Chapter 4 4.

After spending some time with Keith and his family, I went back to my dorm in college.

I walked in seizing Kailey's presence in the room although she wasn't there anymore.

I grabbed a pillow and sat at the side, I wasn't able to sleep on the bed and no matter how hard I try to, it can't work.

Luckily while leaving home I brought a mat with me, I laid it straight on the ground and fell on it with a pillow underneath my head.

I rose my head up and stared at the ceiling fan rotating until I fell dizzy and slept off.

While sleeping there was peace and quiet around, I scouted a little further from the mat and I fell my head on a hard substance that immediately triggered my head up.

I washed off the dizziness from my eyes and not expecting to see anyone in my room at this ungodly hour, I met Keith standing at the opening of my door.

"Keith, what's going on?."

I rose to meet him, he held out a hand and the minute I grabbed onto it, he falls unconscious on my body.

I took him with a heavy burden on my back and laid him on the bed, I looked back to shut the doors to my room when I noticed bloodstains on the floor.

I followed the pattern and saw Keith's shoes were stained with blood and let's not forget his hands were covered in them too.

What has he done!

I couldn't help but wonder what Keith had done in a state of being emotional, I Know he did lose his sister but why do I have this feeling like he did something wrong and it's about to change the course of time in his life.

Keith tossed and turned all through the night and I was left checking after him.

I didn't know when I slept off at the bed's head.

The following morning, I woke up to find myself tucked in bed, I got down and noticed Keith had left very early before the sun came up.

Instantly I picked up my phone and called him, he didn't pick up and it made me scared...

I had to get dressed very quickly and rushed out to find him, Keith was nowhere seen in college and there was one place he always goes whenever he was sad or felt angry.

And that was his and Kailey's secret spot.

I got into a taxi and drove off to the place, it was outside the shores of the city and straight into a deep forest.

A cottage was there and I hoped Keith would be here.

"Keith,?"

I called his name while going in.

There was no answer and I kept on riding in.

I walked up the stairs heading straight to a room.

I could hear someone talking inside, I held the door hand to open when a glass cup flew over my head and smashed the wall.

I turned and saw how little I escaped from dying, I paid back my attention, and Keith was seen wallowing his pains in alcohol.

"Samantha, why are you here, please leave".

He turned his eyes away holding onto a big bottle of alcoholic beverage.

Keith is a total mess up ever since his sister was found dead.

He must be in a lot of pain, after all, his twin sister is no more.

"Keith, give me that alcohol bottle, right now,"

I ordered him.

He looks and hissed facing another direction.
