Chapter 4 Revelation

The starry sky glittered as the students went to their class for the night prep. Previously Vanessa invited Robert to study in the laboratory with her which he accepted. She strode to the lab imagining the kind of good time she would have with him as they studied. Since the physics teacher handed over the control of the lab to her she had unlimitedly access to it. She entered the lab and sat down waiting.

Meanwhile,Robert secretly walked to the back of the laboratory. Making sure that he wasn't watched he went deeper into the bush behind the lab.

"Ok voice I'm here", he whispered and waited for a reply.

"Very well,you indeed are a brave boy. Now let's get this started shall we..?". Immediately Robert felt extreme weakness. His legs couldn't support his body thus, he sat on the floor. He felt a very piercing pain on his chest as as an immaterial phantom being like spirit rushed out of his chest and stood before him.

"What the heck are you?", Robert looked extremely frightened.

"Me?", The phantom asked."oh you can call me Poison".

Vanessa flipped a page of her note book and looked towards the door. Her face had a worried expression and ofcourse she was clearly worried.

"Where could he be?, I've waited like ten minutes..", the door opened and she let out a smile which immediately turned into as frown as Jackson unexpectedly entered. He stopped in his tracks as he glared at her. "Well, well, well. My hypothesis was confirmed, you are really meeting your lover boy here tonight". He let out a short cackle.

"Jackson,get out of here before I report you to the science master", she threatened while pointing a finger at the door.

He walked closer and gently took the soft and delicate finger down. He touched her cheeks tenderly and brought his face close to hers but as he was about to kiss her a resounding hot slap slammed down on his ear. He placed his palm on the ear and withdrew.

"Damned duckling,you dared!", he rushed towards her, held her two hands and pinned her to the wall. She looked at him with killing intent as she barked and struggled.

" let me go!".

"I would but first I'll have to make you pay". He smiled angrily.

"Yeah at least that was my nick name back then", Poison chuckled again.

"So you're telling me that you are an ancestors soul that have lived for countless centuries waiting for me?",Robert asked confused.

"Yes, I am ".

"Then why were you waiting for me?".

"Well during those times I had the worst brother ever, he hated me and I reciprocated the hatred, our dad always advised us to live in peace but we refused one day, we had an argument and we destroy the house while fighting, unknown to us our father was inside the house sleeping and the house crashed on him and he got a terrifying injury. He cursed us saying that our fight would continue even after death. He said that our souls would roam around the earth unless one of us finds his most precious belonging, which was his ancestor's seal which would not only break the curse but would give the bearer boundless powers that would enable the bearer to forcibly seal his soul into the unconscious zone and enable the bearer to rest in perfect peace. But we needed to merge with the body of one of our generation who had a good potential to find the seal. But before we died 65 years after, my brother told me that when he gets the seal, he would use his powers and enslave everything and rule over all and sundry, from the mountains to the rivers,from the cities to the countryside, he would take over all, but thankfully I found you and you must cooperate with me and save your...whatever you call the people of this era and help me fight my brother and find the seal before him, I believe that one of his generations is in this school and I'm also sure that he discovered my presence here so I think, he would find one of his gene bearer and try to kill me.. I mean you so we must fight", Poison said looking serious for the first time since he appeared.

"Wait,wait hold on,how could your father give you the name poison?", Robert asked also looking more or less happy. "That's what my brother calls me but I also gave him a name, Doom".

"Whoa that sounds pretty scary".

"Yeah, that's right".

"Ok ok so how would I find the seal I mean I would need some good abilities to fight the Doom dude", Robert threw an inquisitive look at him.

"Oh I almost forgot, I gave you the ability of super speed , abnormal healing, super strength, invisibility,and also turning to an elemental".

"Wait, hold on. that explains the events that happened In the field, i was able to..."

"Yeah yeah, I gave you the powers now let's go up the building I feel like something is going on up there". Poison turned into a ball of light and disappeared into him .

"How do I get to the lab, the front door is locked",Robert asked pussled.

"SCALE THE WALL"

"Now what can you do?" Jackson stared at her in the eyes ,"now I'm gonna kiss you, and you won't be able to do a thing".

He drew his lips closer to hers ,Vanessa closed her eyes and shut her mouth tight.

"BANG!!', Jackson was sent flying to the end of the lab. He looked up and saw Robert standing before him. He stood up and was about to land a blow on Robert's face when suddenly everything turned black and he felt a sharp pain at the back of his head as he fell down.

Robert walked towards Vanessa and released a warm smile.

"Well that head was pretty hard", he massaged his hand.

Vanessa rushed and hugged him. He felt her chest pressing hard on his and he enjoyed the feeling while it lasted.

"She's beautiful", Poison said.

" I know", he replied.

"Were you talking to me?", Vanessa looked stupefied as they disengaged.

"No, no not you, um we should be going now I think they've rang the bell for prep over".

They dragged Jackson's unconcious body out of the lab and locked it leaving Jackson on the corridor.

By 1o'clock am Jackson woke up and realised where he was. "Damned fool, he actually left me here, I'll make him pay!" He said and staggered to the hostel.
