Chapter 4 The game started.

Just like the detective said, the rest of the gang would be arriving the next day and they all awaited for their arrival. The squelching of the vehicles outside the house woke Lorenzo up. He room was next to Alicia and because of that, he got her alerted as well. They came out to see what was going on by themselves and they also avoided noise because they didn't know if they were already set up. But as they saw the detective with them outside, they knew that very moment that those were the rest of the gang.

They were unloading few things they came with direct to the underground building, stuffs that weren't their own personal property. As they were peeping through the window space, Miguel joined them from the back.

" What are you guys looking at?" he questioned from behind even without making his presence known.

They weren't expecting him and so, they fidgeted the very moment his voice came from behind. They gave him that look that needed no explanation, he came closer and joined to see what they were looking at. So from there, the three of them walked down outside to where others were and tried to help out a few ways they dimmed fit.

When the fleet of cars that brought them left, it became certain the number of new robbers that joined. They were five of them that arrived, three men and two ladies. None of them was smiling and that have them a very serious face. The detective didn't even introduce any of them, maybe he thought it wasn't necessary for the robbers to be closely attached to each other or know details about themselves just for safety reasons. He always had a thousand and one reasons why he did things and for sure sake, he doesn't make mistakes. He allowed everyone to take their respective rest for the day and check around the whole environment before they could definitely get to the main reason why they were there. Since each of their rooms had the occupants name boldly written on the door, it was much easier for them to locate their respective rooms with involving the attention or help of another. The first three were already getting alone with each other, as the rest went to their respective rooms, they gathered at one spot outside the house with few drinks on the little table they placed in the center.

They were from the same country and maybe, they would have a lot to share among themselves. The little round table discussion was set and chatters of laughter were mildly hear but wasn't disturbing. They were taking turns to ask themselves questions that weren't necessary for the heist but rather, for their personal knowledge of each other. The table had a sweetened fruit wine with three filled glass cups and an empty one. The filled ones were probably for the three of them whereas the empty was just there for no particular purpose. It was time for them to become more personal with their questioning and Alicia with her soft sip, threw questions to the table.

" So, what if we get caught during the robbery or someone dies?" Alicia brought the topic to the table.

" Don't be thinking like that, no one would die and beside, I trust the detective, I guess he must have had his plans all set out waiting for proper execution", Lorenzo chipped in.

" I guess you are right, for once I'm beginning to trust him. Besides, we don't have anything to lose, he's just trying to help us get back what we wanted", Miguel added a back up.

" Well, my job made it so hard for me to trust someone, I always worked alone. Maybe I just have to make up my mind so quick", Alicia explained.

" After that idea of distracting the police and jumping inside the sea even when a lot of police vehicles were waiting for me at the two ends, pointing several guns at me but still, I believe and just followed the plan the exact way he instructed. I guess that's what we should be after....to follow the plan the way it is" Lorenzo shared his own experience.

All of them knew that it wasn't easy to get away with such a robbery but the way he planned it, getting away became very easy for them and there was no traces at all. That heist gave itself an edge above the other heist they had executed both individually or as partners. And that was made possible because of the person that planned the whole robbery game. Being a cyber intelligence, Alicia can easily hack whatever she wanted to but because she still didn't have the motivation or will to hack the extraordinary big innovations or establishments, she only resorted to the ones she could be able to do away with.

" So tell us, how did your ordeal will the detective started?" she asked again.

That would definitely take him back to start explaining his entire being as a living person. He started by letting them know his motive for being a tight and brilliant runaway driver, the issue of her sister and her family misfortune. On a correct and current basics, Lorenzo had no valid passport or international passport, he just kept hiding from one location to the other just to make sure the level of his game didn't screw up. He chronologically arranged the number of successful robbery he was involved in and the share of money he ended up getting after the percentage had been distributed. Remembering vividly, the highest cash he had gotten was fifty thousand dollars and since then, he was still making efforts to get better game ahead until the detective showed up.

" The case that made me believe was the part I was asked to distract the police even knowing their guns would be pointing at me, still it was the faith that saved me because assuming I didn't trust him, I would have been in the hands of the police or in jail because I'm a wanted person in Madrid and I was very uncomfortable with such a life".

Time fast forwarded to evening and drove the day into night. They all met themselves gathered at the dinning table, it wasn't time for lectures, it was time for dinner and meanwhile, the place of lectures was different from the place of leisure and dinner. The detective had the meal prepared with the help of Alicia and Lorenzo since the both were already getting along and were close to the detective. They were the ones concluding that they were his favorite but for him, there was nothing like that, he placed all the robbers on equal level. The dinning table had several meals on it but with easy identification, there was noodles with chopsticks, shrimps which seemed to be fried, a bowl of boiled crabs and lots of unidentified containers, some which seemed to have vegetables inside and lots more. The detective had a wonderful smile, half of his upper set of teeth and half of the lower set would showcase whenever he smiled and that gave him the advantage of being likeable and easily accessible. Just as the whole gang were stepping towards the dinning table and taking their seats one after the other, he beamed his face with a priceless smile just to welcome them even without saying words to them.

" Hope you guys are enjoying the meal? Taste the crabs, I made them myself", the detective opened the ground for easy discussion.

Seemed no one wanted to talk at that moment and the reason why the detective asked them to taste the crabs was because he noticed that no one had touched it apart from himself. After he advertised the crabs, few others decided to try them out as they dished some into their plate. Just like it was mentioned earlier, extra give persons joined the team and that would warrant the detective to introduce each and everyone of them again. He started by introducing the first set whom were Miguel, Alicia and Lorenzo, he introduced them to the later persons and in turn, introduced the new comers. In as much as he never supported disclosure of personal information, he dimmed it fit to at least allow them know themselves a bit since they were to work together as a team.

Since they were eating and chatting at the same time, the time for the dinner lasted for close to an hour which drew them behind the clock. The detective, Mr Wang wanted to make sure that they had enough time after the meal to at least get themselves together before the introductory classes that was scheduled to take place that night in the underground building. They were done eating and were set to disperse to their different direction before a new order came upon them.

" The class will commence in thirty minutes time, in the underground room and do not be looked for. This will be out introductory class to the main thing we are about to do, from the next day, the main classes will start", the detective announced to them all.

Everyone of them had to hasten up with whatever activity they might have and headed towards the place for the lectures. No one would love to be left out, in that kind of situation, everybody has to be there, they wanted to know the reason for what they were do and the actual thing they were about to do. The detective didn't even give them hint in how to go about the robbery, for the privileged ones, they were able to know before others that they were going to rob the Bank of China but not actually when and how.

The underground room was well equipped will necessary classroom materials they might be needing for the conveyance of information. Their sets and tables were well arranged with the white board directly in front of them and another big table behind the seats. Since they were going in for the biggest robbery in history, they just needed to get themselves well prepared to avoid being caught in the middle of somewhere. When they stepped in, he was already standing in front of the class patiently waiting for them to arrive. One of the great marks of being a good and successful leader was to learn the virtue of being patient enough and to tolerate certain things. There weren't any specific seat meant for any of them, but the number of seats were already the same with the number of robbers available. So they were meant to sit any place they wanted inside the classroom. When they had all assembled in the room, the detective didn't waste extra time because he had done the necessary introduction at the dinning, he just went on with the lectures.

He started by asking them if they knew what they were in for, the answer was still unstable because a none of them knew what they were actually in for except the fact that they were going to rob bank of China. Just like he normally did, even when he contracted them all, he usually give them something that would entice them, something that would actually make them very excited and would want to hear more. He told them that they were going into the bank of China to rob ¥300billion. At the mention of that amount, they were all marvel but yet, still had severe doubts in them. From the looks on their faces, it would be certain to conclude that they all didn't believe what he said because it was almost impossible to do that and no one has ever done that in the history of Chinese robbery. Just in the midst of their doubt and bewilderment, the detective had the best ground to chip his plans into their reasoning. Then, the main question was how do they get in? That was the question asked by one of the new robbers that arrived, her name was Li Xin Yan. That was when the detective unwrapped the white board since it was covered and on it was the first plan.
