Chapter 5 Her Diary

From Bliss, Stella said goodbye to Wesley and Kenneth, and then went back to her father's old house.

No one lived in this house anymore, and it had not been cleaned for a long time, so it was covered with dust.

Stella found an apron, put it on, and began to clean up.

When she looked under the sofa, she found a wedding photo. She and Waylon were in the photo. She was smiling happily, but Waylon next to her looked cold and impatient.

Next to the wedding photo was her diary.

This diary contained information about Waylon. She recorded what he liked to eat, the things he used, and his hobbies.

Stella gave all her attention to Waylon. She did her best to manage this hard-won marriage. But all her efforts were in vain. The reality that he could never love her slapped her in the face.

At the thought of these things, tears welled up in her eyes. She raised her head, trying to hold back her tears.

Suddenly, her phone chimed. She picked it up to check and found it was a message from Kenneth.

He said, "Stella, you helped me six years ago. It's my time to do the same to you now. Don't worry. Just do whatever you want. I'm here to back you up."

Stella felt warm in her heart upon reading this.

She knew that Kenneth really wanted to repay her. But she didn't want to rely on anyone. Since she married Waylon, she restrained her temper to be a good wife. She almost forgot how cool she was in the past.

Stella looked for Waylon's number in her phone book and called him.

"What do you want?" Waylon asked indifferently as soon as he answered.

"Tomorrow is Monday. Remember to go to the court to get the divorce certificate."

Waylon frowned. "You..."

But before he could finish his words, Stella hung up the phone. He held his phone tightly, and his face darkened.

"Waylon, who is it?" Ayla asked, lying on the bed and looking in the direction of the balcony in confusion.

Waylon put his phone back into his pocket and walked over to her as if nothing had happened. He tucked her in and said, "Nothing. You take your medicine first."

Ayla's face was still pale, and this made him feel sorry for her. She held his hand and pouted pitifully. "The herbal medicine is too bitter, and even the smell makes me feel uncomfortable."

Waylon raised his eyebrows. "When we were pen pals, you told me you were not afraid of taking herbal medicine, right? Be good. Take your medicine, so you will recover soon."

He just spoke casually, and he did not notice that something was wrong with Ayla.

Soon, she raised her small face and looked at him with clear eyes. "Okay, I'll listen to you."

Since Ayla was in a coma for six years, her body became thin, and her face looked bloodless. But her personality was still childish.

Waylon's heart softened a lot. He said, "I'll ask Tristan to change the herbal medicine into pills."

Ayla smiled sweetly upon hearing this. She held his arm, acting like a spoiled child. "Waylon, you really treat me well."

Waylon then left the room to go downstairs. He saw Zoey preparing a bowl of soup. She asked, "Is Ayla feeling better?"

"She has just taken her medicine. She's talking to her parents on the phone now."

Zoey smiled and said, "Her father is the CEO of Horizon Group, and he agreed to let us take Ayla here. This means that he also agrees to your marriage, so we have to take care of her well."

Seeing that Zoey was considerate to Ayla, Waylon suddenly thought of the time when Stella caught a cold and got sick last year.

At that time, Zoey lost her temper and smashed things on the floor. Then Stella, who was sick, had to go downstairs to cook.

Waylon suddenly felt complicated, but he immediately stopped thinking about it. Stella hit Ayla with her car and took advantage of the opportunity to marry him. Stella had only herself to blame.

Zoey looked around and suddenly said, "Where is Adrian? I haven't seen him the whole day."

As soon as she said this, the door was pushed open and slammed with a bang. Adrian came in furiously.

Zoey immediately put down the bowl and approached him. She held his arm and asked in confusion, "Adrian, what's wrong?"

But Adrian shook off her hands and snapped, "I'm fine!"

Then he looked at Waylon and said hesitantly, "Waylon, I saw Stella in the bar today. She was with a male model. It seems she has a special relationship with him."

Waylon's face darkened. "Male model? Who?"
