####Chapter 6: Why am I missing him?

"Liam called me up in the morning informing the front door may be closed due to convenience of decorators. Sorry Miss Gray for not informing." Smith entered announcing.

" Miss please don't say sorry. It may be a mistake. You already have much to remember." Meg stated with a smile.

But suddenly her face fell. What does Miss mean by Liam calling? Won't he be here? He should be here. Why isn't he here?

She thought while wandering.

" Are u looking for someone?"

The sudden voice startled Meg.

She abruptly turned to find the owner of the voice.

But she was soon annoyed finding Aram, her co-worker.

Are you falling for him? Don't forget he is the darkness that may engulf your bright light. He is a billionaire not a normal person who would be by his words keeping a promise. She questioned herself. Her puzzled mind was disturbing her a lot.

After checking all the arrangements she called the car to pick them up.

In no time the car was parked in the front.

She helped Miss Smith to get in before her.

"Liam? You didn't tell aunt about picking us up? Why did you bother my son?" she looked at her nephew with those puppy eyes. She knew he was busy with his work but Atilla had time for her.

Hearing Liam's name Meg's face brightened up and she looked up at once. She found Liam seated on the driver's seat.

She stared at the mirror to notice his perfect facial features. His high bridged nose with those perfect eyes and those light pink lips could earn a kiss. She didn't advert her gaze and kept her look on the mirror. The drive was smooth.

Liam in order to notice the car behind them caught Megan looking at him through the mirror. He smiled looking at her. A heartwarming smile. Meg instantly smiled back unintentionally and lowered down her gaze.

She mentally slapped herself for being this obvious. Her heartbeat was loud enough to be noticed in the silent car.

After dropping them to the office Liam insisted on accompanying Megan to help her with the last review. Smith won't say no to Liam and as for Meg her heart wanted this and she slightly nodded in a yes.

They went to her office. Miss Smith turned to leave to her office.

Liam and Meg headed in.

Meg handed the designs and asked him to look for the outfits on his own. She didn't want to get intimated again. The heart nd the brain weren't at a same conclusion.

Liam leaned down to study the papers while Meg stood beside him.

Meg's attention was drifted towards his perfectly carved face. Those soft lips reciting the words were tempting her.

Unknowingly she leaned forward and bent down to his level turning his head slightly with her hand.

Liam froze at that moment.

He was too stunned to speak. Meg took it forward kissing Liam on his lips. It was soft and gentle. Both souls connected for sometime. Though it was clear to Meg that it wasn't correct to do so but it was inevitable for her to suppress her feelings.

Ending the kiss Liam cupped her cheeks with his hands and kisse on her forehead. It gave a sense of assurance to Megan making her feel special.

Both of them blushed and kept smiling at each other.

Meg went back to her chair.

"Sir please take your seat." Meg said to Liam who was foolishly smiling.

"Meg call me Liam when we are alone. It feels better."

"Ok" she quickly answered and drifted her attention to her laptop.

"When will you be there tomorrow?" Liam resumed.

"Almost by 10 am. Need to check a final time."

"Great. Then I'll pick u up tomorrow by 9:45"

"What?" Meg looked up surprised.

" It's not required. I can drive myself there. I am ok..."

"I didn't ask about your whereabouts" Liam said cutting her off since he already knew she would deny.

"Its decided and you'll wait."

Meg slightly nodded and smiled.
