Chapter 9 Jenny was Pregnant

He was getting ready and Jenny showed up.

"Do you think we should go??? I was thinking of staying home and chilling together???"

"But we should meet the person. I am sure he is a good man. You told me to socialize."

"What about your wife??? What If she shows up???"

"Shows up??? There??? Come on. We haven't seen her in weeks. After you forced me I filed a complaint too. Police have assured us that they won't be attacking us again. They are keeping us secure. Why are you so worried???"

"You know why ."

He didn't want to start that conversation with her. He didn't know his feelings. Although he was trying to lie to his heart deep down he knew Hazel was changed. She wasn't just mad at him for not finding her or whatever.

He has seen her obsession with him, she could do anything for him but the girl who shit him was a stranger.

"Listen. What Hazel means to me you know that. If I meet her again. I will tell her everything about me and then it would be up to her. I don't think she would hurt me again. "

"What if she forgives you???"

"I don't think she is gonna forgive me easily this time. But don't worry. She won't hurt us again."

"Do you think there's an us???"

"What do you mean??? "

"She is still your wife. Legally."

"And You already knew feelings for her. They aren't naive. If she rejects me and has become the mafia Queen or so The cops said. I am not gonna get back to her. Trust me. But whatsoever. I have to take the divorce first."

"Ok."

"Now come on get ready we are getting late."

They left for the party and the venue was a big mansion. Guards were surrounding the building and he could see snipers. He was getting strange feelings and as he opened the door he heard a gunshot.

Jenny got scared and held him by his arm. There was light coming from the swimming pool side. The maid escorted them there and they were shocked to see the scene.

Hazel was holding a gun and her face was covered with blood. A body was floating above the pool water and the blood from it was turning the water red gradually.

For a moment Xavier couldn't recognize her.

"I think we should leave. We are in the wrong place."

He held Jenny and was turned around. He just didn't want to see Hazel like that. She knew the loving, kind, smiling and innocent girl. He didn't know this cold-blooded murderer.

"Welcome, Dear Husband. "

She said while cleaning her face. He stopped and turned around.

"You called us here???"

"Wrong. I invited you here. Come sit. "

She invited them and they sat on the couch. She was wearing her jacket and for a moment Xavier looked up into her eyes but they were cold.

He couldn't feel the warmth for him. How could she become like this??? He was madly in love with her. He was still looking until she started looking back and he broke eye contact.

"I hope your journey was peaceful."

"Why did you call us here???"

Before he said anything else she placed a gun on Jenny's forehead.

"What is this joke."

"Sshhh... Do you think your shouting would save your girlfriend??? Come on. you know me, hubby. I am a crazy girl."

"What do you want???"

"Oh come on..why are you acting as if you don't know anything about me???"

"What anything??? I had no idea where have you been. "

"You didn't even search for me?"

"Only If I knew you were alive and."

He was about to tell that Jenny took him to this town and didn't let him go anywhere but Jenny held his arm and nodded no.

"And what???"

"I thought you were dead."

He lied because he didn't want Hazel to shoot Jenny.

"Oh really??? John, you were right. He is the mastermind. I thought your girlfriend was the one behind all this but since you have cleared the misunderstanding nothing's gonna happen to her. But you have to tell us everything. How did you do this???"

"Do what???"

"Oh come on. I am talking about your master plan. How did you plan all that??? Who was your gang leader???"

"What are you talking about??? What gang leader??? I don't know anything about that."

"Stop lying. Stop lying to me."

She was hitting his face and he started bleeding. She was beating him brutally.. without his hands, with punches and she pulled him down on the floor.

Jenny was screaming.

"Shut this bitch mouth first. I don't wanna hear her screams. I wanna hear his."

"Stop this. Please. I am telling the truth. Just let me tell you the truth."

"She kicked him in his stomach and held him by his hair.

"Come on. You have 10 seconds. I wanna hear the name, Xavier. It was victor, tony, Tyler??? For whom you were working???"

"I swear I am hearing these names for the first time."

"I told you no more lies."

She started hitting him again until he was lying down unconscious. She was still beating him and was looking so angry. She held him by his neck.

"Why don't you just kill me??? I am not lying."

"Oh no no dear husband. Why so early??? Remember all the promises you made??? Remember how you broke my family into pieces? I am gonna take revenge for each and everything."

"I didn't do anything."

"Oh stop this acting now. Guess what I have gotten all the information and have all the proofs but I wanna hear from you. I wanna listen from you. You bastard, you cheater. You stabbed me in the back. I trusted you.

You were like a Son to my Grandpa. My Dad loved you and trusted you. He gave his life saving yours but you are a pathetic loser. Why did you do it??? Why have you gotten from this???"

She started beating him again and he went unconscious but she wasn't stopping until John stopped her.

"Stop it. If you wanna kill him then just shoot him."

"No, no. He shouldn't die. Take care of him. Throw them back at their house. Let him heal. Don't let him go off from our sight."

She wiped the blood from her hand and looked at Jenny.

"Your boyfriend is a dead man. Your Choice of lovers had always been pathetic."

She went back to her room while the guards dragged Xavier to the car and Jenny was sitting in the backseat. He drove them to her home and left.

She managed to take him in after cleaning the blood and applying bandages. She was crying. She never imagined such a horrible outcome.

Xavier got up the next day and was hardly able to open his eyes. Jenny told him that two of Hazel's guards were standing outside the house and she had instructed him to provide them with food and everything.

"How could she believe such crap??? Did you hear that Jenny??? She was blaming me for everything??? How could she???"

He wasn't able to believe anything. It was all shocking for him. And the way she was beating him last night was not what he expected. The Hazel he Loved could never hit him like that.

He decided to talk to her one last time and explain everything. But this time he would start hating his wife he had no idea.
