Chapter 9 -9

Harry pulled over in front an exquisite restaurant. It was the Chelsea restaurant, the best in the city, - and yeah right the meeting with the Hutton was supposed to hold here. The moment Elliot and Alexia alighted from the car, the manager of the place immediately came to welcome them, he had been waiting for their arrival

"Mr Cobb, Miss." He greeted. Mr Hutton is waiting for you at the VIP crib, this way please" he said leading the way to the top floor

The manager stopped in front of what looked like a private room and opened the door ushering them in "Mr Cobb" he said

In the room, was a young man, Rick Hutton. This young man appears very tall about 1.2 meter tall having a handsome facial features he looked dashing and unlike the stone cold Mr Cobb, he looked approachable yet distant more like Jackson in - runaway series

This young man had a strangely unique taste he was wearing a bright pink suit which surprisingly looks good on him having a shinny ear stud on one ear he was more like a play boy than a business man, he was sited on one of the chairs operating his phone uninterestedly.

As soon as the man saw the door opened he stood up and greeted respectively "Mr Cobb"

"Mr Hutton" Elliot responded

"Mr Hutton" Alexia spoke also with Rick nodding and smiling towards her.

They all sat down with Alexia sitting side by side with Elliot and they both sat opposite to Rick.

Right after they sat down Rick's gaze kept lingering on Alexia, she was so beautiful and for a player like him, he couldn't hide the desire and lust radiating from his eyes but for some reasons he found her oddly familiar -but now's not the time to dwell on familiarity he thought

Elliot didn't fail to notice his ogling gaze on Alexia but pretending like it didn't bother him

Alexia was wearing a knee length tight fitted dress which has a cut in front of it running upwards to her thigh exposing her well defined long legs and part of her thigh and now that's she's sitting her thighs are becoming more visible

'fuck - Anthony could not help but curse silently when he saw Rick's eyes trailing on her thigh, if looks could make one naked he was sure Alexia would be sited naked right now he so wanted to brew a hole in that eyes of his

Why would she wear such kind of dress in the first place - he thought throwing a glance at Alexia while she was speaking, his anger was further intensified when he noticed how nonchalant and frankly-calm she was, he could swear he saw her grinning

whatt! don't tell me she's enjoying his ambiguous stare Elliot subconscious scream. Just then he realized he has lost focus and wasn't listening no more to whatever Alexia was saying but as much as he tries to regain focus, his mind still drifted especially to the part where she was grinning.

" Mr Cobb, what a beautiful smart young lady you got here. I do not think you'll be needing to show up for our next meeting, as I believe she'll be able to handle it properly" Rick said talking to Elliot but staring at Alexia

Everyone could hear the hidden meaning behind his words especially the last three words -oh crap! Elliot's anger has risen to the peak

What the hell do you mean by handle properly you monkey - Elliot's subconscious was already going insane screaming out loudly, however no matter how angered he is right now he has to be calm and composed

"Thank you Mr Hutton, you should already know that I always work with the best what's more, I don't there would be any more meetings after this

Rick could feel the intense hostility coming from Elliot even though he was smiling. He actually took cognizance of the way Elliot reacted to him staring at Alexia he could tell that he wasn't the only one interested, even though he may not be so smart he's a guy after all and he could see the intense jealousy and anger in Elliot's eyes even though he was sited so composed, his comment just now was to test his hunch and yeah! he was right

"Seems like not only one child likes the toy" Rick said smiling back sipping his wine casually

"No I think the child is not interested in the toy and doesn't care if anyone else is" Elliot responded too nonchalantly

"Oh" Rick said an instant spark lighted in his eyes and he said inwardly 'so it turns out the almighty CEO of Cobb's company doesn't even know he's in love'

'What in biniki's bottom are this men saying' Alexia thought. How did we go from talking business to talking about children and toys. Even though they were both smiling and talking casually Alexia knew they were not playing around it was more like they were having a stand-off of some sort.

"We'll get back to you later Mr Hutton Good day" Elliot stood up and said

"Adios" Rick replied
