Chapter 10 My Dad's Killer

She was roaming around in her room. Trying to control her emotions. She should be feeling better beating him but she wasn't satisfied. She might be getting peace after killing him.

But she wanted to tease him. She wanted to show them what they did to her. That she is not weak anymore.

She called John.

"Have they Signe the Contract??? Didn't they ask any questions about them???"

"No, not at all. Police and the Chairman helped the by trusting them. They are legally bound with us now. You can do whatever you want to do with them."

"Yeah, that's good news. Did you find anything??? With whom he is linking???"

"Still nothing."

"That's impossible. He can't just change the city and move this far away on his own. If the story he told me was true he must have gone back to his country and started his previous job but instead he chose to hide. He knew I survived and might strike back."

"Yeah, I think that too. Don't worry we will find something soon. What about now??? He is healed. My men have just informed me. You want them to get him here???"

"No, Let us give him a surprise this time."

They smiled devilishly.

Xavier had just gotten better and Although Jenny was forcing him to leave the town he wanted to talk to Hazel one last time.

"But why are so curious??? Do you think she wanted to talk to you? Have you forgotten the last time she met you???"

"She had a big misunderstanding Jenny. I have to clear that out. I can't let her go down that path. His family has been murdered brutally because of this Mafia and now she is getting herself into it. I don't want her to get into any trouble. "

"You think she would listen to you??? She has gone mad. For god sake Why can't you see that???"

"Don't worry. I didn't know anything last time. This time I know what to tell. Don't worry I will deal with her. "

"She is not your baby doll Hazel anymore. She is a bloody mafia Queen now. Didn't you see how she shot that man in a snap??? I don't think she is gonna get soft on us. We are trapped here."

"Listen, don't panic. If she didn't believe me and still tries to harm me we will leave. I promise. I will go with you wherever you want. "

"Okay. I am gonna make the dinner for you."

She went down while he got sometimes to think. He hoped that the misunderstanding would be cleared and she would listen to him. Everything would get better and he would convince her to leave everything and they would go away from this crap town.

He wanted to start a life with her. He loves her more than she knows. He had been through terrible days after hearing about her demise. But she was back with his hope of living. After many days he smiled with his heart.

He was still trying to believe that everything was good between them. Jenny would understand him. She knew his feelings for Hazel.

But he was worried that Hazel didn't listen to him. If she still wanted revenge for the crime he didn't commit.

He got up took the shower and after he got out he was looking for something in the draw when he came across a file.

He took that out and he was shocked. They were pregnancy reports of Jenny and they were positive.

The test was held on the day he met Hazel for the first time. Now he started recalling. Why was she talking about kids and family?

He sat there holding the file. What has he done???

How could he be so selfish and blind???

He placed the file aside and after giving it a thought he went down. She was busy cutting he got near her.

"It's getting ready. Wait for some time."

"Why didn't you tell me ???"

"Tell you what???"

"About your pregnancy???"

She stopped and turned around.

"I...how did you... Did you see the report???"

"Why didn't you tell me, Jenny???"

"I thought."

"You thought what???"

"I wanted to tell you but after Hazel showed up You were just talking about her. I knew I could never replace her and now she was back I knew I would never get a place in your life."

"Are you mad??? You thought all that by yourself??? You didn't even think that I have the right to know that I am gonna be Dad???"

"I am sorry. I thought It was of no use. I didn't want to make your life complicated."

"Shut up Silly. Come here."

He hugged her and kissed her forehead.

"I am sorry for making you feel like that but you are my best friend. I am not that kind of man. How did you even think that I would leave you in such a situation???"

"Hazel.."

"She was my wife and We had a relationship. But Whatever was between us it wasn't just casual. I wanted to get married too. I wish you had told me this news earlier. I wouldn't have shown cold shoulders to you. You need my care and attention and I was not even looking at you. I am sorry for acting so dumb, and selfish."

"It's okay but there's no pressure from my side. If things get better between you two. I will go away trust me."

"No, That's not gonna happen. You had been with me all this time like a rock. I am not gonna leave you in such a situation alone. I want to talk to Hazel. But I just want to clear everything out.

I don't want her to haunt us and trouble you, especially now."

"Promise me that you are not gonna tell anything about this. She had lost her baby. I don't want her to take revenge on mine."

"Hey hey. Nothing going to happen. I am here trust me."

He pulled her closer and started kissing her. They were in that intimate moment when someone opened their door suddenly. They stopped and turned towards there. It was none other than the Queen.

"Wao what a heartwarming moment. I am sorry. I hope we are not disturbing you."

She entered and was looking around the house. Jenny was getting scared and she held his arm.

"Calm down. I am with you."

Hazel took out the gun and placed it on the dinner table.

"The smell is great. I got here on perfect time."
