Chapter 4: Instinct

Half an hour after William leaved I decided to go down to my apartment, I need to sleep the thoughts and questions that confuse my head. I guess, there's too much confusion and I need to take a rest.

I was about to take the last step to the stairs when I feel something strange, my heart skipped a bit and my gut feels telling me not to go. Being a thief for a long time. I used to have this instinct that I can feel bad thing's before it happens.

My instincts never failed so when I feel something there must be trouble, but then I'm worried about Lemie and the other kids, so I take a step heading to my apartment door.

Just when I'm about to touch the door knob, I heard a footstep from inside that make me certain that there really is a trouble. I'm hundred percent sure that it wasn't a footstep from the kids cause the footstep sounds like it came from someone who has a big-built body man.

There are people inside my apartment other than the kids. I'm just hoping that don't harm any of the five kids. Whoever is inside my apartment right now, made a wrong decision by trespassing my place.

The footstep becomes louder and it seems like someone is heading to open the door of my apartment.

That's when the door is about to open, I kicked it and that makes everyone inside the apartment jump in surprise.

I move as fast as I can and grab an arm that holding a gun of the nearest guy, the man didn't able to dodged my attack because of surprise and I manage to take down that guy on the floor.

I grab the gun and point it toward the other persons inside my apartment. There were ten of them including the man I takedown.

All of them is wearing a mask that covers their whole face except a guy who had a super annoying smirk on his face, and they didn't look like a warrior came from the palace, they look like a type of rebellious people and rogue barbarian.

I don't remember that I have arrears with anyone especially with this kind of person. It's my first time meeting them but seems like it was my last time seeing them.

I'm the thief, not a killer but who knows after this night I might become a murderer. If ever something bad happens with the kids being dead right now is the only thing they destine for,

"Who are you, "I firmly ask, demanding them to tell me who the hell they are to trespass in my apartment.

The gun remains pointed towards them and like me, they also point a gun toward me. Ten guys against me huh?

"I have the same question miss, Who are you? "the smirking guy ask and form a sign on his hand to make his colleagues lower their guns that is pointing right at me, That smirking guy must be their leader and hey! I was the one asking who are they!

I raised my left eyebrow, "I was the first one asking who are you?" I demanded for them to answer, Now I'm starting to get annoyed by this smirking guy face it's so damn annoying!

He shook his head two times while the annoying smile on his face is still immovable. "How about telling who are you and then I'm going to tell you who I am," The smirking guy said confidently.

He has the guts while his henchmen with him entered my place like some kind of idiots,

I just stand still and didn't respond to him, For a minute the room filled with silence while the tension between me and this group of men is quickly formed.

I don't have an idea what kind of shitty things is this but I want to kill all of these ugly goons, my apartment is quiet for a minute but not until the smirking guy say something,

"You need to come with us Princess," the guy said emphasizing the word 'princess'

My eyes widened in surprise as I hear the smirking guy called me princess.

How come they know that I am a princess? Only me and William is supposed to know the secret that I am still Alive and a princess of Yuson Family is still here, but then that secret needs to remain secret, especially now that I already decided to just hide and protect the kids.

"How do you know that I'm~, "I said in surprise but I stop when I realized.

Oh! crap, Did I just confirm that I am the princess?

Ugh, Stupid! Stupid!

The smirk on the guy's face becomes wider and makes me more annoyed.

"I-I mean why should I come with you!" I said changing what I said earlier but then who was I've kidding? There's no point I've already confirmed that I am the princess.

But the question is who really is this man together with his henchmen? Why the hell they know that I am the princess?

I heard the smirking guy sign then he grabs the nearest chair to him. The chair makes a sound after the guy sat on the chair.

"It's been almost six years but still you don't do anything to fight the government. Don't you? "He asks disappointedly while wandering his sights all over to my apartment.

Why the hell he cared about it? I'm the only one to decide about that. He's not the princess anyway.

"You exchange the life of being a princess for this?" The smirking guy exclaimed in disbelief and stand from where his seating.

"For being a thief and stealing something that wasn't yours huh?" He continued; of course, would he call it stealing if I get something that is mine?

So, they know that I am a thief right now? But how?

Ugh! This smirking guy is a king of guys that saying too much. Why the hell they care about my choice!

Let's just get to the point! Who are they and why the hell they want me to come with them?

"You're saying too much but still you haven't answered my question, Who are you? "I said boringly and bring down the gun that I was pointing toward them lately.

There's no point denying I'm the princess It seems like they already known it and they just need for me to confirm that I am the princess.

Maybe they been following me for a day so they get to know that I am a thief, lately I have a feeling that someone is following me. I should have been more careful,

"Well, you have to come with us so that you will know who I am, "The smirking guy said confidently.

As if I'm going to come with the stranger-like them, they know me but I don't know who they are.

"Why would I come with you, "I ask left eyebrow creased?

"To save Lahanan City from distraction, "The guy said and shook his shoulders,

Tsk... why would I believe him I'm not a fool!

"And if I said I don't want to come with a stranger like you, "I said hinting that I'm not going to come with them,

"We're not going to give you a choice, You need to come with us either you like it or not, "said the smirking guy and form a sign on his hand that telling his henchmen to point their gun toward me.

Since they enter my place, they really had that overflowing confidence huh?

"Okay "I respond calmly and lower the gun that I was holding,

They began to calm and think for a minute that makes the tension that quickly form a minute ago is slowly disappearing and the guy that pointing a gun toward me is now bringing their gun down.

But I won't make it easy for them, that's when they bring their guard down, I move fast and succeed to take down the guy that is close to me and the other three guys in an instant.

Because of my sudden move, I manage to take down the four guys and they didn't have a chance to dodged my attack. But the remaining become more alert.

"I change my mind I won't make it easy for you, "I said smirking

"tsk... stubborn, "the smirking guy mumbled.

"look we don't want to hurt you 'princess' you just need to come with us calmly with no harm," the smirking guy said with a serious look on his face and gone was he's annoying smirk.

Why do its sound like his ordering me around?

" I don't like when someone is bossing me around, "I said dangerously while giving the smirking guy a death glare.

The tension that was slowly decreasing lately become more suffocating but I manage to stand still and didn't let my guard down.

"I'm not bossing you around I'm just telling that you need to come with us!" he said raising his voice out of frustration.

"Is not that easy~, "I stop half way saying it when I heard Arnie shout

"let go of me you ugly monster! "Arnie shouted while the man holding her left hand,

When I heard Arnie's voice my head automatically tilt and see the remaining henchman forcing the kid's that sleeping a while ago to come out from the room.

"What's happening? Hey careful it hurt!" ask by Lemie full of worry on her face while Calix and Anya is crying. Daren is trying to fight a guy that forcing him to came out.

No! not them! Not the kids
