Chapter 9 9

I went to join Keith at the office but he was placed on office arrest, no one was authorized to see him, including myself.

I swiveled over and walked to the only place I knew could give me a slit glance at him

I went to the back of the office and glanced through the window.

He was found trying to pick the lock with his werewolf fingers.

Like hasn't he learned his lesson, ever since his twin died, Keith has been a mess and I don't know what to do to help.

Unfortunately, the student body president walks in and saw what he was striving to do.

He tugged Keith with a finger and he lurched cleaning off the tint from his shirt.

"Please seat,".

He says and takes his.

Keith sat opposite him and sees me peeking through the window, he shivered and it gave the student body president a hint that someone was behind, he looked back but I was fast enough to hide from getting caught.

"Is anyone there?" He asked.

Keith groaned and looked away.

I got back up after some time and met them talking, I couldn't quite hear but following their lips chatting, I think Keith was being asked about Kailey.

And that question is something non of the family members would love to speak about.

I had thought he was going to go all crazy, however, he composed himself and spoke with so much calmness.

A few minutes later, he gets up and leaves the office.

I ran out immediately to meet up with him, however, he gets into his car and drove off.

I'm certain, Mr alpha is going to get wasted again.

I took a cab and rushed after him, he makes a stop at a lake, secluded from civilization's knowledge.

I found him seated at the river bank and he turned after my presence was felt behind.

"Samantha, you're always here to watch over me,"

He says giving me a slim smile.

I walked close and sat next to him.

Keith pulls me a lot close and placed his head on my shoulders.

We both looked at the flowing river and had no idea he had snoozed off on my shoulders.

He always looks so calm anytime he sleeps, I heard his phone ringing, I pulled it out from his pocket and saw his mom phoning.

But why?

I looked at Keith and the continuous call from her, I know it might be important, regardless Keith needs a little time off from the world.

I had his phone on silent and allowed him to sleep.

After some time, he wakes up disturbingly and asked for his phone.

I brought it to him, he unlocked it and noticed his mom has been calling.

"Seventeen missed calls"

He gets up, trying to phone her back.

But it keeps diverting to her voicemail.

Keith gets scared, he asked we return home and we did, he pulls over at the driveway and found a distressing message on the wall.

"You're next, alpha Keith,".
