneth took the initiative to carry her bag and said, "Get in the car first. I'll take you to a good place."
