####Chapter 9: Who is he?

The door was banged loudly as Megan left the room. She joined her friends for some snacks and drink.

The event ended peacefully. After the bitchy behavior in the room, August didn't dare to continue it in the hall since Liam was also present. She couldn't show him this side.

Since Meg didn't bring the car she asked Ishtar to drop her and proceed. Ishtar gladly agreed to it.

Liam had her in mind. As he was on his way to approach Meg he was stopped by August. Pulling a long face he asked

"You didn't leave?"

"Uhh..Liam could you drop me please?"

"Your car is waiting just out in the parking. Then why me?" he asked laughing. He didn't want to start the babble again. If it wasn't for Meg he won't call her. He knows her.

"Liam why do you have so.many questions. Let's have the dinner together today." She said wrapping her hand around Liam's arm like a possessive dumb.

Liam frowned and jerked his hand.

Meg noticed all of this. It was pricking her to see Liam with August.

Am I acting much? Why does it bother me this much? He is old enough to get rid of her. Liam didn't even ask my whereabouts about going back. It's fine anyways I don't need a man to go back. I have them.

She left with Ishtar.

Liam watched her leaving but couldn't approach her infront of everyone.

(In the car)

Phone ringing heard..

"Hello." Meg answered.

"Miss it's heard that he is back ."

"you have been saying the same for months now. Bring me his details. I want to make balance the accounts with him." She said with gritted teeth.

"Miss we are trying and once we get his departure details we will get him"

"Ain't I feeding you all much. Why can't you do such a petty thing?" Meg shouted making Ishtar shutter.

The call ended.

"Meg it'll be fine. You have waited for 2 years. Just lil bit more." Ishtar calmly explained.

"This is the one thing which always triggers me. I pay them almost everything and still these dumb can't find that bastard."eg said as she started sobbing.

After dropping her Ishtar left.

Throwing herself on the bed she started crying.

Mom...I miss you. Dad left me early. I only had you and now you aren't here. It's tough for me. I can't take things anymore. Noone loves me. It's so troublesome to take care of myself. Money even can't buy me the happiness I want. Mom come back please....

She cried her heart out. She looked at the pendent on her. It was last thing she left with Megan. The heart and the picture in between. Megan kissed it will all her love.

(Flashback)

"Baby get up sooner. It's late." Dyna called out to her daughter and she watched her love sleeping.

"Mom 5 minutes more please. "

"What would you do without me? Who's gonna cook for you baby?" she asked squeezing her daughter's cheeks

Though her daughter was a grown up she poured all her love and took care of her.

"Why would you ever leave me? I will also leave with you.."

"shh.. shut up .why will you leave with me? May God favour you in all difficulty and raise you after I leave." Dyna smiled.

"Momm.....don't start your babbling now. Serve the food. I will be back from the washroom."

"Mommy loves you my love." She winked.

"Meg loves you more mommy." Meg shouted.

Crying for hours she finally fell asleep with her mother's frame.

She lost her mother 3 years ago. The wounds are still fresh. Initially she was told that her mother died of cardiac arrest. There was nothing she could change. Her mother had never felt sick before and also never complained about a heart ache.

But an year ago the truth got revealed. It was a man who pushed her to an accident and the reports were changed coz of money and power. It was planned. Every bit of it. Even her family didn't support her in this. So she hired him to take revenge.
