Chapter 5 Oliver

"Attention please!", the principal tapped the microphone. "The school union of Heiss have decided to change the school class ranking system. Instead of the senior secondary or junior secondary or elementary,we decided to rank them completely by grade. From elementary one we start ranking as grade one and then we continue upwards, I hope you guys could adapt to the new grading system, and also I want to introduce a new student to you guys whose name is Oliver..", he turned towards the back.

"Oliver please come forward let the students see you". An average fair skinned boy walked out from behind the principal. "What do we say to him?",the principal shouted enthusiastically it was followed by an ovation and "you are welcome" filled the air.

Robert walked into his class and to his surprise, he saw Jackson and his group surrounding Oliver. They looked like they were threatening him as the boys were all frowning. Robert walked over and was startled by what he heard.

"I'm sure you came to this boarding school with some cash, give us some and we'll let you go!" Henry threatened. Jackson looked indifferently as his boys did the extortion. The other students in the class didn't seem to care, they were just carrying out their business or reading their books some were even making noise.

When Jackson saw Robert coming over with a frown he cursed at him in his mind, "Damned fool you dumped me in the lab yesterday and you still have the courage to face me" .

"Hey,let go of the new kid!", Robert pushed Henry away.

"And what are you gonna do?" Frank asked.

" I'll make you feel the true meaning of PAIN", Robert looked intimidating. Frank threw his hands wildly towards Robert but before he could land a blow he only remembered flying in the air and falling to the ground. He looked at Robert in horror and ran out of the class.

"That f*cking coward",Jackson cursed and faced Robert. He knew he was clearly stronger than Robert and so he had no problem.

"Last time you sneak attacked me, but I won't give you a chance to do so again", he landed a blow on Robert's cheeks and retreated but to his surprise, Robert didn't wince and his cheeks still looked as delicate as ever and he didn't seem to have suffered any injury.

"Pathetic",Robert chuckled and walked towards Jackson.

"Get that monster away from me", Jackson turned to run but students had already surrounded him and some of them pushed him towards Robert calling him a coward.

Robert edged closer and closer but fortunately for Jackson, Dora stepped out of the small group of students and petitioned Robert to calm down. He looked at her and smiled. Dora was not just his girlfriend, she was his soft spot and weakness one could even say that she was his life.

"Hurry up and show that brat the consequences of angering an ancestor soul", Poison cried in his head.

But Robert only released a light chuckle and turned towards Oliver, "are you okay?", he asked, Oliver looked at him and his pulpils twinkled with a golden light.

Robert looked puzzled but Oliver surprisingly replied, "At last", he then stood up and left.

Robert looked at the door and saw the hostel master for grade 12 as it is now called.

"Everyone to your seats, Robert, meet me in my office,now", The students scrambled to their seats. Robert left the class for Mr William's office.

"That guy",Poison said as Robert entered the office, "I'll see what I can do about him".

Robert stood before him.

"Have a seat", he sat down facing Mr Williams. "Robert why did you beat Frank up?", Mr Williams gave him the looks.

"He was the first to attack me,sir"

"Hmm, go get me a red pen from miss Green, leave your belt here so that I'll make sure you do not run away" Robert reluctantly dropped his belt. "Now go".

As Robert left, Mr Williams took the belt and placed a tiny device in an inconspicuous part of the belt and returned it to it's original position.

"Now I'll get to hear him talk with the ancestors soul then I'll move over to phase two,extraction". He held out a fist sized glowing green ball.

"Well, let's confirm if he really has an ancestor soul", he placed the ball in his drawer and left it open.

Meanwhile Robert got the pen from miss Green and was returning to the office...

"Poison did you see that guy's eyes it glowed with a golden radiance when I asked if he's ok, he even said 'at last' as a reply and left without thanking me!".

"Robert you have to be wary of dangers, my father had a servant that also caught the curse and his aim was to go around causing troubles for I and my brother, we hated him alot and he might have turned into an ancestors soul when he died..." He was interrupted by a groan.

"Aaarrgh!", Robert groaned as he entered the office, he held his head and fell on the floor. Mr Williams quickly put away the green ball in a hole under his chair and pretended to be concerned,"Robert , is anything wrong?", Robert immediately felt better when the ball was put away.

"Yes, sir I just felt dizzy, here's your pen". Robert handed over the pen.

"Thanks, you can have your belt and leave", Mr Williams chuckled, "Haha, that boy has an ancestor soul he must be the descendant of Gabor, the second son of Hanshi, I need that ancestor soul as early as possible and find the seal to get the boundless powers, hahaha."

"Poison why did I feel dizzy, what did you do?", Robert asked annoyed.

"The only thing that can make you dizzy with me in you is the ball on top of my father's walking staff. Those type of staffs were called Soul sceptres and they were very rare. He uses it as a protection against dark magic like shadow magic, blood magic, poison magic and many more but I later found out that it could extract souls and during soul extraction the body becomes extremely dizzy because of the lack of connection to one's life line which leads to death. If used on you, well, you won't die but I'll be extracted from you. Damn that thing still exists and that man weilds it, boy you have to be careful of that man but for now we'll treat Oliver's case", Robert saw Dora walking over and smiled, she still had her alluring smile and charming scent.

"You know we're not allowed to use strong perfumes in school", he smiled as he perceived the sweet scent.

"Urgh, who cares,let's go to the canteen, it's break time", they chatted casually as they walked towards the canteen.
