Chapter 10 No other choice

Vanessa stood before Dora's corner and leaned on her bunk. Dora looked at her with a what-the-fu*k-are-you-doing-here expression and stared at the panting girl. It was obvious that she ran from quite a distance.

"What'cha doing here?". Dora asked feeling anger welling up inside her. After all she was the one who wanted to take Robert away from me so why the hell should I be polite, she thought to herself.

"It concerns Robert;" Vanessa replied in between breaths. Dora looked at her and frowned. Vanessa really looked worried. Dora stood up and anxiety instantly appeared on that soft smooth beautiful face of hers. Vanessa was at least happy that Dora wasn't stubborn this time. She clearly saw Robert being taken away in the school bus and she thought that only Dora would have an explanation for it. At least she hoped.

" What happened?" Dora asked, trying hard to surpress the bad feeling she had.

"It's just that Robert was taken away by Miss green through the school bus. I also saw Mr Williams, Mr Bous, and the principal there too and I'm worried that they might have expelled him for his hallucination". Immediately the last sentence ended only three words could escape Dora's mouth.

"What the fu*k"

Meanwhile, Robert was looking confused as the bus was sped past a tea shop.

"So you mean that if he uses the x-ray on me then both of our memories would intertwine and we both may loose our memories in the process...?,Oh geez, what do I do?" He asked looking around the bus.

"I have an idea, why don't you use my powers ... Sorry I mean your powers to wreck this bus, that way you would not be able to go to the hospital again!" Poison suggested loudly and excitedly in his head.

" I don't really have to do that, come to think of it, if the bus that have never broken down before breaks down when it was transporting me to the hospital don't you think that miss green would suspect me?". Robert said with a tone of resignation and slumped on the seat." I just have to let fate do it's job" . He concluded and closed his eyes to sleep due to the journey was long and tiring.

Just as he was about to sleep he felt the bus come to a halt and Miss Green walked to the back of the bus and tapped him." Robert,dear, we're here". He opened his eyes and looked at miss Green."Okay", she helped him out of the bus.

Meanwhile, at Mr Williams house, he was smiling and drinking red wine from a glass cup. Occasionally,he would laught to himself while he thought; that damned Robert made a mistake by angering me,now I'll make him suffer, even though he doesn't die, he'll be screwed forever if he's to loose his memory, all thanks to that kid Oliver who told me to make the principal send Robert to the hospital,and I also instructed the doctor to make sure that Robert underwent the x-ray. Hahahah, I'm a genius, but wait, how did that Oliver kid know that the x-ray would be harmful to him. It could not be a coincidence for that kid to suggest an x-ray out of the blue. Hmmm. Maybe he knows something about ancestor souls. Seems like I have to keep an eye on that kid too.

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Robert was staring at the doctor angrily when the doctor was writing some stuffs on a paper for as long as 5 minutes.

"What did you say was his problem again?" The doctor asked miss green. And miss green told him that it was hallucination. "Seems like this is the kid that Williams told me to use the x-ray on no matter what". The doctor thought to himself.

"Ok, I'll have to run an x-ray test on him to check if there's a problem with his brain". The doctor looked at Robert.

"It's your generation's brain that has a problem, idiot". Poison cursed from inside. "It's obvious that someone paid him to use the x-ray on you". Poison said, worry visible in his voice.

"Don't worry dude, I'll know what to do!", Robert replied telepathically.

"Ok shall we leave for the x-ray room?", the doctor asked not waiting for a reply. Robert turned to miss green for help and pretended to be afraid as he said to her, "Teacher,I'm afraid", he said softly. "Really?", Poison asked, "was this your plan?".

"Shut up I'm in the middle of something here", he replied again telepathically. Miss green stroked his cheeks and sighed. "Don't worry dear, you'll be fine, x-ray ain't painful" she looked at him tenderly.

"If you say so", he turned and followed the doctor. "Robert, what do we do now?", Poison asked solemnly.

"I guess I have no choice but to be x-rayed".
